- This video is a tribute to KARR (Knight Automated Roving Robot), a fictional automated prototype vehicle, featured as antagonist of KITT (Knight Industries Two Thousand), in two episodes of the tv series "Knight Rider" ("Trust Doesn't Rust" - Season 1, Episode 9; "KITT vs. KARR" - Season 3, Episode 6).
I have always regarded Karr as Kitt's cooler brother. So when I bought "The Crew 2" videogame for Xbox One and found the 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, it took me a moment to create the replica (excluded the custom dashboard).
Of course the original engine was tuned up to 500hp and I kept the 4-speed automatic transmission like in the Knight Rider tv show.

Aside from the jumps with the "Turbo boost" button, there was the "Ski mode" button that made the Firebird lift sideways making it go only on the two wheels on the right side or two on the left side. To pass through obstacles as if it were a moped. Then often Kitt would put the reverse in reverse accelerating to the maximum, then turn the steering wheel and start again in the opposite lane. Or the superpursuit mode and the super brake. Fantastic tv series. I miss Knight Rider. The 2008 remake was unsuccessful because there were too many computer nerd dialogues and there were few stunts, done on the PC and with an imposing 2008 Mustang Shelby GT 500 that did not have the same streamlined and aerodynamic line of the Firebird.
