As salam aleykoum, I would recommend Sheikh Basfar. His recitation goes straight to the point, I can clearly distinguish tajweed rules being applied when I listen to him, he does not exaggerate and he has a beautiful voice. Very very good for people learning tajweed.
I appreciate the video, it helps me much. As for the number 5, I found it normal for an imam to forget sometimes in his recitation one word or mistakes. One is for us as human being and second is the pressure for an imam to recite in front of everyone.
Alhamdulillah. Remember, the purpose of this video is not to blame some reciters or being smarter than them. Yet, the purpose is to push to increase our skill of tajweed before we listen and imitate their recitation. Basically we are a human being that can make a mistake. SubhanaAllah.
@@alhaq1660 I've just heard Omar Hisyam Arabi, based on the lesson from video above it can not be imitate. Because Omar is singing rather than recite the Qur'an.

I tried slow Egyptians, popular imams from the Gulf, Mishary, people like Islam Sobhi, Raad Al Kurdi and Haithm alDokhin but I kept coming back to Sheikh al-Dossary as I feel it’s easy for me to memorise with his recordings. I have taken note of point number 1 you made in this video as I am susceptible to this once in a blue moon.
I’m usually very hesitant in learning advanced islamic sciences from youtube. I am of student of qiraat and tajweed. But after watching multiple videos from this channel I trust this channel’s knowledge.
@@yomomma9687 science has many dictionary meanings, including the broader sense -- systematic knowledge of any kind that have been developed within the intellectual tradition. BUT If you mean *strictly* scientific method, where the emphasis is on empirical evidence and a systematic approach to understanding the natural world, THEN many academic disciplines such as jurisprudence are considered an academic and intellectual discipline rather than a natural or empirical science. In defense of the criticised reciters, the errors they made were during salat recitation. There's a clear difference between a recitation done on salat and a recitation deliberately recorded in the studio for people to use in learning. Long ago, my sheikh warned us against relying on salat recitations like those of Sheikh Sudais and Sheikh Shuraim etc. You may ask, so why upload them if they're not guaranteed to be free from errors? Sheikh Hussary's Recitation is best for those who want to learn tajweed.
True, he is second to none.
Also he recorded the whole Quran with Hafs (twice -a bit different), Warsh, Doory, Qalon narrations, he also has the Mua'lem Mushaf (Teaching version)

Definitely.
I listen to Abdur Rashid sufi. Very clear, simple and stops at places this channel recommended. Allahu a'lam.
Thank you so much for the recommendation
Jezakellah , it's a good correction and advice in the way of politeness

Yet, the purpose is to push to increase our skill of tajweed before we listen and imitate their recitation.
Basically we are a human being that can make a mistake.

Pls I am imitating Sheikh Omar Hisham Arabi. Pls is he recommended?
@@alhaq1660 I've just heard Omar Hisyam Arabi, based on the lesson from video above it can not be imitate. Because Omar is singing rather than recite the Qur'an.

I’m usually very hesitant in learning advanced islamic sciences from youtube. I am of student of qiraat and tajweed. But after watching multiple videos from this channel I trust this channel’s knowledge.
There's no such thing as Islamic "sciences". You can't just use the word "science" for anything you like
@@yomomma9687 science has many dictionary meanings, including the broader sense -- systematic knowledge of any kind that have been developed within the intellectual tradition. These include disciplines such as theology (kalam), jurisprudence (fiqh), philosophy (falsafa), grammar (nahw), rhetoric (balagha), and more. BUT If you mean *strictly* scientific method, where the emphasis is on empirical evidence and a systematic approach to understanding the natural world, THEN many academic disciplines such as jurisprudence are considered an academic and intellectual discipline rather than a natural or empirical science. But I don't expect much from "yomomma" account, so yeah
@@yomomma9687What do you mean ? Of course deen is science, in fact it is the only exact science that actually exist.
@@yomomma9687 It seems like your materialistic ego blinds your ignorance. Trying to criticize Islam especially when it is the root of many sciences and mathematics isn’t very sensible.
Here are two definitions from Oxford Languages Dictionary:
1.
a systematically organized body of knowledge on a particular subject.
"the science of criminology".
2.

As for reciters are concerned, I think that most of those reciters can be listened for the sake of listening because most of them recite very quickly. However, if your goal is to learn, I would recommend both Sheikh Al-Huthaifi and Shaikh Mohammed Ayoub: slow pace, no voice effects, etc.

Alhamdulilah… I love Mishary's qira'at too!
I never understood the appeal, he puts a lot of unnecessary additional effort that sounds off to me. Obviously his tajweed would be on point we are talking beyond that, good tajweed is foundational beginner level

If the errors aren't major errors then it's not something to be obsessed about so far you have the requisite knowledge to identify and avoid the errors.
May Allah reward the creator(s) of this video with goodness in both worlds and make us amongst the people of His Word. Aameen.
