2019-12-28 - VN24 - Truck in a ditch - easy job for Kollmers rotator

VN24 - In the morning at about 10:40 a.m. a trailer train fully loaded with cola drinks got onto the banquets on the Bundesstraße 1 near the intersection Iserlohner Straße for still unknown reasons and slid into a ditch on the loose ground with the right side of the vehicle. The driver first made some attempts to free his truck by himself, but then got stuck hopelessly, so that there was even the danger that parts of the truck could overturn. A recovery contractor had to use a special vehicle (rotator crane) to free the truck and trailer from its unfortunate position. For the rotator a quite easy task. During the time of recovery, the Bundesstraße 1 was not passable on the lane towards Dortmund, but traffic was able to pass the place of operation. Nobody was injured in this incident.
