Funny how god doesn't know the exact number and uses "or more" just like some human from the 7th century who has no methode of determining the exact numbers would.

One hundred thousand is mentioned in Surat As-Saafat verse 147

And We sent him to [his people of] a hundred thousand or more.

@@Finnegan-s-cakeyeah, why?
@@Finnegan-s-cake no nobody knew back then, the concept of million , billion etc didnt exist, algebra is also a fairly recent discovery (invention? up to you) invened in the 9th century by an arabic man called Muhammed Al-Khawarzmi (if it sounds familliar its because alkhawarizmi is the arabic word for "algorithm", which was named after him)
In the Maghreb we use the Arabic numerals, most of the Maghrebians find it difficult to read the Hindu Numerals since they're nearly never exposed to them
And the Arabic numbers were introduced to Italy by traders from North Africa
We use the Arabic numerals sometimes here in saudi arabia
Because the so called ‘Arabic numbers ‘ were invented in the Maghreb by a Moroccan

Hindu numerals is a misnomer. There is western arabic and eastern arabic. Western Arabic uses 1234567890 and eastern Arabic uses ١٢٣٤٥٦٧٨٩٠
I'm a little confused by the narrative. The original Hindu numerals were still a little different to those used in 'Hindu numerals' shown in this video, which seem to be the script used in more Eastern Arabic nations, to my knowledge. So there was clearly some evaluation and adaptation that occurred in the Arab world already. In fact this is why numbers used in devanagari (Hindi-style writing scripts) are distinct, having evolved from this common ancestor. Furthermore there is little-to-no evidence suggesting that the numbers more commonly in the world today originate from the angles of their forms, and looking at historical evolutions of the ways these numbers were written seems concurrent with this (of course you can make any number look sufficiently stylised to match this narrative). Nonetheless, they did mostly enter Europe through Andalusia. Finally, it is worth noting that the symbol for 0 already existed in the original Hindu numbers, and was carried into the commonly-used number system in the Arab world (indentical to the dot used today). Though this did also evolve into the 0.
edit: typos
You forgot that in ancient times indians use bramhi script that eventually evolved into devnagri and 0 as symbol is used in ancient times most of thd indian mathematicians used it the symbol is more like had spiritual roots like 0 represents endless cycle

I had no idea about the angles😮. Thanks very much.
100.000 is the number of the people who the prophet Yunus sent to.
قال الله تعالى: (و أرسلناه إلى مئة ألف أو يزيدون)
I always wondered why Arabic numerals were not found in Arabic text, but in europeans texts. I could see some resemblance in the indian and indo-arabic numerals in the mushaf and the arabic texts. Now, the whole picture becomes very clear. Thank you for solving this mystery for me.
I don't agree with him, North Africans never use hindi symbole ., and the Arabic number introduced to Italy by the traders. It's obvious he doesn't know about this subject
@@Sharp-Knife You are absolutely right. These numerals were spread by the merchants as they needed arithmetics most of all other groups like priests or warriors, etc and they used Eurasian runes as the basics for that. About that in the video on my channel.
In lots of Warsh musahif you find the original Arabic numbers.
@@user-ms9wd4ws4z What century do the Warsh Musahif belong to?
It’s because they are not really Arabic in the first place they were Persian and a lot of Persian science and discoveries leaked into Europe…. By Alexander
brother, i found you video really educational and interesting. but i think there are some inaccuracies in your video.
0:29 the hindu-arabic numerals refer to the modern "1234567890" numbers. the correct term is eastern arabic numerals
4:30 that one is just a theory at best. also the only relation that remains between al-khwarizmi's numbers and our modern numbers is that they're both 10 digits. i would really like to show you how the numbers evolved but i assume that comments with links are filtered.
5:53 the numbers were never angled. they were mostly curvy.

The Maya had a system that didn't have the problems of the Roman System. The zero was a sea shell, one through four were dots (where four was four dots). Five was a horizontal straight lines. The number 13 was represented by 3 dots on top of two straight lines. The zero was a sea shell very large numbers could take a while to represent. Four hundred was a dot a clamshell a gap and a clamshell. The number 2000 was represented as 5 x 400 a straight line, a gap a shell a gap and a shell.

There is an earlier rendition of the Hindu numbering system that more closely follows the formation of the European numerals (and is unrelated to the supposed idea of angle counting).
One to three are identical to European numerals as are seven and nine. Four, five, six and eight are significantly different however.
The western Arabic and Eastern Arabic are significantly different from each other.
Thanks 4 ur explanation, and was hoping u explain the origin of Quran and how they're compiled into like we seen today.

Thank you for this video, but the Arabic numerals found their way to Europe by Fibonacci who studied in Bejaia-Algeria (Bougie that time, which means candle in french due to its influence on Europe) in the 12th century and brought back these symbols to Italy and from there they spread all over Europe
I definelitly want an abjad miracle series. Like the one in Alaq 8, giving the pi (the word "turn back" is 314 and the full verse is 628) or the first 3 verse of the surah Tur being 1982 which talks about thw book written in pages, there is a barnabas gospe found in 1982 in Turkey, Sakarya.

Ne alakası var, lan, Musa?
From Wikipedia -
Pingala (c. 3rd or 2nd century BC), a Sanskrit prosody scholar, used binary numbers in the form of short and long syllables (the latter equal in length to two short syllables), a notation similar to Morse code. Pingala used the Sanskrit word śūnya explicitly to refer to zero.
The concept of zero as a written digit in the decimal place value notation was developed in India.
but that's not a digit. It's a word.

@@mohamedouali1974 Perhaps... we won't know until we see what he has to say
No, it is shirk. Luckily he didn’t suggest that there were any, because there couldn’t be. This is immediately obvious when you take into account that the ordering of the letters in Arabic (and what letters there are) as well as their assigned values is something completely arbitrary.
It was us who wrote down our abjad and then ordered the letters and re-ordered them many times, it wasn’t told to the Arabs by Allah, it’s made up. If you try to make the same system today with the current order of the letters you will get completely different values, it’s meaningless.
I remember 1000 , as the number mentioned when discussing the term of dawah of Prophet Nuh Alaihisalam. It came like , 1000 and 50 less. Which means , 950 years , he did dawah
Ma sha Allah
Interesting. Hindu and number of angles were new. I recall seeing your symbol for three in a variant with only two horizontal squiggles for two. I think. It was in Kuwait in 1980, so I might have it wrong. Thank you.
I'd love to learn anything you are teaching us. I've never met anything here without evidence.

محتوى جميل , على الرغم من كوني عربي استفدت . شكرا
I'm very skeptical about the story that our numbers are based on counting angles. I've never seen a "9" written with that extra curl that makes the angle counting work. And the "1" and "9" of the Hindu numerals you show already look like our 1 and 9. (But then again, the 5 and 6 look like our 0 and 7.)
Amazing 👍, yes please and share knowledge about number 19 in the Quran .
