That car of Billy's is going to be a 1st class rig. I could watch Brad work all day he makes every move count some guys make me feel sea sick because they are running around in circles but watching Brad you can tell he's focused on what he's doing. Some people just make things look so easy. Thanks for the video guys.
I love stealing your knowledge, I mean learning from you guys lol. While you're explaining, I'm pausing and looking at everything, to see how you guys do things. Thanks for sharing tech info. It helps us owner builders a lot. My welds aren't as pretty, but they pass for a nuke plant, so I guess they'll be ok for racing. Video's seem to get better and better. The podcast with Bill was fire. Thanks for all you guys do.
The videos are always enjoyable to watch. You guys are always smiling and having a great time. Love to see the excitement in Brad face as he’s talking about and installing those new struts! It reminds me of when you have a new born child and you’re excited to show them off to your friends and family! You guys are awesome! See you in a couple Mondays!
Seems at least 3 big Camaro builds are going on in TH-cam land; Billy, Garrett & Val (Steve). Hope they get the opportunity to play together & do some collaboration with them & their builders.
@@G6E666Garrett's car is essentially a promod. Altered wheel base, full tube chassis, Hemi. I'm not talking shit, but, Cleeters motor quite possibly exceeded the cost of what Billy will end up paying for his total build out(minus the price of the original roller) However, they are two different platforms, and are meant for two polar opposite driving surfaces. Personally, I prefer Billy's Camaro. Its closer to a street car. I love nothing more than 9ish second Street car that you can drive to the track, laydown a few passes for at a TNT, and then drive it home!
@@robertbailey3057Billy’s car is getting a 25.3 with a funny car hoop lol. He’s wanting this to be his low 4 sec car in the 8th mile so street car is not what this Camaro will be. Steve and Val’s car will definitely have thousands of street miles though.
I think there’s a couple more but those are the main ones for sure. Justin Swanstrom I think just finished his, CJRC has kinda started on theirs, and I’m probably missing a couple.
Thank you all for the great entertainment!!! Wish I had tv like this when I was a kid, I would have had a pro mod built in my dad’s shop. Brad you’re tripping me out with this facial hair!!!!
Cavitation and Emulsion are the terms you are looking for when explaining the remote reservoir’s. The remote reservoir’s also allows for a shorter overall package since the tubes don’t house both the oil and nitrogen like an emulsion shock does.
Very well done and said. You guys do beautiful work! You can tell you guys work great together and Billy is going to be impressed keep it up love you guys
You guys should try som loctite SF 7649thread primer, all bolts & nuts come with an oily coating on them. If you spray some 7649 primer on them before you put the loctite on them then the hardware will not back out, use wit the blue 242 only not the red 271 because it the red will not come apart unless you heat it with a torch. When I built Military Cranes for Grove this was a must and a lot of people really don’t know about the 7649 primer. I still get mine through Grainger.
Omg that wing got my pants wet! You better build up a bunch of stock on them because you're going to sell a shit ton of them I'm ordering two myself and I'm thinking of getting another just to hang on my shop wall!
If you build your housings, why not make a over lap space for the oring. Just a half inch area where the grove is twice as wide so you overlap the oring and get a complete seal
So glad I watched this video.. I've actually been having a problem with a very very slight drip where I park my fox body and I'm almost positive after watching this it's because I put the o-ring starting at the bottom😂 smh... At least I know why it might be happening now
Love all the hard work you guys do! When is the next time for Charlie making passes? Don’t know about inside, outside of washers, but I’m 76 willing to learn!
From brads description of what all mencer had to do to get the struts to work sounds like Jason better be putting more than a family picture in marks Christmas card this year
It would be so awesome to work at a place like Tin Soldier race cars. If I didn't live so far away 😪 just to be able to be paid to absorb all the awesome things and knowledge being thrown around you❤
10:50 Cummins uses same set up on some of their engine front covers, the groove is twice the width at the top for maybe 3/4 inch or so if I remember so the o-ring can have some overlap instead of butting the ends
You should put your logo, on every panel, just in case. If the rules change back to,firewalls, and frame rails,it'll be a bracket car. You put out quality work, you have got lucky with employees. It seems like everybody is happy. Doing prefab parts, should be the ticket all around. If you could get on a shelf at Jegs,or a speedshop, they'd probably move.
studs or bolts same I would not want a nut inside the rear end if one comes loose then it will destroy your rear gear and possible housing studs just make it easier to slide the 3rd member on
It drives me totally bananas when I see someone installing washers upside-down or all willy-nilly. The absolute worst though, is when some asshat uses the next size bigger washer on a bolt, so it sticks out way too far and sits all cockeyed!
Mannnn, simplest shit can drive me crazy just like installing oversized industrial nuts on backwards….they have letters sticking out (like forged into the face of the nut) and guys just grab them and throw them on galling the hell out of the metal when they tighten them up
Can you explain the recommend suspension geometry you’re looking for? Example how do you know were the Strut/coil over top mount goes and what angle you want them ( perpendicular, angled towards engine or away, angled to firewall or forward as examples) thanks
A couple video's ago, he explained how they set caster camber, before they weld the strut mounts. You'll get some of the info you're looking for there.
On the axles, do you tack weld the wedding rings? I used to have a customer that requested us to tack weld the wedding rings on his Pro Stock. Just curious.
I am so happy for Billy to have a car that can keep up with his drive to win this car is going to be a game changer for SRC.
@mattfricks5278 Yeah , next year, it will be Proline Hemi and a fuel tech. Same story different guy. I like when they stay true. Hopefully he will👍👍🇺🇲

I’m the circle runner-Jason 😂
Loved the voice over of the head engineer during the front suspension install. Could pass as a 6 year old! Nice work😂
Damn that Henson engine looks beautiful 😍

What’s even cooler is they’re all completely different ones a no prep car ones a full blown radial car and the others a drag and drive car

The 2 stokes gets me every time I just start laughing when I see 2 strokes in the video
Man the Camaro is just awesome! Those struts look sweet, along with everything else!
Cavitation and Emulsion are the terms you are looking for when explaining the remote reservoir’s. The remote reservoir’s also allows for a shorter overall package since the tubes don’t house both the oil and nitrogen like an emulsion shock does.
i came here from billys channel, watched this video and subscribed, yall do nice work keep making videos, ill watch em fer sure
You guys kick ass but do not get too serious. Love the channel and big ups to being real!
I hope that Henson has improved their quality since the 2010 days
I see bump steer issues. Rack needs to be lower and or the tie rod ends need to come up a lot.
We will do a video when we align it.
Mark better get a bunch of those struts stock built up because those tings are going to sell like hotcakes! I'm ordering two sets of them too!
We are very happy with them. I’m glad we still had the taller ones there so you had the visual.
Great work, and the video with Bill was excellant, need more like that with fellow racers and buisness people involved with motor sports.
Great video,camaro coming along nicely

Omg that wing got my pants wet! You better build up a bunch of stock on them because you're going to sell a shit ton of them I'm ordering two myself and I'm thinking of getting another just to hang on my shop wall!
cavitation is the word you were looking for brad!!lol
Ready to see this car start coming together
If you build your housings, why not make a over lap space for the oring. Just a half inch area where the grove is twice as wide so you overlap the oring and get a complete seal
Man that’s looking good! I wish I could have one built, but I’ll have to stick with my home built car for now.
Awesome video guys!

That Camaro is so cool. My first car was a 68 Camaro.
From brads description of what all mencer had to do to get the struts to work sounds like Jason better be putting more than a family picture in marks Christmas card this year

Thank you! Our primary business is parts manufacturing. Summit keeps a lot of our products in stock.
studs or bolts same I would not want a nut inside the rear end if one comes loose then it will destroy your rear gear and possible housing studs just make it easier to slide the 3rd member on
I’ll bet that 3/4 race cam will run good in that 355 lol
Out here rocking jiu jitsu gear !!
Idk about just black and silver, them gold bands on them brown and Miller hoses look pretty dope.
Yep gold and sometimes red accents are definitely acceptable
I figured 4 link would make a no prep car bullet proof for hooking damn near it lol
I've always been told never do your chassis side wishbone mounts vertically they need to be horizontal
FIRE INTRO
ONE HAND ALWAYS WASHES THE OTHER ONE. MEANING NEW STRUTS ARE A WIN WIN FOR EVERYONE.🎉🎉🤔🙏🏾💪🏾🇺🇲💪🏾✅ =💰
It drives me totally bananas when I see someone installing washers upside-down or all willy-nilly. The absolute worst though, is when some asshat uses the next size bigger washer on a bolt, so it sticks out way too far and sits all cockeyed!

Jay bird representing the Gracie's nice how long has he been doing bjj
Billy wanted to be exclusive now the entire world's hip to his new strategy 😂
The bubbles in the oil? is that cavitation?
How do you guys like your everlast welders
What degree did yall mount those turbos at ?
Jaybird is strong like bull💪🏼🐂
Do you over lap the oring then cut both orings that way its perfect mach
Let’s go tin soldiers hopefully on the home stretch 🫡💪
Workers comp lol. Hate them sledge hammers !!
Does it have 3/4 cam double hump heads own it, That new bullet looks intimidating shewwww "has Billy ran yet" has got himself a serious race car💪😛✌️

4:10 Isn't that just an expensive TV dinner?
Thank you.
