i dont understand why the hell blue period is so underrated. Like for example i quite literally hate drawing sketching or whatever but this anime is so well written and characters are so human like i cant really describe it. despite of my hatred towards drawing, i adore this anime its in my top 10 list.
The first time I heared this OP, I skipped it cause it wasnt my type. But after, watching a few episodes and getting to know the story and the characters, this OP is honestly perfect and amazing, it justs fits the anime so much.

I feel like I’ve developed this view where spending time with friends or eating a snack or two or napping to keep myself going through the day is wasting time and I should be doing something productive (ie: school or practicing art) I’ve become more irritable as a result. I just feel like my goal is far away from my reach and I wanna catch up to it. What sucks is at the same time I feel really exhausted a lot of the time so I feel like I’m wasting time all the time
We've become very obsessed with productivity. Time is money as they say and everything we do while on the job is done to maximize profit wherever possible. So the feeling that we always have to be doing something productive, or else we're wasting time is just so ingrained in us at this point. It's kind of sad. Like yeah it's good to be doing things but we shouldn't have to feel irritable or exhausted stressing about staying productive...
If you haven't read or watched this yet, PLEASE GO DO SO, I promise you won't regret it. Yatora is one of the most "human" characters I've seen as a protagonist in a long time and who knows, you might just start drawing as a new hobby. 👍
I reccomend personally listening to the soundtrack while reading the manga, i'm not saying anyway is wrong or better than the other, but that's personally my favorite way to enjoy Blue Period.

It's been a couple of hard months, my mom has been treating me so poorly, at one point I could'nt even walk because of how much damage she drew from her words... So i had to make the decision to search for a new home, it was difficult, but I finally made it. In the meantime i've been strugling with finances, emotional and mental balance, so it's been exhausting, but trying to keep the positive approach. I've been trusting this feeling till' today, when I heard this Opening in a random list on spotify, but at first skkiped it because it wasn't actually my type. I don't know what it was but, 3 or 4 songs after I was like "You know what? I'm tired of my mom and other people telling me that I am wrong or mean for choosing what's better for me. Today that part of my life is over, today starts a new chapter in my life, and this chapter is going to be amazing, because I deserve better, because i'm done with the gray tones, so let's go full with new things! (meanwhile and also in my mind "let's give it a try for that Blue song that you skkiped!") Aaaaaand, BOOM! the beats that I experienced cheerished me so much, I was feeling like a new me! That was yesterday, and today I decided to search for this lyrics, finding the wonder that it describes perfectly what I felt at that exact moment. THIS SONG IS MAGIC! This anime had alot of potential, the manga was a masterpiece but the anime just failed at capturing the essence tbh. Hope we get a remake of it sometime.
