One of the blokes in the background I heard say "do it again" to which the pilot replied with that sound in his voice that implied, " Hell no, I don't even know how I got away with it that time." . If you look around you can find some amazing jet flying using thrust vectoring to do what I would normally have considered impossible for a jet. There's one particular clip of a matched pair of jets doing the most insane 3D type manoeuvres mostly over a lake, it is awesome to watch.

The Antanov An-2 can not only hover on the spot in the right conditions, it can actually fly backwards, I've seen it with my own eyes on several occasions, it's quite something to behold for a bird of its size. Very nice model of that German push/pull high performance fighter he barely missed there. I tried to mockup one, but found the rear prop made the elevator ineffective.

Well it's refreshing to see that one thing hasn't changed since I was involved in this hobby 15-25 years ago and that is that none of these scale aircraft pilots has any idea about using the rudder, whether it's during take off or to make coordinated turns. Many of these models would have been saved if the pilot had any idea about using the rudder on his model.

Here's a tip from someone who's played since day 1 Grab a helicopter and fly at low altitude memorize the locations of poles and stuff that you could crash into Then Repeat in a jet
It breaks your heart to see these beautiful models that have taken countless hours to create have mishaps but I couldn't fail to notice that some of those aircraft were being flown and I think too windy a conditions
LOL, most of these are Low & Slow pilot errors, then equipment malfunctions that should NOT have happened like wheels falling off or engine outs at low altitude and not enough airspeed at that altitude, dead batteries etc. Sorry to say but, "Been there done that". I have to give props to the pilot of that first Mirage at the 2:00 mark. It sounds like he lost his engine and had to make an emergency landing in a strong crosswind. That was a beautiful recovery in the grass to minimize the damage. Same with the Wildcat pilot at 7:30 who lost the engine in a bad position for a recovery. Considering it looked like the turn back to the strip bled out the momentum too much to make a proper landing, it had enough to cushion the impact.

Most planes will glide dead stick however it does make you land gusts need enough altatude to make it back to run way

They kept control of the airplane right to the ground. Best you can do sometimes.
