you dont need to buy, just make friends on other servers and if you are lucky they may be rich on 2b and lend you a few kits, thats how i started out my time on 2b, i even still have my first kit somewhere in my stash
I...really would have preferred you to do several purchases, since that would have actually gotten a better read of the average shop. This one wasn't a scam, but how often is that the case if you choose random shops? What are good warning signs vs signs of a trustworthy shop? While I don't play on the server myself that seems much more useful to prospective buyers than just trying once and ending the video. Especially since all of the description and titles indicate you went to multiple shops when in fact you only went to one.

I remember thinking, "Oh this won't be so bad, I'll just spawn in, get some food and wood and I'll be set..." ...Boy was I wrong. I was killed, repeatedly. Over and over and over. Needless to say that I was inexperienced, a total noob at PvP. I had bought Minecraft in 2011 and was used to playing on my own. Now, I had joined a server, where mayhem spreads throughout the land and I couldn''t trust anybody. When I respawned again, I kept my head low, I didn't talk to anyone, didn't base, just kept walking until I hit the Melon Highway. Being a noob, finding food on 2b2t is like finding diamonds. I stashed as much as I could. Someone was messaging me in chat, He was telling me to use F3 to find the Z Highway, so I did. I traveled through many portals, walked thousands of blocks. I finally hit 30k blocks when I'd stopped my travel from spawn. I created a moderatly large base and called it: "The Institute Project". I wanted to create a place where new players like me could be welcomed and cared for. And that was the biggest mistake I could've ever made. One day, while I was manufacturing gapples, a certain player's name kept coming up in chat. "Popbob". I thought his name was pretty funny and I just kept on with expanding the Institute Project. Until the day he found me. I was out, sat in a dungeon I had carved out to farm XP. I had Protection IV everything, a Sharpness III, Fire Aspect II sword. I was just farming Skeletons when I see my health bar shoot from Max Health to 5 health, I turn around to see the words Popbob. I try to eat one of my god apples but it was too late. After, he destroyed my bed and I was taken back to spawn. After this, I ragequit, and I have only been on the server a few times since. I hope my story was at the least interesting to you.
