I’m 2 weeks into my lease on a 21’ CX-5 Grand Touring Reserve. I’ve had Mazda sends and a CX-7 in 2007. I bought them all new and maintained them, all have been fun, extremely reliable, and affordable to operate. No regrets. Glad to hear you love yours as well! Cheers
Not much better than base engine. I’ve driven both. The turbo is NOT a throw u in your seat boost. It’s a gradual thing. Only good for highway imo Also, the Carbon is limited in features. I’ll gladly trade off that turbo for hud, heated and cooled seats, folding mirrors etc etc
@@Blaze49AzSd I just bought mine last week, the Signature trim sticker was 39500 but was able to get the price down to 38000.00. Not huge but not too bad either
Very honest and accurate vedio. I wish I seen it before I bought it. Keep In mind ppl it only has phone app auto start. Doesn't have it on the key. Such BS
Same here, but I’m willing to wait and see what it looks like. And since I am in contact with the Mazda dealer I bought my 2015 mazda3 from, as soon as Mazda starts rolling them out I might drop a down payment on a gen 3.
I opted for the Toyota Rav4 Hybrid due to the economy and the quality but readily admit that the CX5 is a beautiful car. Had I gone with a non-hybrid, I'd be driving one.
It's a really lovely car. The most problem we have is the Napa leather gets white stained a lot with lotion or sunblock so we keep cleaning the interior. Another issue is water streaks everywhere after a car wash. Another thing is we already scratched the piano black trim in the pillars. Water gets trapped in corners so just when you thought you've toweled and dried all areas, water will drip later. Gas mileage is also not as good as our previous cx-5 but that's to be expected. It could also be that we love driving it so much so we're driving more than usual.
Although the vehicle has a stylish look, I am pretty disappointed with the 2021, it just feels too incomplete and not really thought out or tested. Entertainment controls are missing functionality, like being able to skip songs by "sliding" volume knob to left and right, can't scroll through the history in the maps, blind spot monitoring constantly turns on when it shouldn't, arm rests are just too far away to be useful, climate controls are too close to the small compartment, homelink only works about 20% of the time, (somehow affected by vehicle's lights). But the seats are the most painful I have ever experienced. Poor design covered up with foam shaping to make it look nice. You are literally sitting on the corner of a 90 degree bend of sheet meal with round spring steel over top that runs squarely across the center with about 1/2 inch of foam at that point. If you weight over 160lbs, you will feel it after about 15 minutes of driving. I should have bought the gen1 or something else.
Pair your phone via bluetooth , scroll connectivity click 'touchscreen active in motion' ...full time touch screen in the CX-5.
Best £30,000 we have spent . Awesome car . Not huge but great fun to drive and a high quality fit and finish. Will be keeping our for a long time.

I bought the 2020 edition Sportive 2.5. I am really happy with it! The most elegant and reliable in his class.
I just have got one to my wife but 2014 model, I hope I do the right thing she needs for the winter time.
Just got my carbon edition 🙌🏻 red leather blacked out rims♥️🖤
Got the same one bro. Good choice, bad ass whip

We have a 2018 and bought another 2021 yesterday. Look forward to having them both for years to come.
My daughter is getting ready to talk to a dealer here in Scottsdale, can you tell me your out the door price on the 2021? Thanks
@@Blaze49AzSd I got mine here in Orlando, Florida. The sticker was $33,885.

Same here except a 2016 and now a 2021. And I have a Mazda 3 that’s still going strong and only has 32k miles and is a spare car
Probably could have a bigger sun roof

Dont you have a phone?
I have a Mazda cx30. I would much like a key phob starter over the phone one.
Lol BS - not a huge deal

I love Toyota - having owned a fantastic Verso - and you won't do wrong with them... but just bought a 2020 CX5 and it rocks...
I'm interested in leasing one as I am waiting for their inline 6 models in 2022

I Love Mazda cx 5 look and handling .
Got mine a week ago. I do have a touchscreen with wireless CarPlay, even though my trim is pretty basic

The backseat needs more leg room
Nice review! Just bought one.
I have 2017 top of the line cx5 and best change is brown nappa interior
Starting at 25k and the car as showed is 37k. Smh. Why haven’t anyone reviewed base model
It’s beautiful 😻
@shiftinglanes How would you compare the Tucson to the CX-5? Which would you say is the more attractive vehicle?
I like the new Tucson better, but the CX5 is still a good looking crossover.
@@ShiftingLanes Which are your preferred Tucson colors?
my 2020 gearbox sounds loud, brakes squeaks and drives bumpy ... only 2 month old... does anyone know what could be causing this
I Would call your comment bullshit
This or Venza
This, Venza is boring and clunky
