Literally the only difference the Platinum Runner and Platinum Spear have is their hitbox. Other than that, they are completely identical. I simply chose the Spear variant because it's easier to get clips with. Plus, there are also clips in the video that use the Platinum Runner. Please stop commenting this. I don't have the time to clarify this 100+ times. I just wanna be able to sleep, man :(

This was very well done. In the few times I've used the Platinum Runner before, I come to think of it as an 'ultimate mode' of sorts for Mario Kart Wii. A much different experience than the traditional 200cc, 300cc mods and so on. MT, BC3, GV2, BC, DKM and LC were my favorites for this compilation, these really show the exaggerated turning that's possible with this mod (especially the ending of LC, the left "right side" glitch for BC and the bend turn for BC3). Great job!
It's amazing to see what this game can be, sometimes just watching how much we could theoretically push things is a motivation into the world of "I can do it if I try" This is amplified by 1000000x when goofs like the platinum bikes and karts are thrown into the mix
The tranquil music and platinum glow on Funky make it feel like he has achieved a sort of racing nirvana. Like a god of the game turning the world around him into a playground to see whats possible.
What do you get when you combine stats better than... The Spear's speed The Piranha Prowler's weight The Quacker's acceleration The Bullet Bike's drift and mini-turbo The Bit Bike's handling The Magikruiser's off-road And a TAS? Shortcuts like this. Pure insanity
@@SatanicWren not even, Platinum Runner is just visually maxed out bars, the bars can go outside of the boxes to be way higher than what you would logically think is the max unless you've seen videos like Troy's one on the Magiquacker
@@Psychomaniac14 MKWii had a built in max stat despite no vehicle reaching it, that Plat Runner is max stats, his other vehicle mods just go over the max stats, hence why they are out of the bar

The celeste intro style at the beginning was pretty cool. Love that you stuck to that aesthetic with keeping the music title, author, level (or in this case showcase). Really cool and I was excited to see it.
That's my intro card! I actually made that for two reasons. First, the artist behind the music deserves as much credit as they can get (music is fuckin' hard to do right lmao), and second, I got tired of people asking the song title despite it being in the description, so I just put it in the video so that issue would cease. Is it petty for me to do that? Yes. Do people think I should get rid of it? Yes. Is it working how it was supposed to? Also yes, and for that reason, it's staying.
But anyway, thanks! I put a lot of time into making it as accurate as possible (I literally had to dig into the audio files of the game to get the cassette sounds)
