    Hello, Joanna.
    This message is for thanking me in my health journey. I was 90 kg at January 2020, I felt lowest, my confidence was gone. Then I started to do some free hands at home. Even now I do not go to gym and do cardio, strength, HIIT at home. Your videos helped me a lot. Now I have started to love my journey somewhat.

    I've subscribed to your channel because I so appreciate all the teaching comments and guidance throughout, that's so professional and totally makes me feel like I'm doing a real gym class with a personal trainer. Most of the vids I've followed up to now just bang the music on and leave you to it, no correcting of posture to get the most out of the moves. So brilliant site for me and I'll definitely be doing more! 💓

    This showed up on my recommendation on the right time! At the moment where I live due to sudden spike in covid cases, running outdoor is prohibited. I used to jog every morning to start my day. I was drenched in sweat and it felt amazing! Thank you so much and I absolutely love your meal prep videos, hope to see more of that!!

    When I heard it doesn’t have lunges or squats, I thought it’s a knee friendly workout. I wouldn’t recommend this for someone who’s looking for knee friendly workouts, since most of these variations are putting a lot of pressure on knees, and I realized that once I started. But overall, it’s a great workout and I managed to finish it because I didn’t want to stop it in the middle.

      @Asma 123 i can’t say because i never walk 3 km outdoors. But this workout makes my heart palpitates and i’m drenched. Doing this + joanna’s strength workout, my weight has started to decrease too 😊

    A rule of thumb for whosoever doing Joanna workout for the first time : You never underestimate her workouts, even if she says it's low impact, I swear it will kick your ass. Thank you Joanna, I cant say how proud I m having completed this routine in one go.

    I have to admit this is the best low impact workout I've ever done. Low impact yet intense and it targets my entire body. I also love how she speaks throughout the entire workout, you're so sweet and encouraging. Thank you Joanna ❤

      @BLACK PINK you should definitely consume more calories, and it depends on every person. we can't really tell you how much you'll lose based on this at all so do this at your own pace. and pls eat more!! i think you're not an adult yet and if you're going through puberty you need as much food as you can get since this is the time you'll be growing. so eat ok?

    ps2: definitely feeling better, energetic. i also eating healthy stuff. eggs, yoghurt, milk, fruits etc. life became more tolerable, keep going people!
    ps3: it was my free day, but i hated every second of it. don't know why 😥
    i hate myself in my bed, it hurts so much having no one will understand. just can't sleep at all.
    ps4 : even tho i haven't slept very well, i did my workout. helps me keep balance. it's kinda must to me.
    ps5 : today's workout done, i'm sweating like hell, it feels great guys!
    ps6 : i'm on my period, i had terrible pain last few days, just can't do anything.

    ps33 : some nights i feel like i'm mental. i'm crying i feel deeply unhappy, alone. it hurts so much. i can't feel like my organs still together in my body. working out is the only thing makes me stabile. i hope at least you have a good night!
    ps34 : guys, it's my period again and it's my wooorst period ever. i can't even describe my pain. i should have bought more powerful painkiller. i'll be back when its done. 💕
    ps35 : i'm finally back after 5 days. guys i noticed that i have back dimples. yes i'm 22 and i didn't know during sooo many years. i guess working out helped them becoming clear.

    ps37 : i'm fine these days. just working out and studying. i'm done eating before 7 pm. it's like a intermittent fasting. it helps me sleep better.
    ps38 : its 25th of may. i'm on my period and good news i'm not in pain. i guess it's because of painkiller that i took before my regl for 2 days mornings and nights. it is really helping. try it! i'll be back!
    ps39: heey butters i'm back. my cousin said 'vov you look thinner'. it's workingggg yey💗
    ps40: last two weeks were my exam weeks and i even couldn't sleep. was soo tiring but i'm back with a proper workout routine. it's 17th of june. love u ♥️♥️
    ps41: it's 14th july. i'm doing very well. keep going exercising and not a strict diet. people says 'woah pınar you look thinner, what did you do? do you go to gym' etc. btw my anxiety is not totally good sometimes i don't even want to wake up but life goes on..love you thanks for your support. 💜

      My daughter has bad anxiety and she’s super fit because she has to work out to keep anxiety and depression away. If she skips a week you can see the depression creep in. It works and she doesn’t have to take medication. Just try it for a few weeks and I bet it will help. Good luck and you’ve got this!

    I have been working out with the same TH-camr for 6 years & have tried several others. This is the FIRST workout where I’ve SO ENJOYED not only the workout but the instructor as well. So likeable, pushes you, & I really enjoyed the format more than I thought I would. 31 weeks pregnant & this was pretty high intensity but nothing where I ever wanted to give up midway through. Subscribing, SO EXCITED I HAVE A NEW WORKOUT “BUDDY”! 🥰🥰🥰

    I'm doing this workout for almost two months almost every morning and I really see results. I didn't measure myself, but I took pictures where I can see change and also my friends and family told me I became leaner. Also, I feel so much better, I have more energy, I became more motivated and more proud of myself. When I feel tired or get my period, I do 10k indoor walk because it's easier. Now I want to challenge myself and do these two workouts at once and reach 10k steps every day at my home because it's winter now and I don't go out often

      Lol i tried to combine both. But i ded like halfway through the third round of the second video. So for me I always manage to do 3 rounds. There are time constraint too. But this is definitely the more tiring workout than the 10K steps because this is 40secs work and 15sec rest. How many times did you combine both per week?

    I'll introduce your workout to my mom, its a perfect exercise after her breast operation, she lost a lot of her muscle mass and I'm insisting her to do some low impact workouts.

      This is a great workout to build stamina and muscle. I gave birth 2 months ago; I was on bedrest for the full nine months and lost all my muscle. I could barely lift my kids. I started this workout two weeks ago and feel so much stronger. I can lift my 5 year old over my shoulders now with so much ease. Still can’t do a push-up though lol

    I start this workout the 1st of december.
    I was 100kg.
    Today i’m 92 kg.
    I don’t calculate calories, but im eating proteins carbs and good fat (doing also the intermittent fasting) 🤩🤩

      @@gabb4122 you can't just follow someone else's diet and expect the same results cause every body is different, and accornding to your age, body weight and height you might have different caloric needs. But a good rule to follow is always feel half your plate with vegetables, a quarter with protein and a quarter with carbs. It's a good idea to opt for complex carbs, like whole grain bread, sweet potatoes etc but that doesn't mean you can't have rice or white bread. For fats, opt for small servings of quality , healthy fats like extra virgin olive oil, avocados, nuts, seeds, nut butter, seed butter like tahini etc. Also, a big help is to eat mindfully and pay attention to how much you are eating. Start with a small portion and get seconds if you are actually hungry don't just finish a big plate of food just because it is in front of you.
      Also, exercise plays an important role. Joanna has plenty of videos you can choose from, just pick one that suits your needs best and stick to it.
      Aim for consistensy and try to make exercise a habit that brings you joy not a punishment or a means to an end.
      Last but not least try to shift your mindset and focus on your behaviors that you can control and not in the way your body will change or not. I mean what I try to do every day is make sure I drink enough water, eat home cooked meals not take out, eat at least one or two servings of vegetables, opt for whole grain bread or oats when I can and move my body as much as I can. But I also give myself permission to have some sweets, or white pasta, if I really want them or if that's what we are having in our house.
      So you see, I am also in the process of adopting a healthier lifestyle, in order to manage my pcos but I have tried many times before to go all out, expect fast result and have the perfect diet and exercise regime. That didn't work very well so this time I am trying a gentler approach and my main goal is to practice being patient with myself.
      Slow and steady wins the race, that's the quite I try to live by.

      @BLACK PINK it depends again on your metabolism, your age ( weight/height) . 1000 calories per day is too low and especially if you workout ... you can do what you want and of course i'm not a doctor but i know from experiences that it' not good and it can't be something you can do for a long time. So what i can recommend you is to workout ( this one is really cool or some other from her channel, you can do it everyday ) + eat healthy food (fruits/vegetables etc ) and 1200/1300 calories per day minimum is good . once again i dont know your age etc so it's hard to give you good advices. just please don't do extrem things

      @@sinduarun3242 I only burn 150-200. I walk about 3k km and my heart rate stays at 155+. My weight is 140lbs. It depends on your weight and intensity, how many calories are burnt.

    I am recovering from COVID and still on oxygen, I have been doing walking workouts and chair workouts but I was feeling blah with them. I absolutely loved this one but at the end it was more of the walking in place than keeping up ( I will keep doing it until I do) I did 369 km not sure how that did but I tried... That being said do I burn as much calories when I modify or should I turn my oxygen units up and try to push through

    Doing this workout for 30 days!
    Starting date:15th March
    Weight:140 pounds/63kg
    Goal:132 pounds
    Eating around 1,350 cals a day with plenty water and doing intermediate fasting.
    Day 1: feeling very sweaty. Edit:i ended up binging today 😬
    Day 2: my legs are sore from yesterday but I have done a good stretch today so hopefully I won't be that sore tomorrow. I did this workout along with a Pamela Reif inner and outer thigh workout!

    For a 30 minute no jumping excercise? this is a must workout 👍🏻 My Doctor said I need to have a NO JUMPING excercise because my knees will be injured and so with this one, I'm happy that I sweat a lot! 👏 Still a starter but I will give you some feedback if I loose weight after somedays (And planning to have intermetent) Wish me luck but again and this is recommendable... (By the way Im from Phil.) Thanks guys

      HIIT is generally anaerobic and produces less sweat in general. This is aerobic exercise which does make you sweat more.

    It's my first day and I gave up after 24 mins 😷
    Day 2: I must be really unfit lmao 😆 Halfway through I started to feel dizzy and lightheaded so I took a three mins break 😫 Hopefully tomorrow will be better. (Okay, so that happened when I did this as soon as I woke up this morning. I did this workout again in the evening and I felt a lot more energetic. I could keep up with Joanna and actually have more stamina left. I don't feel bad about myself anymore :'3 haha)

    I did this workout 3 times a week with the diet. My last meal is at 7pm everyday. And I only have a banana for my last meal. No food at night. And i'm in week 6. I already lost 3kg. I'm happy. Thank you for this video Joanna❤😊

      @@iamdora2090 yup .. I also initially felt how this simple exercises can be useful .. but it worked like a magic to me 😇 I did not follow any specific diet .. I just kept eye on my portion size and reduced deep fried and high calorie foods intake. I also used once a week as cheat day where I will eat the food I’m most craving but still portion control is very important. In this way I got to eat everything and also see the change on my weight. !!

    I wanted to work out yesterday and found this. Decided to give it a try I thought it would be easy, cause am lazy asf. BOY was I wrong it had me sweating and feeling every part of my body the next day and I loved every second of it. It was low impact but still challenging. I was 106kg and I was on a 1200 diet. I want to post this so I can hold myself accountable and work towards my goal. Which is to be at a healthy weight which is 70kg. My height is 5.7inch. If anyone reads this YOU CAN DO THIS KEEP GOING 👏🏾💪🏾

    I am 70. In quarantine ... Heart rate was 125bpm, covered 2.03km about 3000 steps. I guess I was going at a much slower rate than you, Joanna. But thank you. Made my quarantine more bearable, and heathy. Btw I did this while fasting!

    I love this workout , makes me sweat a lot , elevates my heart rate and after plateuing at 131 lbs for 1 month ( from 137.9 and Im only 5'1 in height) finally Im at 130 ( may not seem a lot for some but it means a lot to me) after 5 days of doing this . And so I will continue doing this along with Joanna's other workout for beginners and I also have since then cut my walking hour in the treadmill to half because this is more fun : )

    I do great things for myself on impulse so here's committing to this workout for a month. I intend to lose 3-4 kg/month by September 2021 = 6-8 kgs
    I'll do this every alt day (mon-wed-fri) + a heavier+short workout for the other days of the week (tue-thurs-sat). Resting on Sundays. No change in diet, just refusing to eat when im not hungry.

    It is 7 July 2021 (wed) - I could only finish half because of an injury from yesterday's workout.

    Just a quick tip for everyone.. don’t count the calories that you burnt.. do the workout to stay fit. I burnt around 120 calories in these 40mins which I think is pretty normal considering this workout was low impact. However, it sure got me dripping with sweat and that’s what I appreciate the most.       You also lose after the workout. I never take out my fitness band especially after I try a new workout

      @@jeanettecodrington4988 Lifting weights doesn't burn that many calories, but see it this way, it gives you bigger muscles and bigger muscles burn more calories while you're at rest, while cardio workouts only burn calories during the actual workout:)

    This was such a good workout!! Absolutely loved it. I was feeling a little under the weather today and wasn't in the mood to do the regular cardio strength training. And then Joanna dropped this amazing workout. I ended up burning 260 calories ( just one round)!!! Thank you so much Joanna. I have completed the squat and plank challenge, the 30 min cardio strength challenge and the way these workouts have changed by body is beyond explanation. Thank you so much Joanna.     This workout is great, Joanna! I've done it 3 times this week and feel a difference in my torso and feel much lighter on my feet! Thank you and thanks for also including the warm up and cool down within your videos. I really appreciate that! 😁

    I highly recommend this workout especially for those who wants low impact. I have been trying for the past five days. I have dropped one kg ( of course with a balanced diet with less carbs and less sugar ) . My body feels light too.
    3/3 : 57kg
    8/3: 56.1kg
    4/4: 55.3 kg
    14/4 : 54.9kg
    4/6: 55.5 kg
    Gained some weight in May as I was not feeling well on and off. Now starting my routine again.
    Hopefully I can reach my target 52kg soon. 🙏
