I own a real 89 GTA. Always wanted one of these Greenlight for my collection.

I envy you…. I had a 1992 Camaro many years ago but as of 3rd gen F body, GTA is the coolest… right up there with TTA

Crazy what they want for that black version now, about like HW's Kitt & Ertl's Smokey & the Bandit models now. Getting to where 1:18 diecast isn't worth collecting imo.. I've got 2 greenlight 1:18 models & both steering wheels are way to big The last of the V8 Interceptor & the 1977 TA, (non Smokey & the Bandit version). Sad the details are getting less & less, the wheels turn on the Mad Max car but not the TA, neither hoods open & which don't have a motor.. Love the 87 GTA's, I was 14 when they came out & a older friend had a black one, was so jealous lol. Closest I had was an 81 Berlinetta Camaro. Hold on to it because it seems like all 1:18 are going up & up not to mention the discontinued models like that one. Cheers!

I know how you feel. I got pretty lucky I had this one and some older AutoArt cars where the value skyrocketed beyond insane nowadays.

@@STMODELCARSI've always wanted one of these Greenlight 1989 Pontiac Firebird Trans-am GTA diecast. I still own and drive my black 1989 GTA now.

I have the maroon coloured version. Greenlight did a decent job, especially on the wheels which really sell the realism of the model, whereas on most models it's actually the wheels that let them down. It's also a shame that the lights at the front don't pop up and the front wheels have limited turning. But I find the model photographs very well. :)
