@lurefishingfromtheshore-gr8270 yes, I got the swell pro 3 and took some European course to fly it around legaly and its insured as well. I have to catch up again with with. It has two different cams with gamble. The 4K cam works without the fishing release grip. I want to try it with some lures out on the sand banks. Alone its difficult but not impossible. Once you loose sight of it you can use goggles to fly it and an air space observer to search for dangerous stuff coming around.

Had great success on the shad last autumn swells here in Cornwall using the original todos rod,,,, now need to get the expanse ls for quieter days.. cannot ever see me going back to UK standard gear when I've fished with the longer rods in the Samson range. All part of the learning experience, I guess. So winning one of these lures would leave me with a dilemma, as might be too scared to cast it!!! 😬 COMP.
Keep at it and I work my lures either on the surface or just under, no need to work deep in most places and that way you very rarely get snagged! Lures like Enticer I have never lost
I wonder if I used these big lures in Ireland on heavier swell would it up my chances of getting bigger fish. Especially in County Clare in the Atlantic. It's a rugged coastline. Nice fishing 👍
Amazing video Grant, I'm struggling to adjust to Portuguese Bassing, based in the Sesimbra area, I'm finding it difficult to find a consistent area despite some catches to 6.5lbs....still plugging away though 😊 COMP
Thanks, Fishing for bass in Portugal is like that, very inconsistent a good spot can then go dead for months so keep moving about would be my advice, good luck

The last week was amazing, got 10 bass in one evening, unfortunately biggest one just 55cm landed :) lost few bigger fish. This week with Irish 20c heatwave is very slow bass wise.
Thinking of having a holiday in Portugal in August, been looking at the Algarve, would mind a few hours out for Bass two or three times during the week, probably need to purchase a travel lure rod, doubt I'd be able to take my 8ft Savage rod, got a load of plugs I can take, got a few of the Patchinko lures, i think the lures I got can catch its just the areas of where to fish, any advice would be welcome 😊

Normally I use very grippy rubbery boots like cut off wellies. Im still testing studs as ive previously not got on with them
