      @@Reth_Hard upgrading isn't that hard. If you want to keep using Windows 7 after that point then take the same risk as those who complained when XP left it's service life. For everyone else who have made the switch the security updates are frequent.

      @Hecka Much Magazine I definitely agree with you on this, but it’s going to take a short while for the necessary societal changes to occur before these positive changes can be implemented into society correctly. Radical paradigm shifts require intensive preparation and foresight to correctly implement these types of changes, or it can negatively impact society just as much as the previous system, and potentially worse if it’s not handled with insightful care and planning.

    • @mesmith2526
      @mesmith2526 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Hecka Much Magazine you are dead on with the subjective element impacting much of society, those with the persistent drive (will) to push for that change often resulting to the change that’s subjectively seen as good to them.
      Sincerity has becomes rare commodity, largely being the result of true sincerity involves individuals exposing themselves to their own vulnerabilities.
      Ahh, I was curious if you would mention God or the Holy Spirit.
      If you’re familiar with the Golden Rule, originally taught from Jesus ministry, during His time on earth; it was also referred to by Paul, which he described as being the foundation or the essence of the law.
      “For you, my brothers, were called to freedom; only do not let your freedom become an opportunity for the sinful nature (worldliness, selfishness), but through love serve and seek the best for one another. For the whole Law [concerning human relationships] is fulfilled in one precept, “Y OU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF [that is, you shall have an unselfish concern for others and do things for their benefit].” But if you bite and devour one another [in bickering and strife], watch out that you [along with your entire fellowship] are not consumed by one another.”
      ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:13-15‬ ‭AMP‬‬
      www.bible.com/1588/gal.5.13-15.amp
      All sin and systemic issues within society are all derived from selfishness, or failure to implement the Golden Rule into the laws that are made.
      If the Golden Rule is utilized, it ultimately allows for laws to be instituted and enforced with true objectivity, thus nullifying the ability of clever attorneys the ability to conjure creative solutions to meet the subjective needs of their client.

      I can pretty much guarantee you that as bad as you may feel about the fact they got bailed out after causing the mess in the first place, you would be in a much worse position today if they didn’t.

    Marcus, I was convicted in Federal court of Conspiracy to commit copyright infringement in one of the largest software piracy cases in history called Operation Bandwidth. The FBI, in its typical manner, came after me, even though when the Millennium Piracy act became law in 2000, I advised the cracking group I had founded years earlier, and had left, to disband and cease all activities. Because I didn't and wasn't willing to turn them in, I was indicted for conspiracy. Strangely, I was never arrested, and the indictment was actually just mailed to me. Several years later, I was convicted, given no prison time or fines and even the court costs were waived. The FBI and the government made an example of me as well, and today I am a federal felon who has lost the right to own a gun. Other than that, and the waste of my time, the conviction has had zero effect on my life. It was stressful, of course, but it certainly was not about justice or the law. It was just about publicity for the government and making an example to intimidate anyone else who might consider software piracy. The government spent a fortune of taxpayer money on the case and not one of the 21 people indicted in Operation Bandwidth spent a minute in prison. www.justice.gov/archive/criminal/cybercrime/press-releases/2002/bandwidth.htm (BTW, the government even spelled my name wrong.)
