    Some pretty healthy gains from just those two things!

    Great work on both car and camera! Shame there's no mention of how that extra power felt at the butt-dyno level...

    Did you notice much difference driving the car? Does it feel faster?

    More B roll with exhaust sounds!!!

      we would have liked to get more too but the tire whine on the dyno was unbelievably loud (that whine you hear during the dyno pulls)

    Is this in California?

    Although the Hp gains were good, I just can’t help but wonder how much better a straight-flow intake replacement setup would be? The stock one used still seems a bit restrictive with all the bends in it.

      At this sort of power level, it won't make any difference at all. Maybe when you get over 1000hp.

    Dang that dyno I reads low

    It’s pretty obvious manufacturers are very limited with and and how to mass produce good products for cheap compared to aftermarket parts that’s whole job is to improve on the previous so yes you will get gains not much but you will feel it driving

    Is this with a tune as well?

    • @motoiq
      @motoiq  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      nope not yet! we’ll do the first tune when we put on the shorty headers.

    How or why is this dyno posting 50-60HP less than anything else I've seen?

    • @motoiq
      @motoiq  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Don’t focus on the max number. Focus on the percentage gains.

    • @shawndejong6699

      @@motoiq I understand what you're saying completely. Elevation, fuel etc can all play a part in dyno numbers, and in reality they're just a baseline. That said when your numbers are so far off the baseline of everything else ever posted for a stock C7, anyone who's even remotely mathematically inclined would seriously question the results from the gains themselves. Fantastic vid tho, and an absolutely stunning car.

      It's just the type of dyno it is, or the way it's set up.

    • @corybreaux1345
      @corybreaux1345 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's because 95% of all posts with dyno numbers use a dynojet dyno. Which is the highest reading dyno. The dyno he is using just like a mustang dyno/dynamometer is more accurate but reads around 15% less than a dynojet. For instance, My twin turbo Z made 548whp/482tq on his type of dyno. But it made 603whp/541tq on a dynojet.

    Tune it next... dont do headers please for the love of God! I will bey you will add 25- 30 more hp at the tire rwhp just doing some good tuning.
