River Almond 2nd June 2024

A trip to the River Almond at the start of June.
I wasn't going to name the river I was fishing on, but with the chemical smell and known sewage issues, I figured it'd be good to highlight for awareness.
I was fishing at the Almondell and Calderwood country park, and there's a sewage treatment plant just up from it.
In future, I'll be spinning in that section, where I don't have to wade - or will be fishing upstream of the sewage plant!
