I'm on an Our House marathon and the writing for this show was just top notch. I love how straight forward, firm but loving the mother and grandfather are. The kids are kids, but respectful, not precocious smart alecks. They express themselves with maturity but its age appropriate. I was an 80s kid and knew this show was on, but didn't watch it. Now I'm 45 and looking for some wholesome nostalgia, life lessons, words of wisdom kind of tv watching and this is really doing the trick for me. Yes some of the plots are hokey, but hey that's the 80s for you sometimes :)
Jury duty. In 1993, my wife and I were being sued by a home invader (who had tried to kill me) and kidnap a child from our house. He wanted.7.5 million dollars because I'd defended myself and the family when the POLICE DIDT COME Our future depended on 12 people being conscientious enuf to show up for jury duty.!!. If you are ever called for jurty duty. Think how much the victim is dependant on your presence and honesty.
@@stopdeforestation Not sure of your point but our first attys REFUSED to press for filing of ANY charges. Their comment word for word was "What do you want,? You hurt him bady". And that's the moment the SOB was given "the clearance" to sue us. Our Home owners ins had us fire them and they engaged the atty who handled the lawsuit.
Thank you very much for posting the series! I've been looking for a series for years but without result (( Tell me where do you get all the episodes of the series, that is, found it ??? Thank you very much, I hope you post the whole series
Only thing missing from the script in episode 5, the writers should have had Jessie say "Mr Buchanan, your wife hired a private investigator to follow you around, you will never have any privacy for the remainder of your life". I wish we knew how Mr Buchanan & his wife conversed when he got home that night. What do you guys think, do you think he divorced her & gave her a lot of his money, or stayed married to her & put up with her breathing down his neck. Either way he was scr3wed.
People like that are in it for the drama and the game-playing. I guess that he already knew she was having him followed and enjoyed the cat and mouse, and they stayed together mutually cheating on each other till death dyp.
Is it just me or did anyone else realize when he was talking to the girls he was sitting in the chair . When mom walks In there is no one in the chair. When she says are you ready he is back in the chair lol I think someone messed up !
it was hard , she didnt have to give up anything and her childrens reactions were like and then what? red flags to me but then in 67 and can see that stuff a lot easier now.
it all happened way too fast for me. like my ex love bombed me in 5 days for me to say i loved him he said it in 5 seconds so you know it wasnt real, that takes years to know that. and its too easy to be real life too.
It's one of the best family TV dramas of the 80's, lots of families tune in to watch Our House every week.

Thank You so much for these. For some reason this show always stuck in the back of my head ever since i was a kid. So happy to find it again .
This show will always be in my heart! This was the best family show in the 1980s.
What a treat every Sunday we would watch Our House.
I’ve been searching for this for old show for sooo long!!! It jus randomly popped up on my feed.. thank you for this, I will enjoy👍🏼😄
I very much enjoy the gruff character that Wilford Brimley brings to the cast. I also enjoy the little granddaughter Molly. Thanks for this series.
thank you - my first favourite tv show, it’s very exciting to see it again. Rip Shannen
Wilford Brimley is amazing, this is a great show. They don't make em like they used to.
Naomi is played by Andrea Barber who was Kimmy on Full House. From one house to another!
Andrea Barber also played little Carrie on Days of our Lives. So Marlena's (Deidre Hall) step daughter.
My understanding was her and Deidre were very close.
Annoying but funny and lovable at the same time!
Bertha went on to star in Major Dad the caricature Robin Cooper.
I think tiny Andrea Barber is the Cindy Lou Who of this show, rather than Molly.
Please add more and thank you.I have been looking for this show for years
Working on it now. Sorry for the delay, I’ve been sick 😞
@@DeevaHogestyn Thanks for your work in uploading all of these

@@stopdeforestation Ultimately yes. It cost our homeowners a bundle tho
@@frederickwise5238 have u seen the episode of our house where gus gets cut by a knife, and he prosecutes the guy, despite threats. Great episode

That is terrible that it even had to go to trial that man must have been a monster I hope he got what was coming to him.

I always wanted to serve on a jury but never got called. Doesn't matter now. As a lawyer I'm guaranteed to be the first one dismissed.

Your about section reads like a nut job wrote it.

Molly is the Cindy Lou Who of this show.
1:03:11 We used to have a cat named Gretchen.
She is one of the most beautiful women in television history, so perfect and sexy in every way
It's a petit jury- 6 people
