People with a correct mind will work on some project with a team leader like Baki or Hermeticlock, as for toxic players, you'll always have a bastard followed by followers who don't question his/her way to think until they got sick of the guy/girl, like Jarret.
That's paradoxal, but even in real world, the one claiming the world needs no rule are trying to make people respect their own rules and become some sort of leaders or tyrans. the actual rules just don't match theirs.

Oh, same here. When I first popped into check out the legendary 2b2t that i never really paid attention to, i didn't expect to find an entire geopolitical history.
That moment when a Minecraft server has an intense geopolitical history.

I’ve only recently started being fascinated by 2b2t history.
Isn’t the ‘Queue time’ the real king of 2b2t, it’s shaped the very culture, wars and noob suppression throughout 2b2ts history from what I see?
Yeah actually I never thought of it that way. Although, I would say that the killing of new players was also influenced by the facepunch republic's defeat back in the early days, after an influx of players from 4chan brought their toxicity to the server, killing off the only sort of organized government.
That’s more so an environmental factor, or a patron deity at most. The Greeks were shaped by living by a lot of large bodies of water, so you could say that the sea was the true king of Greeks.

What’s funny is a couple of years ago I joined 2b2t without any real knowledge of Minecraft or the server itself. I remember just seeing little to no people and all of the land being grieved 😂. Honestly I don’t even think i knew the name of the server back then. I was really clueless about the whole server in general. Looking back, I wished I sticked around for longer but I’m glad these types of videos are on youtube helping me understand what i could’ve been doing back then 😂😭

He’s more comparing him to iTristan, who also had backdoor access but used it to locate and grief bases (see “The Day 2b2t Almost Died” on this channel for the full explanation). Pyrobyte, on the other hand, pretty much just hacked in a bunch of items at various points.
iTristan was chaotic evil, Pyrobyte was lawful neutral.
