i think if you have a proxy like this, its not too hard to modify it to work with multiple accounts on 2b, so everything you build is built on multiple locations at the same time
Perhaps not quite. At that distance you may be able to measure the imperfections of floating point numbers to figure out where you are. Circumventing this would require re-writing the code of the client completely to obfuscate the actual position of the player. He was the original founder with his buddy D_Loaded but just got so sick of all the Minecraft fanatics that had flooded the Masons that he wanted to end them for good by destroying their last known base, Donfeur 18. The Masons' ideologies of Minecraft haven't changed it would seem, using a proxy to fully disguise their base as somewhere else, sheesh, in the words of FitMc, "It's just a block game!".
I wonder if it would be possible to essentially have a single player control two proxy accounts from the proxy server at the same time That way they'd be building the same base in two different locations on 2b2t
That's actually a good idea! But you would have to think about some edge cases, for example if a mob is there, it would be just at one base. Or if something gets griefed or destroyed by flame, explosion or other random situations that cause the bases to be out of sync
@@whythosenames Yeah, you'd also basically need the near exact starting environment and starting resources to prevent issues Maybe having some of those baritone ai / bot accounts to farm stuff and keep monitor of stock would help with that resource issue to prevent it from ever coming out of sync Could also be used to interact with mobs for the gathering of resources such as wool from sheep, however the players on the proxy server just wouldn't be able to
Honestly the tech behind this was, as you said, pure genius. And it almost worked, only reason it didn't was cus of messy handling and foul play. So really, as far as we know the system's still full proof! Well, nothing's full proof, and griefers always find a but. Making a name of yourself through infamy is just as cool as through good. At the end of the day both are a waste of time on a block game, but still. It’s not evil it’s just what people enjoy to do
2b2t is an anarchy server griefing is its main thing
This is how Cartels works
This reminds me of a lesson in cybersecurity I once had where the lecturer explained that no matter how secure and impenetrable your defences are, the weakest link will always be the humans that are in charge of those defences.
I know this guy is friends with FitMC but Sal's videos are so much better in every way. There's just some sort of touch that Sal puts in these that make them great. Wish he'd upload more but that would probably conflict with his process.

"OMG I just blew up this guys work I’m so cool"
pretty much 😂 im so cool for that tbh
100% those griefer guys are reddit/4chan neckbeards that never touched grass
@@user-10021 umad 🤣
the guys who got their base griefed were protecting a known pedophile, just saying
@@user-10021 they are actually people who hate child groomers the whole reason it was leaked was because all the spawnmasons defended and supported child grooming
It's really insane build it's like finding the needle in haystack
My jaw dropped when you said that Storm Surge was brought on to grief it. I can't believe AVO's still around doin' their same ol' schtick
the fact that there are dedicated "griefing groups" giving themselves names and all, makes me question humanity all over again
It’s a block game chill
if ur gonna get mad at griefing groups why even play or watch 2b2t content? thats the whole point
@@yayayayayaya8140 i do not play on smps, because i do not enjoy either griefing, nor getting griefed. also i didnt say i was mad, people may enjoy whatever they like, doesnt bother me. and for the watching part, i can watch whatever i like, what the hell ? why cant i inform myself about stuff without... consuming it ?
the only thing my comment shall reflect is my misunderstanding of the joy derived from griefing other players. thats just beyond me, but again, if people enjoy it, all power to them.
@@s0resucks don't back down. you said nothing wrong. people just want to rationalize their bad behaviour
@@911WASanINSIDEjob420 How is it bad behavior? Builders know they're on an anarchy server. If they didn't want their things to be targeted, they wouldn't play on such a server. Half the fun of building on an anarchy server is knowing someone can destroy it at any point - seeing how long your build can last.
It's crazy to think that somewhere out there in 2b2t there is just a massive base that will never be found because those people just built like 3mil blocks from spawn and covered their tracks and just don't tell anyone about it.
It took me a min to realise what ”unfindale” meant lol
Storm Surge joining in on the grief is akin to David Brent's cameo on The Office USA.
The dedication they have to both griefing and preventing bases from getting griefed...
Shut up, bot
I’m a total noob of Minecraft to the point where at the 7 minute mark I realized the avatar you were using was actually you instead of B-roll 🤦♂️ I love this video. For the first time in all the years since Minecraft has been out, you gave me an understanding that it’s a bunch of people coming together on one infinite map. Sounds so cool, I think I’ll check Minecraft out now :) btw a lot of terms, made no sense to me. Like b2bt, hopefully I can look back at this video when I’m more experienced and appreciate it a lot more when I know better
2b2t (abbreviation of 2 builders 2 tools) is simply the name of the server he was playing on. just a heads up, this is not the typical minecraft server, its an anarchy server where there are pretty much no rules, hacking and exploting are expected and lets just say the chat is "an experience".
It is not one map. It is one server in the video. Most people play on their own in there own servers.
It’s been a year since I posted this and have not played Minecraft once. Safe to say I probably won’t play it again
Awesome base to be a guest of, wish I got to build more there.
Back at it again with 2b content man
6:04 That's the Tomb of Raithwall music from Final Fantasy 12, very nice choice!
I was looking if someone else noticed😂 best game ever made
Hearing the name "Storm Surge" involved with Minecraft Griefing was a blast from the past.
it's insane that those such interesting and exiting stories exit due to a block game. no other game have those as far as I know..
good video as usual!
STORM SURGE????? Please, please let there be a Team Avolition upload. A Team Avolition video delivering griefing-style justice would be so nostalgic
i still sometimes get blown away by what people build on 2b2t its just so incredible damn
Really liking the attac on tarir theme from gw2 at 7:20
Loved that Hollow Knight music at the beginning! Makes me want to go back and finish it
you should, banger game
This just prove minecraft is such complex and amazing game with infinity possibility
this is why physical security is just as important as every other security component in a network
dude i don't even play on 2b2t and even my base is more than a million blocks out lmfao, can't believe how close theirs was to spawn
great video :)
They're called the SPAWNmasons for a reason I guess. 😂
@@SalC1 lmao true
@@kurtisvandermiller4507 cap, minecraft worlds only go 30 million blocks out
i think if you have a proxy like this, its not too hard to modify it to work with multiple accounts on 2b, so everything you build is built on multiple locations at the same time
You could record every action taken through the proxy, and then replay the entire construction via bots later too maybe?
well this shows you that no matter how many new revolutionising ideas you come up with, you still have to follow the well-known tips aswell.
The fact you can find a base just by the ROTATION OF THE BLOCKS is insane. 2b2t players are a different breed, or maybe I’m just a noob.
I came here after seeing the Team AVO vid, crazy to see Storm_Surge join in on this. Maximum nostalgia
Biggest plot twist: it was a fake decoy sky mason base and the real one still exists somewhere
Me having two tests tomorrow:yea what a good way to spend my time.
That's insane, i never thought they would find the unfindale base
The engineers who set up the proxy thought of everything. I'm amazed. Great work programming it as well.
Perhaps not quite. At that distance you may be able to measure the imperfections of floating point numbers to figure out where you are. Circumventing this would require re-writing the code of the client completely to obfuscate the actual position of the player. Doable, and not really all that difficult, but I'd be surprised if they actually did it.
I love hearing hollow knight music in completely unrelated videos hollow knight music is so good it reached the ranks of “IDK what that game is but I’m gonna use it’s music”
Finally a video. I can finally get updated again
Always letting anything aside when you download something.
So thanks!
THE KING HAS RETURNED
i always find these videos so entertaining and funny because its crazy to me how huge the minecraft community is lmaooo
here i am thinking playing solo on survival is cool, and then there are ppl like this with whole ass lore LMAOO
i love it
The situation at 2b2t is similar to the novel The Three-Body Problem, when the moment your civilization's coordination is leaked, you are doomed.
Appreciate u mentioning the dark forest theory. The thought never crossed my mind and the similarities are insane, 2b2t is practically a dark forest universe.
your security is only as strong as its weakest link, which most of the case is human
I'm glad there's someone making these kind of 2b2t videos without saying "the oldest anarchy server in minecraft" every 2 minutes. Great video
Despite all means of jamming a person's instruments in preventing it to be found, they still couldn't jam the most important part, the human eyes, which well is funny, to say the least, and the classic betrayal in 2b2t.
I respect you so much for putting "attack on tarir" from gw2 in your videos, your like one of the only people who uses guild wars 2 music and I respect the hell out of it!
Kinda shows that Hermetilock's plan to finally end the Spawn Masons unfortunately failed.
I wonder if it would be possible to essentially have a single player control two proxy accounts from the proxy server at the same time
That way they'd be building the same base in two different locations on 2b2t
That's actually a good idea! But you would have to think about some edge cases, for example if a mob is there, it would be just at one base. Or if something gets griefed or destroyed by flame, explosion or other random situations that cause the bases to be out of sync
@@whythosenames Yeah, you'd also basically need the near exact starting environment and starting resources to prevent issues
Maybe having some of those baritone ai / bot accounts to farm stuff and keep monitor of stock would help with that resource issue to prevent it from ever coming out of sync
Could also be used to interact with mobs for the gathering of resources such as wool from sheep, however the players on the proxy server just wouldn't be able to
The biggest known base for now , i wonder what else is out there...
How Griefers on 2b2t feel like "Im gonna rip you apart." finding out it was a friends base "I want to apologize."
Honestly the tech behind this was, as you said, pure genius. And it almost worked, only reason it didn't was cus of messy handling and foul play. So really, as far as we know the system's still full proof! Well, nothing's full proof, and griefers always find a but. But still, randomizing and changing everything down to bedrock patterns and block rotations is awesome. They clearly thought through everything they could. Are clouds disabled too? In all of the pre-leak footage I saw there were no clouds, and they can be used to reverse engineer coordinates sometimes too.
Absolutely love use of Hollow Knight ost. Recognized it immediately
I don't understand griefers
me neither so dumb how people want to just destroy what others put hours into making, plus it just looks so sick they must get enjoyment out of it or something
I suggest ask jared2013.
It's like post nut clarity to them.
It gets them aroused
If youre worried about griefers then 2b2t isnt the server for you.
7:00 Is this referring to the inside job in your new video?
The part where you said AVO was at the grief hit me like a truck, what year is it

It literally gave me a knot in my stomach to hear that some guy took 30 hours of his life to grief a Minecraft base. It made me feel sad for him. The world shines a little less knowing there are people who think like that. What a sad life they must lead

the fact that team avolition and the fifth column took them so long it just show how big the base was
