He has 9 basic abilities but they share 3 common and quite long cooldowns. I like this especially W. You need WE for mana restore apparently because his stuff just costs a lot of mana but if you use W on mana restore, your movement speed buff or/and your shield is also on cooldown. Makes for a cool weakness in his kit.

So how do you balance this champion? No one will use 10 abilities in a skirmish or teamfight, people are just going to abuse his strongest skills making half of his kit unused.
@@Garnzlok % dmg almost always is superior to flat dmg. Maybe you're right and his kit will force people to use different/all skills but in my experience that's usually not the case. If a champ has 10 builds there is alwys going to be 1-2 superior builds that will take over and make the other builds obsolete.
I wonder if it will end up being something like Udyr, with different ways to play based on which items are strong on the patch, etc. I think you're right that people will quickly figure what the strongest builds + ability combos are, but that can always fluctuate with nerfs and buffs so we might see different iterations emerge over time
A character is hard because there is a high skill ceiling. Hwei is definitely difficult to master. You're judging based on the skill Floor, which really doesn't say anything

i mean all of league champ are pretty simple dumbdown version of more complex MOBA or RTS, it's just that our playerbase is in the lower end of intellegence spectrum so they think everything is to complicated and hard

it's like ability interactions are instead divided into combos, so for a particular interaction press the abilities in this order and stuff like that.

Oh his brush changes colour based on the core ability he is using so if it’s not an instapop ability you can kinda preempt what he is gonna do

They have different use cases like you would use qw on a full HP enemy because it's based on missing whereas qq would be used for that
