The zeon kits from 0080 are a bit outdated, but I still love them. The z’gok-E was a tough one with the seam lines through some of the vents. I felt like I was resculpting them trying to make the putty look even. By the way, as far as Dom’s, it seems anything with rick is a rework for space and tropen is a tropical or sandy terrain use. @@cnhnx you're right, char's gelgoog was number 70 in the HGUC line while the jager is number 40 in the line. I wonder why they didn't fix the proportion then.
@@marljhonamolat1127 Like HGUC Zaku II, Char's Gelgoog was meant to have anime-accurate proportion and design. It's "not bad" or need to be fixed, it is meant to be simple and have old-school look of Okwara's lineart from 1979. If anything I think it's Jager that need to be fixed as it's not accurate to Izubuchi's lineart. The model has undersized head with overly large feet.
I have this. Pretty cheap and it's fairly easy to modify for seamline removal. You should consider modding the shoulder joints for more articulation though.
I would absolutely fuckin adore a MG Gelgoog Jager based off the Gelgoog 2.0 frame. well improved version of that frame. could be more solid at the waist and could have better knee articulation.
This is my absolute favorite Zeon suit and it hurts my soul that there is no 1/100 kit for this. In fact, the Cima command suit, the standard Gelgoog Marine, and this 0080 Jager all don't have MG 1/100 kits.
Yeah, it essentially looks good, especially with the beam machine gun, but it shows it’s age pretty hard with its articulation and lack of accessories. It goes the same with the p-bandai Shin Matsunaga with the only difference being its colors, stickers, and questionably “updated” parts. I still enjoyed building and playing with it regardless!
DarkAlex1978 Essentially! The rest of the weaponry is already “installed” on the kit and its beam saber aren’t included as apparently it’s not specified where it is stored on the mobile suit.
To be fair, the lack of accessories is accurate to the armaments of the MS itself not being much and at least it comes with an open hand that can convincingly grab onto the rifle for support.
Old HGUC kits are always so weird on what they part separate and what they leave as just molded detail. Like those little vents on the front of the shoulder but not the ones on the side. The vulcans in the forearms, but not the vents on the front bottom of the crotch. The bottom of the feet. too. You've got fairly new HG's like the Destiny which has small feet but hollow spaces that seem like they wouldn't have taken that much plastic to fill. Meanwhile this dude has huge feet and no hollow spaces.

Kampfer holds up well while the GM sniper Ii is severely limited by single jointed elbows and meh leg articulation, the cool kneeling sniper poses you can do with the MG are impossible with the HG.
@@GunFeverr Just about the only problem with the Sniper II is the elbows and that's just because it was made in the era when Bendai forgot how to make double jointed elbows and is a good kit otherwise, and only then because it was made a while after the 0080 kits.
Zaku II Kai is actually good though, it isn't the best kit out there yeah and the RE 1/100 is objectively better but it is decent enough for what it is.

The Robot Damashii Ver ANIME is really good, if you’re willing to shell out for it.
if there comes an MG of this , if it can do a full kneel i'm going straight at it
Fun fact: the Gelgoog Jager's gun is a machine gun with sniper rifle accuracy
Sounds like every gun in the Battlefield franchise...
