My ported 2018 intake manifold and 2018 JLT CAI came in the mail today. Am I going to run into any issues with the 2018 CAI? I'm installing it on my 2014 GT.
Looking at the engine, start with the center bolt on the passenger side, then the center bolt on the driver side. Rear passenger side bolt then rear driver side bolt. Finally, front passenger side bolt then driver side front bolt. Torque in two stages. Stage 1: 89 lb-in | Stage 2: Tighten an additional 90-degrees -Landan
Hi guys, could you tell me what the vacuum inlet on the back of the manifold is for? I am dealing with the problem of high rpm and only that input is without connector or hoses, I would appreciate if you could help me
Joel - It's been a little bit since I've looked at an 11-14 factory Coyote intake manifold, but I don't think that port is open. Slide a small screwdriver down the port and see if it stops. If not, install an appropriate-sized vacuum cap. -Landan
Any follow up actions with that open port so far? My 14' GT also has it open. I'm not the first owner and I don't know whether this comes from the factory
I like how you’re straight to the point and didn’t feel the need to give us your whole life story before doing the video 👍🏼
Can you guys make a video on the 2018+. Intake manifold removal
We'll look into it, but most of the steps are very similar. -Landan
That is so cool Knowledge is Key 🔑
First, before anything else, drain all of your coolant!! You're welcome!

Tommy, you will not have a fitment problem with the 2018 JLT CAI. We have an employee with the same set up on his 2012 and he had no issues.
Could you do a how to lower intake manifold for foxbody?
We have a video how to install the manifold already, but just reverse the steps and you'll be good to go! th-cam.com/video/4UoeazuVbQk/w-d-xo.html
What is the pattern for tightening the bolts back on/torque specs?

My 12 gt has a 3rd smaller hose that goes next to the largest one, any idea what it’s for?

Swapping out mine on my 2013 F150 5.0. Typical Ford plastic junk. 9 outta 10 fails and leaks coolant at some point.

@@latemodelrestoration thanks
So is that port on the back used or not?
@@jimbrow83 in the 5.0 2012 model no, I think that in most models it is not used
