If you are a fan of the channel, then you probably have seen my Pontiac Firebird reviews (1st generation) as well as my Hot Wheels Elite KARR (Knight Rider) review. I'd figured I would add a "normal" third gen Firebird and due to the nice color combination, decided to get this one.

I've always wanted one of these Greenlight 1989 Pontiac Firebird Trans-am GTA diecast. I have a real 89 GTA. That's beautiful!

Definitely a great looking diecast car I have one but in red I like to get one in black color .one thing is missing the firebird on the hood. when I received mine it was damaged so I had to send it back an have it replaced
I just got the black 89 GTA with the black wheels. I love the third gens.
Are the hinges on the rear hatch plastic as well for that one? Looks good!
Oh man.... I was all excited upon seeing the heading for this video! And then you started going over the car..... lol. As soon as I saw the paint defects on the front bumper and edge of hood, plus the badge being off, I was thinking "here we go". I then noticed the front driver wheel with chipped edge along with loose tire.... How long do you think it'll take for those rear hinges to snap?..... c'mon guys, really. And did their kid paint the dash and shifter?!?!? I'm glad you didn't pay a ton for this. I'd almost be debating send it back or just let my 3yr old son play with it... Lol!
I know. I thought about sending it back but sometimes I just take too long to open up packages and.... Oh well. But yeah, I was excited when I got it and once I started going through it, dang it!! Oh well... Win some, lose some. Have a few reviews coming that are definitely winners!! 😬😬 (More Mopars of course lol)

ughhh the base. PS- thats an indy speedway logo on the side, at the bottom rocker panel since these were pace cars.... but as the box said, this was a pilot pre production prototype
Lol. And yes, still it has quite a few things I'd change... And the obvious oversight of not having the turbo in the engine bay is weird (i.e. it is called a TTA on the box so I at least expected that...)

Yup. Greenlight is having way too many quality issues lately though so I will probably hold off on buying 1/18s from them.
