These Assetto Settings Made Logitech G920/29 Feel MUCH BETTER!

- After struggling with the Logitech wheel in most cases it's finally starting to feel comfortable! I set up Neck FX, increased Force Feed Back, and made a Gyro Implementation tweak!
PC Setup:
Logitech G920 Wheel

I really felt it when you said "can't say that word, too high"
Tip with NeckFX, turning "look ahead" gain to 0% will be better because what it's trying to do is look at the apex of turns which is great for racing, not so much for drifting. It also doesn't work properly with all tracks. With look ahead set to 0 gain the driver will only look in the direction you are steering. With "Direction alignment" steering %, think of it like degrees you turn your head, at 25% you driver will turn his head 25° to the left and right, giving you 50° total. Hope this helps

Can you use the pedal setting so we can see how you are pressing the pedals?
i think Gyroscopic effect gives stability when you lose your grip on a speedy straight line ,
so it helps your car to keep low degrees while drifting/spinning to 30°-60° instead of 180°-360°
_I change it to Off when I want to drift, help me if I'm wrong to change it_
also, can you Upload an explanation video with your Controller Tweaks ?while racing just open the app
How did you get your hand break to work cuz mine works in carx but tried in assetto never worked
Thanks for the gyro CSP tip. Been drifting for a year and turning it on helps with self-centering. Not a huge deal but a nice feel boost. 👍
I just played with that setting earlier and tried 50% and man I can drive cars I couldn't drive before lol

I can't figure out what it is this this ffb option does, but it makes the VDC cars feel amazing! A competitive sim drifter told me the ffb tweaks being active can make certain cars behave weird though, so it's worth turning off sometimes if a car doesn't feel right to see if it makes things better
To me it’s really hit or miss.
Vintage cars feel worse, modern cars feel bad.
That’s at least my experience with most cars.
This coment made me check if this option on my Content manager was ON, it was. turned off and INSTANTLY improved on drifiting, tks mate!
I hope this helps my consistency. I'm on a g920 with a aftermarket wheel so I physically have to throw the wheel when transitioning and that makes every transition unpredictable.

I don't really have anything to compare it to but seems to be great so far for the price. We'll see how long it lasts
I bought basically the same one with a different name (ya'll know how eBay is)more than a year ago and it works as good as the day I bought it. I'd just re-lube the parts that came with grease on them every once in a while so it doesn't start sounding gross

why on my settings i got a bunch of red text instead of normal white color? what does red text mean? usually red means bad but i dont know what the problem is
Dawg I highly reccommend you do the LUT mod on the Logitech, I did it to mine and that shit feels like a Fanatec now

i would recommend you to try more realistic car packs like WDTS

@@ibdrifting haha that's what I literally wanted to say - you will die in WDTS in compariosn to tandos :) But tandos after beeing better in other packs, has a lot of weird behaviours too. After a year in AC and drifting IRL what you can see on my channel - highly recommend FUMI Pack. A bit stronger and easier to drive power-wise then our real life cars, but they have front end and side bite almost like the same as my E46.

I wouldn’t with a Logitech, I did it and u lose so much ffb u almost have too throw it the other way in transition. Not worth it imo

Get wheelchecker and lut generator but there are plenty of tutorials on LUTs on TH-cam, it seems complicated but it’s super easy
