Corsa Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake | Power that Shows

In this video I will walk you all the way through a cold air intake on a C7 corvette.
This is an easy install and the Corsa Carbon Fiber intake looks as good at is works. It reports it will increase up to 15 HP and 15 foot lbs. of torque. Plus is it all carbon fiber and the lightness of it adds to less weight.

Hello Bary, very nice video ! I own a 2017 Z06 and I will be adding a cold air intake. Your video made the install look pretty easy ! Thank you ! One question ? Once installed did you have to get your engine retuned because of the un-restricted cold air volume increase ?

No, The computer with the map sensor still there automatically adjusts. I went and ran mine with a tuner and my air mixture was almsot perfect.

Greag video. Just bought the same Corsa intake for my 2017 z06. Did you have any fitment issues when you went to close the hood? And did it trigger a check engine light?

I bought it from www.rpidesigns.com/ Then I had the guy that did my air brushing on the engine candy coat the lower sections to give it that ripple depth look.

Hello sir! I have the same model GS with a M7. Did you notice any differences after installing this mod? Also, did you add the white stripe + hood vents yourself or did it come like that? Thanks!

I bought my Corvette with the white stripe and vent. It came from the factory like that. Not many do as most are black or carbon fiber looking. For the CAI yes I noticed a difference. It has a snappier response on the throttle. When I give it the fuel it response faster and with more pull. It is also when running down the road and you add in some fuel you can hear it grumble deeper when it starts sucking in more air. To me it sounds much more bad ass. Hope that helps. Hey just installed it following this video, I couldn't tell from your camera angles, but is there supposed to be a small 1/4in ish gap between the filter and the airbox? Since theres no connection between the box and filter, so it just sorta sits in there

I don't fully remember any gap in there and should not be. Would need to be tight to filter all air going into the engine. You might want to just verify you didn't have something wrong or a part missing etc. Hope that helps.

What did you notice for performance gains and intake noise?

For my car it feels snappier and quicker on the response from when I give it some fuel. The noise is awesome. It growls more when you are giving it the fuel, kind of like the old days when you turned your air clean cover over and hear the 4 barrel carb sucking in air, but a little deeper growl.
