Yes.. did that on the turret too. Seems a pretty obvious way to use it, since her Q is a targeted skill that can b used on allies so you just use the ward to align it in a way you can hit someone out of its original cast range or untargetable (invi/camouflage)
I tried her out on PBE in practice tool and a few things to note: Ult doesn't do damage to minions. Due to her charge fire passive, she doesn't gain much attack speed from items. E has a cast time where you cant do anything. W is kind of slow and can hit minions. Her effectiveness will probably be based on the rate she collects souls. Her passive gives her crit. Any excess crit over 100%, 35% of it is converted into lifesteal. Like Jhin since she fires slow lifesteal isn't as effective on her.

Her e is decent other than that she seems fine after testing in PBE. Her attackspeed is limited (going 6 50% as items gives 1.3 as) crit does less damage. her autos are on a delay (more delay than kalista and she doesnt get a jump obviously)
Dunno, the video only showed 1 auto attack and it may be were Senna is the weakiest in the league. Some times ago Janna had a terrible AA animation making her unplayable as an adc despite some nasty AD gains on her shield. @@thitoize Yeah, she can 100% be punished for going for autos, and her kit revolves on her and her Adc collecting mist for her. In the same way the Thresh/ADC combo works. If you wanted to bully with Thresh he needed souls. If you want Senna to scale without relying on items, she needs mist. If you play around her passive, all of a sudden she no longer seems that strong. To add extra spice, her Ultimate's potency scales with her passive as well. So it's only strong if her opponents allow it to be, and worst yet, her kit is great for setting up kills but not killing herself. So as much as LS memed about Lucian being inferior, Senna actually just makes Lucian better at what he can do. Imagine a super aggro Lucian being supported by a champion that can bail him out of scenarios where he would've taken a bad trade. I think one of the scariest combos might end up being Vayne/Senna. Senna covers for her range disadvantage, and gives her a free way into a trade.

They placed ward to target it with Q so that they could hit a target that was out of range. You can see it later in a clip vs janna bot lane. The beam is centered on the ward, not the Janna.

We don't know the items but at 13:40 on the same level she seems to have 80 hp less than Kalista. According to the wiki, she would be the second lowest hp at level 18 behind EZ so she would indeed be fragile.

Even if the pbe gameplay didnt mention it. Senna has ti collect the wraiths manually. So, if you are trading in bot and you lose the fight, you wont get all the wraiths and you bonuses stats wont be there for you until mid game, if you managed to gain control over a lane. Also, i think (without any info that confirms this) the sidelines on her ultimate just knock you back. It doesnt deal damage or heal, I guess this would be useful to keep her safe during the time she shoots that global beam.

The ward wasn't to reveal Akali, she can target ANYTHING, including her own ward, to extend her Q range, thats why it was so massive killing Akali and Janna
I just played a couple games with her on PBE, once as ADC and once as support. Her passive is going to need nerfed, and either her base AD, AD or Current HP% on her passive, or her Q scaling, if they want to keep her locked down to support. When I played her ADC, I was able to collect enough Mist to out-range turrets without RFC, lol. I ended the game with an 875 base attack range. Despite the disgusting number of Mist stacks I collected, the shield on her R remained fairly small, though the damage on it was oppressive AF. Her W is strong but it didn't feel THAT busted to me? They have time to spread before it roots. You're exactly right on her E though. In mid and late game, when you see the Sennablob coming, you don't know if she's alone, or has, 1, 2, 3, or 4 others in that shroud with her. It's terrifying. Worth noting though, that hitting with skillshots / AoE does produce a shimmer in the outline of the champion. So you can suss out who you hit. Oh, and her Q functions EXACTLY like Lucian's in the way you target it, except you can target friendlies, wraiths, towers, and wards. That is why you see her drop a ward on that Akali kill and Janna kill. She didn't have the range to Q the enemy, so she dropped a ward and Q'd it instead.

hey hey, she gets 1 AD per passive stack, and she also gets range and crit chance from them too. She can easily match Caitlyn's range by the end of laning phase (it only takes 40 stacks) and by that time she'll also have a free BF sword and more than 1 item's worth of crit chance. No matter how hard I tried though I could not get her anywhere near 2.5 attack speed. Also those times she warded before Q she did so to cast Q on the ward for extra range.
Btw the ward wasnt placed for the shroud the akali went into shroud so she couldnt target her and she placed a ward to target so she can hir her, so she can target wards to use it as a skill shot and to get people untargetable or out of her range like a bigger lucian q and can target all types of units not sure if it will be able to target plants tho

Senna's Q works like Lucian's Q & can hit anything, so when she was placing wards against the Akali, and janna bot, she was using it to target it and extend the range.
The fact that her Q heals herself and also applies on hit effects is insane. Her passive giving bonus crit AND range AND possibly lifesteal if shes overcapped on crit is insane. Nevermind her other abilities just functionally being disgustingly good, they added those things onto her for some fucking reason. Jesus. I can't wait to abuse it.
Even if her ratios aren't great but her base damage is, she probably works well as a lethality ADC. Especially considering its implied that she doesn't work with atk speed.
She wont be a solo laner, the way the passive works is theres a strongly reduced chance of minions dropping mist if shes the one who kills them, she gets about 1 wraith per wave if shes the one farming.

Hey @LS do you think power creep is a big problem in League? I don' think they can rework every champ to be viable.. Look at MF's kit and then at Senna's. It's actually insane.
She wards the akali shroud because she has to target something to fire q and she can target anything including allies/wards/turrets. Similar to lucians piercing light she gets extra range past the target.
Wanna hear the funniest thing? She's not even broken. She's so damn well balanced, with her overloaded kit. Maybe even a tad bit weak as an ADC. Her numbers aren't that high, actually. The whole point of her is to try your best to scale for late game, with her passive, which is really cool. And yes, you can infinitely stack her, but it won't work super quickly, cause the amount of wraiths that come out of the minions is rather rare, it's like Thresh's souls. She seems over the top, and broken, but she genuinely isn't. And I really like this. Riot actually made a support adc that feels like a support adc. Pyke also feels like a genuinely balanced assassin support, but mostly after all the changes. Also, her R damage/shield aren't that strong. In fact, her R shield doesn't have an AD ratio at all, only an AP and mist ratio, but the damage has an AD ratio. And it takes approximately 1 second for her R to cross the whole map. But, in terms of damage, her R is inferior to Ezreal and Jinx R, and other ultimates, except maybe Ashe. (Also, she can't use her Q on herself, she needs to target something other than herself, which means that in those clips where it seemed like her Q had ridiculous range, she used it on the wards, and on the turret, but it's also why it seemed like Senna just randomly placed her ward onto the Akali shroud)
Senna Placed the ward on the Akali and Janna Clips to targtet it with her q thus being able to fire it and damage both during the clip where she was targeted by Caitlyn ult, Senna Q'd her turret for its heal

Slow casting AA ; E is unreliable as it has about 0.5 to 0.8 secs cast time from what i can tell by playing her in PBE sandbox; her W can be dodged much like varus ult and you can also get out of the range of the spread too; she does not scale with AS at all; Passive takes far too long to stack similar to thresh; She can't possible handle herself in a 1v1 lane but might replace Karma/Lulu/Soraka/Taric/Tahm in a funnel strategy
I presume her passive's supposed to make her inviable as a carry. She's intended to have very slow autoattacks, meaning she has the lowest attack speed in the game. Unless her abilities somehow scale with AD (EDIT: and they do scale VERY well with AD), she'd only have some very slow autoattacks and her utility spells (W and E) to work with. She doesn't seem intended to even be balanceable as a carry. Even as a support, her E's going to be absolutely broken. The shroud itself is already insane; the ghoul mechanic tacked on top of it seems excessive, regardless of how powerful it ultimately ends up being.
Ls she has to place the ward to use her q on the ward in those clips, its point and click like lucian. it looks like she has to shoot through an ally / minion / ward to hit the enemies behind it because the cast range is smaller than the spell range, like lucian q
Her Q is Lucian's Q but better Her W is Lissandra's W but you don't have to be face first in enemies to root them. Her E is Shen's W but better. Her R is Lux's R with Lux W but at a larger range.
I'm just gonna make a blind guess and say this will be a godtier counterpick to Soraka. Probably a few more but I don't see how in the world Soraka doesn't just die every time she walks to lane vs this champ.

Senna can heal herself with Q, camps drop multiple Mists, she can root multiple targets and its instant if she kills the target with the root, she can easily escape from any threat with the 20% move speed and unclickable status from E and you can gank from anywhere with ultimate, she can def be a jungler, ganking level 2 with a root
She has unlimited AD stacking potential, awa crit chance and range for every 20 stacks. Crit chance beyond 100% is changed to lifesteal at 35% rate. So if she would have 120% crit chance, she would instead have 100% crit chance and 7% lifesteal.
Riot wants her to be a support and not an adc, what this means in terms of numbers is that she will have high base damage and very low ad scaling. Now the thing is, lethality works fine on high base damage....

the way they're gonna balance it is have no scaling damage at all. you're gonna have to build her as tank. her autos wont scale with AD. its the only way it makes sense. and if not, i'm gonna have to learn her on the PBE so i can run it down when she hits live servers

The entire ult gives shield. Center does damage and shields.
The reason she placed the ward is cuz her Q is targeted, she can target any allied units(wards, turrets,Champs) or enemy champions.

The ult damage discussion isn't well thought out, Thresh has no armor growth so it looks like her ult does more damage than it does.
Btw the ward wasnt placed for the shroud the akali went into shroud so she couldnt target her and she placed a ward to target so she can hir her, so she can target wards to use it as a skill shot and to get people untargetable or out of her range like a bigger lucian q and can target all types of units not sure if it will be able to target plants tho
I think the ward she places for her q is because its a onclick ability like lucians q but hence it also heals she targets her wards as an ally to still fire at out of range targets

Senna's Q works like Lucian's Q & can hit anything, so when she was placing wards against the Akali, and janna bot, she was using it to target it and extend the range.

The fact that her Q heals herself and also applies on hit effects is insane. Her passive giving bonus crit AND range AND possibly lifesteal if shes overcapped on crit is insane. Nevermind her other abilities just functionally being disgustingly good, they added those things onto her for some fucking reason. Jesus. I can't wait to abuse it.

Wanna hear the funniest thing? She's not even broken. She's so damn well balanced, with her overloaded kit. Maybe even a tad bit weak as an ADC. Her numbers aren't that high, actually. The whole point of her is to try your best to scale for late game, with her passive, which is really cool. And yes, you can infinitely stack her, but it won't work super quickly, cause the amount of wraiths that come out of the minions is rather rare, it's like Thresh's souls. She seems over the top, and broken, but she genuinely isn't. And I really like this. Riot actually made a support adc that feels like a support adc. Pyke also feels like a genuinely balanced assassin support, but mostly after all the changes. Also, her R damage/shield aren't that strong. In fact, her R shield doesn't have an AD ratio at all, only an AP and mist ratio, but the damage has an AD ratio. And it takes approximately 1 second for her R to cross the whole map. But, in terms of damage, her R is inferior to Ezreal and Jinx R, and other ultimates, except maybe Ashe.
(Also, she can't use her Q on herself, she needs to target something other than herself, which means that in those clips where it seemed like her Q had ridiculous range, she used it on the wards, and on the turret, but it's also why it seemed like Senna just randomly placed her ward onto the Akali shroud)

Slow casting AA ; E is unreliable as it has about 0.5 to 0.8 secs cast time from what i can tell by playing her in PBE sandbox; her W can be dodged much like varus ult and you can also get out of the range of the spread too; she does not scale with AS at all; Passive takes far too long to stack similar to thresh; She can't possible handle herself in a 1v1 lane but might replace Karma/Lulu/Soraka/Taric/Tahm in a funnel strategy
I presume her passive's supposed to make her inviable as a carry. She's intended to have very slow autoattacks, meaning she has the lowest attack speed in the game. Unless her abilities somehow scale with AD (EDIT: and they do scale VERY well with AD), she'd only have some very slow autoattacks and her utility spells (W and E) to work with. She doesn't seem intended to even be balanceable as a carry.
Even as a support, her E's going to be absolutely broken. The shroud itself is already insane; the ghoul mechanic tacked on top of it seems excessive, regardless of how powerful it ultimately ends up being.
Ls she has to place the ward to use her q on the ward in those clips, its point and click like lucian. it looks like she has to shoot through an ally / minion / ward to hit the enemies behind it because the cast range is smaller than the spell range, like lucian q

I'm just gonna make a blind guess and say this will be a godtier counterpick to Soraka. Probably a few more but I don't see how in the world Soraka doesn't just die every time she walks to lane vs this champ.

Senna can heal herself with Q, camps drop multiple Mists, she can root multiple targets and its instant if she kills the target with the root, she can easily escape from any threat with the 20% move speed and unclickable status from E and you can gank from anywhere with ultimate, she can def be a jungler, ganking level 2 with a root

She has unlimited AD stacking potential, awa crit chance and range for every 20 stacks. Crit chance beyond 100% is changed to lifesteal at 35% rate. So if she would have 120% crit chance, she would instead have 100% crit chance and 7% lifesteal.
Riot wants her to be a support and not an adc, what this means in terms of numbers is that she will have high base damage and very low ad scaling.
Now the thing is, lethality works fine on high base damage....
Every time a new champion comes out I literally say to myself, "Why Riot...why did you make this champion?"

the way they're gonna balance it is have no scaling damage at all. you're gonna have to build her as tank. her autos wont scale with AD. its the only way it makes sense. and if not, i'm gonna have to learn her on the PBE so i can run it down when she hits live servers
