@4:35 - Sorry, but that type of "flying" does nothing for me. Looks like a potentially serious accident just waiting to happen. Real choppers don't fly like that and to me, the beauty of these scale flying models is to see them replicate real aircraft as much as possible. This is little more than mickey mouse flying tactics. 👎
I have a commercial drone pilots licence and have done a lot of flying big RC single rotor helicopters, but it still amazes me to watch guys flying 3D aerobatic helicopters, how they can keep their brain tuned into the helicopters 3D orientation in space and command it correctly when it's flipping and turning around all over the place so quickly.
Did the helicopter burn out because the pilot took forever to gain significant speed? I imagine it's at least partially cooled with airflow, using speed to ventilate
Didn't enjoy the many crashes as I experienced one myself at young age with my self designed and constructed glider (2.8 m wingspan) which basically ended my enthusiasm as a model builder and pilot. It was a shock to me that hours and hours of work got completely destroyed within seconds and most of all it was my mistake as a pilot. I can feel what it means to all of the pilots and constructors that take their hobby serious.
My goodness, just watching these crashes hurts! Does anybody know what happend to the first scale helicopter? It tilted so fast nose down. That's the most brutal: some of these crashes are happening so fast that it so difficult to save them. And even worst are technical failuress. I had my own crashes and know the awful feeling to return home with your loved model in several pieces!

I have a nice Drone and have never crashed it. 3 years and haven’t flown it yet.
looks to me like the most common cause for fixed wing crash is......turning too steep, too slow, resulting in the inside wing stalling.
Much like real life accidents.
@jackspeer2127-My thoughts exactly on the stalling.
And people thinking they can loop-loop in baluga planes 😂
@@Dumb_Furry_UwU Yes they build a freighter and expect it to fly like a stunt plane.

Oh, how I remember those days. Going to the flying field with your latest pride and joy. Coming home with TRASH.
Yes! Yes! Yes! (sadly something my GF never says). In hindsight, that was no way to RELAX
I didnt even come home with anything. My plane crashed deep in the woods.

Now this is my kind of RC video!
Crashes were far better back when we spent months building out of little pcs of balsa and covering in doped paper.
Super Guppy #3 crashed, was rebuilt, and then did the same thing!
I get distinct joy out of watching these
Hi
Can’t you make the undercarriages a bit stronger?
What happened to the helicopter at 1:00 ?
it got scared
It's always good to see someone having a worse day than you. I thought having to buy a tire was bad. Glad I do not have these repair expenses

Wow, that's a HORRIBLE and rally selfish thing to say! Real humanitarian you are. 😐
I don't get it. How come so many of these aircraft appear to be flying normally then just nose dive into the ground? Happens time after time.
Wind has a much greater impact due to smaller wings and less weight

It looked so dangerous standing near that chopper. They could lose control for 3 seconds then those rotor blades are in someone's neck.

Whenever I see these vids I think to myself, there are amazing builders, and there are competent pilots, but rarely both.
meh
sometimes you just screw up
I'm a fairly decent pilot but I still have crashed about 50 times
Are those Spirit planes?
Those aerobatic helicopters are just uninteresting to me.
I fly r/c helicopters and think the 3D/acrobatic flying is just stupid.
Ok
Same - I prefer scale flying, but you have to hand it to the 3D boys, takes a lot of time and effort to get proficient at doing those stunts.

I didn’t know it was a thing until I saw this clip. It’s not my thing I guess but I could see how other people would be into it.
I dont think that Beluga wants to fly if you ask me
Yeah looks super unstable from the get go. Maybe the design doesn’t scale down all to well.
That breaks my heart to see all the time and hard work put into this destroyed.

Flieg nicht so tief, Rüdiger! Keine Capriolen!
Mostly the same old story - oversensitive (twitchy) control inputs. Why not dial that back and fly straight and level at scale speeds?
Because it's fun to push the limits
Can someone explain this one to me please? 3:40
Schade, so viele Unfälle, jedes tut so weh.

Never seen an Airbus with anhedral wings, they should be dihedral (angled upwards)
My thought process was sorta like this: "Ooh A340...wait a second that looks wrong..."
You have to try watching these compilations at 50% playback speed! The scale models look so much more real!
