Man I gotta say the way you guys presented yourself at the Christmas tree race sticks in my mind. You were obviously in just about the best place to be that night. The car was ripping and no one except Billy looked close and he hadn’t run what you were running. You could have handled it a million ways. You chose to say “we” instead of “I” and just brought everyone else up to your high tide. I wish everyone acted like that. There ain’t nothing wrong with being a BMF when you are, but being the dude that makes everyone feel some of that too is special. Kudos.
Very well said sir.
@ thanks. Saying it is easy. Doing it takes more. I think about this shop every time I’m driving south out of Cincinnati towards Lexington. Pretty often actually lol.
I loved it when he said ,anytime we park Charlie outside of Kentucky, it's in the winner circle. Or something like that
This right here
Heck Yeah!
Jason…”my goal is to make you way better than I could ever be” to Todd…..a true leader Jason! Love what God has blessed you with!
I'm from Hebron KY I drive by your shop numerous times a day and never knew what top class work goes on there ! Just found the SRC ,Tin soldier ,the old man and ol jimmy dale !!All of you all including family are top class people!!! Keep the videos coming ! All of you are something special!
Watch Lucore Automotive, Adventures with Austin and Miss Midnight Maverick also to get even more top notch entertainment.
All good folks.
Don’t forget Gen2garage
Y’all are killing it on Billy’s car. Going to be a sick ride!!!
Stackin dimes and bending brake lines. Excellent how-to, keep this content coming.
You guys are always in a good mood . What a great bunch of guys to work around
Man you have some talented people working for you! Awesome skills!
Yeah, we’re lucky to have some of the best in the business.
WD-40 is your friend when machining aluminum. Hit your bit occasionally with the WD-40, and the aluminum won't stick to the cutting edge. You can sharpen the step bit pretty easily with a small abrasive wheel. Y'all do awesome work! Love the attention to detail!
Awesome work as always . Billy will love that car WHEN he gets it back . How long does it take , typically to build or rebuild a car like that ???
This is going to be a top notch car when it’s complete for sure
Legitimately jealous of that brake flairing tool. I have the clamp and pray one 😂
Pretty cool that J Bird and Danny at CJRC both do bends same way just go about it a little differently. Both have tons of scrap bends to use for mock up so aren’t wasting material and time and everything turns out great. Love build series stuff. Use the knowledge and tips on my vehicles and in my aerospace job
Another great video highlighting how you can have beautiful work by taking the time to plot out your work. You guys are always fun to watch and be around. May God continue to prosper all of you this year!
Hillbilly built is a lot nicer than it used to be! Great work as usual
Hey Guys, you're a talented bunch of guys! Very nice welding and quality fabrication. Entertaining too. I provided machine shop and welding support in a petroleum research facility for more than 30 years, I ran miles of SS tubing. Just an FYI on a great quality tubing bender. I'd highly recommend picking up a Swagelok bender. Hands down the best bender I've ever used. Not only bends really nicely, the way it's marked you can accurately locate your bends. It has reference lines going L-R or R-L. Some day when I'm down in your neck of the woods, I'd love to drop by. I'm up in the frozen northern Ontario.
Happy Birthday Jason! You guys are the bomb, thank you guys for sharing what you do.
Im Eyeball Fuggin the hell outta that One 👀 Cant wait to stand over this one and watch it make passes. Hope some feelings get hurt this year. Tin Soldier 🔥😎🤙
Very cool to see the progress !!
I think you guys should do more welder type give aways. I know you guys prob dont have alot of time to teach someone how to weld but that would be an awesome opportunity for someone to learn!
It would be cool for Tin Soldier to work with kids fixing to finish high school. That like racing and building race cars. That way, you would be keeping young kids off the streets. And helping them start a very promising career!!
Just the finest craftsmanship!! Great job
Cool 😎 ! Love the finishing details !
Appreciate it, little details make a huge difference!
Brake line bending master

Cool tips with the brake lines
It's always good to have those little tips!
Looking good
Appreciate you!
This is why building a racecar is sooo expensive…. Craftsmanship takes time, and takes time to learn.
That brake line tech tip was exactly what i needed!!!!
Glad that was helpful!
Jason who is building that hard tail motorcycle frame ? I saw it in the background while he was drilling those holes in the tank. It looked like early 40s to 50s Harley frame.
That's a personal project for Jay Bird 🤘
Can you tell me what master cylinder that is aswell as the brake pedal assembly part number?
How about great quality work and some fun. Thanks guys. Stay safe
We appreciate the kind words and try to make the best out of every day!

Great work fellas this car is going to be badass
Jason do you use the main frame rail as a burn down tube to the rear tank? It save alot of 16an hose.
Welds look great turn the cleaning action down on the the welder a little and they would look polished. Very nice work

Isopropal works the best for aluminum ! Cheap and works great and it cleans up nicer, better than ATF !
how much would a cage like this cost in a 3rd gen round about ?
work is great
Do you guys use Nicop for your brake lines. He made that bend look real easy for steel or stainless.
So cool.
Been waiting to see this...great job guys
hey guys use mystic metal mover they make it for aluminum and steel works great
Jason make sure Jay Bird wears safety glasses and unplug the dam grinder when changing the cut off wheel.
The Camaro is gonna look good next to the nova and S 10
Looks great!
Is that a pan head frame on J birds toolbox
Great job guys have a great weekend 🙏❤🏁🇺🇸later
Do you double flare your brake lines? I'm sure you do but its Hard to tell by the vlog.
Wish i could work for you guys that would make my life.
Put a square up next to that stack.....
Are you ever going to finish it ???
Use alum tap magic to drill alum it works great
Must be weird! Building a car that might be your Nemesis! Haha
2:27 looks like Charlie drop in from the ceiling.
That thing going to be out dated by the time y'all get it done lol awesome job
What about a ladder bar set up?
Y’all need to hire a dedicated camera guy! WE WILL WATCH EM!
FIRST! Have a good weekend BOYS!
Fabrication porn at it's finest.
You and your team are artists, thanks for showing us how it's done 👍.
Is that chopper frame a customer project or an employee project
That's a personal project for Jay Bird 🤘
@TinSoldierRacecars ask Jay-Bird if he will either share the progress on here or share his Instagram if he has one.. some of us are into cool harleys and anything that runs & is cool
Use a wax for drilling and grinding or cutting aluminum
Mid video a super cross ad popped up
I thought it was part of the video, lol
WHOOO-HOOOOOO
Who's building the Harley on the jig 🤔
That's a personal project for Jay Bird 🤘
How much more do you have to do to Billy's car since he's moving to Florida he'd probably be pumped to have that down there with him
Him "moving" to FL isn't a permanent thing...
That chassis has a lot of word bars in its t it’s gotta be way heavier then it needs to be
Maybe Billwe will be able to win a few since someone else is building his hot rod!
Just kidding, geez😂😂
Tell Tod, he needs to clean his sheep!
Is the camaro going to be a qtr.mile car?
Hey jay im jay nice to meet you lol😅

Can J bird make brake lines for my car without my car being there 😂
I’ve ordered an Everlast welder, paid in full, back in October….. I’ve still yet to see it. I’m about to do a charge back of $1400 on my card
That’s not cool.
Yea I'd already said give me my money back
That sucks, hope you get it figured out!
When’s it going to be finished cjrc could have built a new one by now
The habits you make out of necessity when doing projects
Think it'll be done for the 2026 season ?
