These drives were not accessible by the network except for the backup process. If data needed to be recovered, it was first accessed by an independent user who could copy the drives to another computer for decryption and recovery, but the backups never touched the network. I am sure things have gotten easier now, but having a two physical drives in secure locations struck me as a good idea.

Everyone pays for corruption too but politicians get out in 2-3 years. Maybe apply the logic everywhere? Good documentary! Stay clean and you'll sleep well people

I love this Investigative show ❤
I😁 just live playing these machines-ah
The last company should of sent the FBI a bottle of best champagne
He could have used his expertise and his talent positively but instead he uses it selfishly and for criminal activity. So sad
He could of been living the high life if he wouldn't of been so greedy.
This is insane.
Yes it is because it's obviously one big psyop carried out by the FBI and it's affiliates.

Nice job with the investigation from the USA.
And their criminal justice system is better than ours. 🇺🇸 20 years vs 🇨🇦 7 years

Poor guy. Everyone is so mean.
No way a hacker could be that fit!
Too MSM for me guys...telling a story is more important than telling the story.

Is he also proud for using Hotmail and Gmail?

We cry that hacking is terrible but when people live in poverty and struggle, is life!!We value money/possessions over everyday people..Who is the actually victim I sometimes wonder where will we end up as people🧐
Check out Luke 16:19-31 The answer Jesus gives is pretty clear to me.
Good awareness raising.
I praise God and pray for all those that work for Justice and Truth.

Fifth Estate - Can you guys cover issues with illegal basements all over GTA and Canada, how home owners rent basements and put people at risk of LIFE and make lots of money !!!
The government is encouraging citizens of Quebec to host basement dwellers to fight off the rent crisis😅
Shocking
18:34 dude has the same eyes as Mr. Robot lmao
Backups are essential yes but what else is important in this story? Why do hackers do this? $$$ How much money did the companies making COVID vaccines make? Who are the next generation of hackers? What will their motivation be? Why is critical infrastructure becoming more reliant on the internet? etc etc etc.
Not frozen hacked is the right word.
