⚠️Important Update! Apologies I misunderstood the locking 4x4. You must be in 4lo and have the center locked in order to lock the rear. ⚠️ Thanks for watching! Don’t forget to check out the video description for some helpful/related links! ☝️ PS Big thanks to Jimmy Nguyen for your support by sharing this video with the Land Cruiser Facebook page!
We've had our 2925 Land Cruiser for about a month now. I have been struggling trying to understand all the features and controls until I saw your video. This helps me tremendously. Thank you so much.
Just picked up my 2025 Land Cruiser and the 712 page owners manual was intimidating. I’m migrating from my venerable FZJ80. This video plus the ones covering 12.3 MID display and New software system with Apple CarPlay have become my go to references. Thanks for putting them together, I feel like I’m drinking from the fire hose. However, the new LC is not as intimidating now. Keep up your good work Brian.
Just picked up our LC250 here in Canada, this video of yours really helps. Our sales agent was on a rush when we picked up our vehicle sadly it wasn’t shown most of the stuffs you have here.
No idea on release date for 26 rav4 but they exist and have been shown to employees. My guess is they will follow a similar release schedule to other models like LC followed.
Hi Brian, thanks for this - very helpful! I'm finding when I set my interior temperature that it's warmer than what I have it set on, so end up having to turn down the heat. When I was first setting up my menu and gauge settings, I came across a screen (pretty sure on the multi media display) that allows you to calibrate the climate temperature plus or minus one or 2 degrees to your preference.. For the life of me, I can't find it again, and I don't see it in the owners manual. Can you help?
Thanks for that. I know I saw it somewhere but am thinking maybe it was a glitch that made it show up. Apparently the Carista OBD has the settings as an option.
Thank you very much... extremely helpful. If i'm driving and have my phone connected to wireless CarPlay, and using the map for navigation, Is it easy for the front seat passenger to change the preset radio stations? I'm coming from a 2022 Fortuner which had a round knob to change preset radio stations. I understand this can be done on the steering wheel. But just wondering if Toyota has made it easy to do this on the infotainment screen as well .. (unless there is a specific button to do this .). thank you.
Yes go into MID settings and get to pre collision system and tone down the sensitivity. Also your cruise control sensitivity can be changed via steering wheel
@ going left or right just move you to different pages, settings on mine is on 1 right button goes to 2 then 3 if you go back to 1 setting mode is still there
With the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 on my new 2024 Cross does the video from the front facing sensors camera act as a dash cam that would be available to use as proof in an accident or do I still need to add a Dash cam Thanks Brian
Toyota has access to that footage, not you, so I always highly suggest your own dash camera. This is because YOU have control of the footage. You don’t have to wait and hope and pray Toyota has it or even gets back to you on time or is even willing to release it to you.
I've watched this video and the MID video. As of yet I cannot understand the settings on 2024 LC when using CarPlay that read text messages or announce directions. And I have called Toyota to make sense of it-didn't help. If you are listening to XM while using CarPlay, reading of text messages or Maps navigation do not reduce the volume of music so you can hear what is being said. Additionally, there are settings in the Toyota menu for sound and media for phone level and others, but these are greyed out Please explain. Seems like it needs an update that doesn't exist.
does android auto have to be disconnected to before you start changing things? cause my music skips songs or I start choosing different aps like radio,Apple car play etc instead of seeing these Ahhh
Changing what things? You shouldn’t have to disconnect Android Auto or CarPlay to change settings. Just access the toolbar on the left for Toyota settings to get to your apps on the screen and find the black Toyota app to access Toyota settings.

By far the best video for the tech. We have 2 of the new LC and this is perfect to follow. Thanks for creating.

Thank you! No word yet to me on that

Hey thanks
For watching. Sorry not sure of this menu you speak about. I suggest setting it to auto w the temp to 69-71 and see how you like that.

Yes it’s very easy to change the radio stations
thanks much !
You're welcome! Just a side note I updated the description with the proper 4x4 use. Slipped up a little during film.
Is there anyway at all to turn off the lift gate lights?
I’ll check for you when I have another one
How do I view the odometer. I want to see how many miles on the car. Not the trips.
Should be the same as this th-cam.com/users/shortsJg5g7E-Pqqk?feature=share
Do you know how to turn off the radar?
It keeps braking over and over I’m sick of it lol
Yes go into MID settings and get to pre collision system and tone down the sensitivity. Also your cruise control sensitivity can be changed via steering wheel
How to exit the settings mode on mid?
Hit the back button and then use the left or right arrow
@ going left or right just move you to different pages, settings on mine is on 1 right button goes to 2 then 3 if you go back to 1 setting mode is still there
Have u tried from the Key Fob Ignition Start
No why?

The volume issue with CarPlay has been going on for a bit. Waiting for a resolution.
How can you map on HUD or center display My LC does it sometimes but not consisitant
If it’s not consistent you will
Want to have it looked at. Also note my updated description regarding the 4x4
What's the green ready at the bottom left dash??. Can you turn it off?
No, that’s a very important symbol. It means this hybrid vehicle is on and “ready” to drive.
@brianruperti thank you
Please show me 2024 toyota land cruiser map north up setting instructions
Which map the factory or app on phone
@@brianruperti The map came with 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser.

What is the green ‘READY’ lit up for?
Means vehicle is on and ready to drive
How do I turn off the beeping noise when i go 0.0001 km over the limit?
See the chapter on speedo cluster where I go over settings for speed limit warning
@ Thanks.
@@DjursholmCars you got it
Your section on the rear locker is completely wrong. You must have the center locker engaged and be in L4 to operate the rear locker.
Thank you! I clearly misunderstood my reading on that section. Will update description.
Thanks!
Thank you for your generosity! 🙏🏼
