- Got some go fast bits! Pretty easy to install. Hopefully with this video and the CJPP video you guys can figure it out. First time doing anything engine wise but it was all pretty easy to understand.

It looks the best under the hood. The CJ is a beast too, but like you said it's way more expensive for the intake and the TB. Also, I plan on turbo(s) in the future and the CJ makes that more complicated. Boss is known for being great with turbo/procharger

Man I wish we were in the same coast that would have been dope. Hooking our cars up and cruising the coast. Oh yeah I ordered the shift boot and the break boot from your spot. I did the silver stitching and next mod would be to change the seat belts in silver also. I wanted the grabber blue like you said but I have the embroidery on the recaros seats and it’s silver. I think that’s going to pop a lot.

did you install the boss 302 with the stock throttle body or did you buy a BBK 85mm throttle body??
Need some advice. Debating on what intake. Boss 302 or cobra. Not gonna race it. Maybe once in awhile get on it. Maybe race but not gonna be a racer. Thanks
Boss intake looks good. Now it's time for a serious tune, you should have AED dyno tune the car.
Lol my lund tune is just fine. They’re one of the best in the game. Thousands of coyotes under their belt. AED is great too and local, but for this it doesn’t need a dyno tune

Where Did you locate The PURGE VALVE ? And What did you use ?
So say i was to buy this intake and the install kit and all that. And had a handheld tuner. Would i just contact a certified tuner and explain to them what i need?
When you get some more time behind the wheel, I’m curious how the power band has changed. I’d imagine up top is a bit better, what did it do down low/midrange?
Also, do you remember when you added the off-road h pipe? Any power pick up ? How much additional noise?
So far the low i feel is that it doesn’t wake up until at least 4000rpm. But that’s fine with me because who gets onto it at 3500 rpm to really let her sing. Up top it totally makes up for it because it goes and goes and goes
Can’t say it really added much. If anything it was because the cats got deleted and the turn and JLT intake happened at the same time

Hey man, dumb question but im curious. Did lund do a ghost cam with that tune? Always wondered if the ghost cam tune would still be good to race on and what not. Thought about doing the ghost cam tune but never was sure how it would act performance wise
Yeah Lund did. It's the same for WOT. The Ghost cam only happens when you're idling after about 5-10 sec. I spoke to my tuner about it and he said yep all the same for the under throttle stuff.

Looking at a 17 f150 5.0. The Carfax says the previous owner had a dealer install a new intake and gaskets? The current dealer doesn’t know why that was. Hmmm.

For some reason when I try loading my tune it keeps saying “save of stock information FAILED New tune has NOT been installed” another msg that pops up instead of that one is “could not initialize communications with vehicle (2) check connections and try again”. Everything is plugged nice and snug, does anyone have any idea what could be the problem? Any info could help thanks!
I ran cam tune in my old 5.0, I stalled so damm much, backing into a parking spot was almost guaranteed. But it sounded good though.

I didn’t use that install kit. I didn’t want to cut or so anything. That’s what the $10 hose and clamps prevents

GT350 is cool too and even the 18. But neither have the same presence as a boss manifold. The real king is the CJ

Legit question. I have the complete kit, for my Jaguar xjl. It IS a Ford 5.0. My Ford dealership does the oil changes, tires, normal stuff. I'm concerned if I do this installation, I won't be able to find someone to tune it.

I didn't have to rewire. I used the 10$ hose and hose clamp kit. Made it so I don't have to touch my factory wiring because fook that. It was 100$ for the boss manifold update. I already had the $250 intake/exhaust tune.
Why didn't you keep the jlt intake?
Just wanted to switch it up and look at something else under the hood. Both are great and a huge improvement over stock
Why not go with the gt350 Mani?
It's not that great compared to others. Boss and 18 are better.

He's right. The drivability is pretty bad but it sounds awesome. I'm on the normal idle tune and it's silky. If you are catless and Lund tuned they'll send you the ghost cam.

Redline Custom custom tune threw mastiff performance in Florida
Reason is because the boss is made for the roadrunner 5.0, not the coyote. Driver a boss 302 and then drive a 5.0 with the boss mani and you’ll feel the low end laziness

Yeah the 18 puts more power than a boss but for boost the boss will work great

Fact: the intake doesn’t benefit the coyote all that much because the boss 302 comes with the roadrunner 5.0. It’s not the same. It may “feel” faster up top, maybe gain a “few” peak numbers but what about average hp/tq that’s what really matters.
