When I watch these it astroprojects me back to my 3rd year of teaching and coaching. I can taste the coffee and the feelings of a life just starting as depicted in the intro. Anybody else?
I don't remember seeing this episode back in the day so I must have missed it because so many people have commented that they have memories about this one. Beautiful episode. Thank you again for posting this show which takes us back to a happier and simpler time in our lives.
This episode of Our house put a smile on my face when David Witherspoon came out of surgery ok. It was cool the way that David’s dad showed up but was sad that David couldn’t say goodbye to his dad before his dad diet. I didn’t know that Patrick Duffy played his dad on the show.
No wonder Shannon was fantastic as Brenda Walsh... she spent two seasons perfected the moody teen angst trope... and one that is moved from the mid west to California.
She had quite a different aura as B. Walsh. In this show , she had a more intelligent and wholesome character ...likeable. In 90210 she was an insufferable, humorless, rich bitch.
This show was suggested after watching My Two Dads, Chad Allen is in the later two seasons along with Staci Kenan, who then went to Step by Step with Patrick Duffy!
I remember the scene with Molly and Bertha right after Jessie and Kris drinking a toast and right before David and his buddies walking through the woods. (I was watching a 1996 rerun.)
This episode sorta feels like what would happen after it got canceled. It talked about whats goin to happen to David, Gus will need to be looked after later on, so that probably means alzheimers, or a diabetes issue that will prevent him from doing the things he's doin in these episodes. There should be a finale of sorts where Jessie, Molly & David just coming back from Kris's funeral & dealing with her death among other issues. Like what these episodes deal with. Just a thought.
OMG, it's true! The actor playing David's friend Mark is also Little Russ Thompson from Honey I Shrunk The Kids. (I noticed a resemblance and later googled the episode, same actor, Thomas Brown.)
Fun fascinating fact: Duffy was born on St. Patrick’s Day as well as having a very Irish name. (Not to mention the holiday itself contains his first name.)
One of the worst characters in the entire series was the owner of the horse stables/ranch. Cardboard has more personality than she. She's the only person in the entire series that couldn't act.
that property is worth more than any money could buy. the sword in the family for generations, something this country will NEVER BE ABLE TO RELATE TO, HONOR AND FAMILY.
Thank you! Feels like 1987 again. Easier times.
Thank you 🙏 just like Sunday nights back in the day.

Yeah, Shannen Doherty continued acting into adulthood.
I remember this series when i was 9 ...... I wish they are become mine...
Oo
I just noticed this but you can tell the stunt person is a grown man. That makes sense but I found it funny. It happens quickly.
Never noticed that until I read your message, and went back to rewatch.😀😀
I noticed it right away because I assumed they had a stunt person and rewound it. I was like that guy is way taller than Chad Allen at the time!
This show was suggested after watching My Two Dads, Chad Allen is in the later two seasons along with Staci Kenan, who then went to Step by Step with Patrick Duffy!
I remember that show, with Paul Reiser and Greg Evigan as the "two dads."
THIS SHOW IS AWESOME
took me 2 hrs to find this episode it was my fave when i was a kid
Thank You!!! I wish you all the best!
I love watching this the 1980s when things were simpler when I was a kid had a crush on Chad Allen
I remember the scene with Molly and Bertha right after Jessie and Kris drinking a toast and right before David and his buddies walking through the woods. (I was watching a 1996 rerun.)
I remember seeing Gus's boss in the classic 50s movie version of The Diary of Anne Frank. She played Anne.
THANK YOU!!! Hope you’re doing well and feeling better! When will see more episodes from season 2? I just can’t enough- these are the BEST!!
This show should have ran longer than it did where can I watch season one and season 2 of this show ?👍
Nothing like the good old days
I remember Patrick Duffy guest-starring as the late father, too.
Gotta figure, back when Our House aired Lorimar Pictures was the company that had the rights to Dallas as well
I'm certain Bertha says, "Cut me in or you die," although "Count me in or you die" would have made more sense.
I recorded S2 E7 on a VHS in 1996. (The one with David's accident.)
Thanks so much!
Now days theres nothing but crap on tv
In the surfing episode, the friend is the reckless one who surfs the point, and David is the smart one. In this episode, it's reversed.
His near death experience gave him a new respect for life, I guess.
I wasn't kicked by a burrito.😂🤣
When will we get more of season 2?
Deidre hall what a great actress 👍
Love the dog
Yeah, dog is Man's Best Friend.
😃 Hope You're having a good day
Haven’t seen this in years and when I did watch it John was Roman . Jessie’s husbands name is Johnny.🤣

This bring bk memories
This is a good one
Sometimes a little of Joe goes a long way!!!!!!!!
I knew that the kid playing Mark looked familiar. He was in Honey, I Shrunk the Kid!
Yep, just like I put together, Thomas Brown, played Little Russ Thompson.
id fix it up and live there myself. as long as the roof was good id be fine.
OMG, it's true! The actor playing David's friend Mark is also Little Russ Thompson from Honey I Shrunk The Kids. (I noticed a resemblance and later googled the episode, same actor, Thomas Brown.)
51:39 OMG, that's the same exact toaster my parents used to have! (Same exact kind.)
Patrick duffy
Patrick Duffy. I kept thinking "he played on Dallas."
@@jedmartin4297 Yeah, as Bobby Ewing. (By the way, this show overlapped with Dallas. Started later and ended earlier.)
Fun fascinating fact: Duffy was born on St. Patrick’s Day as well as having a very Irish name. (Not to mention the holiday itself contains his first name.)
Gus was dishonest when asked if he was a drinking man. He drinks beer when playing poker.
Gus was old when he was young LOL
because people will live where they can afford. to.
