With the amount of money paid to section 8 the person could own a home and have they're taxes for 10 years and i dont mean paying for there home buyers program that restricts a person by income with whether or not they can get a mortgage but actually buying there homes by private owners they would have to eventually pay taxes but you're apartments do not qualify simply because they are not able to choose housing there accepting whatever quickly because no one really accepts those vouchers which violates the program automatically so in October expect to have to pay a drastically higher insurance and for most landlords they will fail inspections if there not like luxury homes with a option to buy.

How do you get a property to start even renting out in the first place ?

I need help; i have an inspection for 2 bedroom condo, it does not have permanent light fixture in living room and master bedroom, this are old buildings and never had permanent fixtures installed. Do you know if that is a requirement? I am located in NJ Middlesex county

I once blew an inspection due to low pressure from a bathroom sink faucet. Talk about being petty.
Usually if it's the same inspector and they know you, they'll trust you to get it taken care of. But when dealing with new inspectors or different housing commissions, you never know.

      It’s not petty at all

Good advice, before when i tested an outlet i'd just plug a lamp and if it lights figured it was good. However that plug thing you showed will tell you if it isn't grounded properly, which will fail

Blow the bag! I am working on my first house.i am living in it while I work on it. Been procrastinating, so I am blowing the bag. I learn to shut up stop telling everyone what I am doing till it's done, because of blowing the bag.

@@davidlattimore7059 two years ago, wow! Although I’m still blowing the bag, but I have came a lot further, and 3 to 4 months away from completion. Unlearning old shit to return a new habit is hard, but if u have vision, and just a little discipline. I promise it’s possible, when you look back you will become more discipline bye see in the reward. Good luck bro

John, I bought my first section 8. It is An 80 year old rehabbed one bedroom, but I added a second bedroom. The property is like new, but the inspector only recognized one bedroom. Cutting my rent down over $100 per month. Can I appeal this and get the extra money?

How frequent are these inspections suppose to be? I just had one last month and now they are doing another one this month? Is this an every month thing? They allocated an entire week. I wanted to bring over my new girlfriend, but I do not want the inspection people busting in while I'm trying to get my groove on.

i have it very hard to beleive that section 8 will not pass apts for these minor things when many times section 8 does not even look for these problems i been to a section 8 inspection so i know better besides that section 8 has allowed many landlords to rent out apts with useless heating systems to teh poor adn apts with tic infestation bat infestation putting the poor in severe danger and asbestos in apts landlords lies dont work on me section 8 insepction is severly pathetic puts many poor in danger

Sec8 is nice if the tenant doesnt have a child 6 and under then the inspection becomes too much
