My experience the inspector has been a huge expense, especially when there are several units. Maybe you get a better price or your location has more reasonable rates than mine. After the first 2 I got, I have done my own inspections. But overall, that 15 looks excellent. Wish I could find them like that too where I'm at in Chicago . Good luck
When do you get a management company to handle your properties? Before you move out of the house you're going to rent or after? And what if you plan on living in one of the doors of like a duplex and have a management company.
What type of inspection is it? Because when I search for an inspection, the result shows specific experts, like electrical inspector, plumbing inspector.
Should I get an inspection done on a place before or after my offer on an apartment is accepted? I havent signed any contracts yet but the owner has accepted my theoretical offer. Just wondering because this is the fist place I am buying.
Before your offer. How do you know you'll want to make that offer after the inspection report comes out? But Chandler did say have an Inspection Contignecy section in your agreement
wish my apartment got a real inspection so i no its safe bc my landlord always pays the inspector off n my last landlord paid that boroughs inspector off too, so idk why inspectors just don't do there jobs, its like every borough, government n state employee is corrupt!!
Picked up a few good pointers from Dan. Hope he puts the garage floor in the report. Concrete looks like a very long crack. Good luck with the final report.

BIG mistake This guy was a joke compared to your inspector I definitely didn't know about the insurance nor the experience and background My inspector didn't even look at the windows which were all defective and I had to shell 30 bricks to replace bc I couldn't heat or cool the house huge bugs were coming in and they had mold on them I wish I sued the jerk but I was too nice All new buyers don't use the inspector your realtor recommends and ask these questions

The masks that have ports like the inspectors n95 mask let out unfiltered air when you exhale. Those only protect the person wearing it.
