Just a tip for anyone needing to use more buttons: You dont need to assign a key for 'glance back' as long as you assign a key assigned for 'glance left' and 'glance right' all you have to do is press both keys at the same time and it will glance back.👍

hey man, my question is when i play with asetto using my g920 trying to drift, the wheel is on 100% feedback and when i want to let the wheel spin back by it self it just doesnt do, if i turn the feedback to 300% the wheel spins back but its much harder to move...
Comment's a bit too late but this is the problem with gear driven wheel. You have to "assist" it for it to go back to center. Search for noriyaro's videos specifically him drifting in the ae86. Your hand movements will be similar to that.
Hey man I've somehow only seen this comment now, apologies, that's very strange, Some people are saying that's an issue with gear driven wheels and I personally think that's nonsense, never had an issue with self steering on the G920. Having recently upgraded to a T300RS I would say that yes, T300 is stronger but never had any issues with the G920 not steering itself, my only guess would be maybe faulty/weak motor in your unit but thats honestly a guess, sorry mate!
Had same problem its the post proccessing settings. U have to turn up the gamma to 100. Also center boost gain 100 with center boost range at 0. I use 100 overall ffb gain in the game and 80 in control panel. I am using the tmx but its the same issue and this was my fix.

Nice tutorial, the settings are very good. They are springy and really let you feel the road. Very good for regular racing too. With these settings I can drift all the cars. Thanks a lot :)
I don't know of any specific ones, but if you search for "Drift" and sort the resuls by ping, then just pick the one you like the look of the most which has the best combonation of Ping, Cars you like, and on a track you like, thats a start haha!
I found that you can Shift + click and highlight all the cars you want to update previews, then press update at the bottom of the list. Does it all at once!
It does indeed, however if you have any encrypted mods, the preview will be of that glitchy mess that encrypted mods look like in the CM Showroom, so its best to do it manually!
i recommed everyone who is having force feedback(heavy steering) problems to unistall the logitech gaming software and using the logitech G Hub. after unistalling the gaming software and installing the ghub don't forget to restart the pc

Hey, I want to show my dad my wheel, but he is usually really tough on steering wheels, he likes to push and pull on them when he is driving, (last time I let him use a wheel he ripped it of my desk on accident). Should this wheel be durable enough to let him drive with it. He's a strong guy and I don't want him to loosen the stiffness of the wheel. Thanks.

If a driver knows he’s about to hit the wall or crash, even if maybe he could save it, he will let go of wheel and hold harness.

I followed everything you said to do perfectly, and yet still i cannot invert my pedals, it does not matter if i select inverted or not, the pedals are always reversed in game, this is just one of the many problems i have with this game, i have had it for months and barely driven 100 metres because of this. My computer runs Iracing no problems in VR, so its definitely not a performance issue, maybe i have installed something wrong, Content manager does'nt really seem to help anything either, could it be a mod i have installed? Any help with getting this game to actually run would be great. I'm at my wits end with this after a couple of full days trying to get it to run.
Comment from halfway thru vid, well 21:00. (No ebrake user) Rather than Bumpers, i found Using The Middle xbox button was easier for me. Unless you meant put a primary and secondary ebrake, i always hit wrong one when i hit paddle. But the xbox button was great to me.

Ok, let's try this. I can somewhat drift in RL, but in this game it's like driving on a soap. And when you release the gas pedal it should get out of drift, and not tighten it. Even doing a stupid barrel is almost impossible.

I still have the Problem, that the Steering Wheel kinda steers weird. When turning the wheel sometimes the Wheel ingame goes faster or slower than the actual wheel which really makes it hard to maintain any kind of drift.
Do you mean visual spins faster or slower? Cos that could just be a limitation of the particular car, for instance an f1 car doesn't have 900 degrees of rotation, o it could act wierd visually. If you mean physically, physics wise, I genuinely couldn't even take a guess at why that might be if you followed the steps, the only thing i can suggested is the usual trouble shooting, reinstall drovers/logitech software, double check over the settings! Hope you manage to sort it out!
Hey, is it normal for the g920 to have weird resistance when making the wheel straight after countersteering? The resistance makes popping sounds, feels like I'm fighting the ffb, but it doesn't feel good. I finally learned how to drift once I started fighting that though... but its loud and feels like im breaking it lol
I actually learned how to drift, and i get the popping sometimes, but its mostly when i'm jerking the wheel around and rotating it a lot. It's almost silent when I do it properly. Trying not to wake up anyone in my house is gonna be a good way to practice drifting smoothly lol
@@CS-ey2ds Have you guys tried opening the logitech software and reducing the centring spring back force percentage to zero, I did that and it made it so much more nicer to drift

No worries, happy it helped, and yeah it works perfect with F1 and LMP and rally, the game auto locks the wheel to the right rotation and the FFBClip app adjusts the strength appropriately :)
I just dont understand some stuff sometimes, Ive got a g29 and when i look at you "mylut.lut" line its like a straight line tilted upwards but on my g29 its like straight a bit first and then goes up and down a little and its not like yours at all
Hey si if I understand the LUT thing right they by definition won't all look similar or identical, as its specifically responding to make up for your specific wheel and I mean the physical piece of hardware, not the brand/product. Although the ones I've seen have all looked pretty relatively smooth like you said you see with the g29. A wierd bump or sip in your line would lead me to believe your motors have weak/strong points and so the LUT generated is to make up for those, bringing them closer to the middle/proper ffb delivery. That said, I know none of that as fact 😂 Its just my assumption based on how I believe the LUT Generator to work haha

I thought it had something to do with the steering wheel being bad or something because when i try to drift with it in asseto the wheel mostly vibrates and not really do that much realistic ffb. And when i go in a straight line the wheel in the center goes left to right a small amount and its not only loud but really anoying to feel those bad vibrations and all
Is it best to use a pc or games console for this? I've not really done gaming before and just want to use a simulator to get better at drifting whilst I'm not on a track.
Hi Chris, everything in this video was done using a PC/PC programs that aren't available on Consoles. A decent PC might be more expensive up front, but the world you open yourself up to compared to the severely cut back version of the game on consoles, which can't have mods for cars/tracks/night time etc. pays for itself in entertainment value easily!

my pedals are mapped where as if i touch the gas it will be the clutch and the break would be the gas pedal and clutch is break on the content manager how do i fix this???
Hey man I've since moved on to a t300rs, so I'm not upto date with Logitechs software, if G Hub has replaced the Logitech Gaming Software then absolutely yes, whatever their current software solution is, that's what you'll need! :)

You can adjust it ingame too when you in some map in ac put your mouse cursor to the right and then there is like maps and stuff you can put to the screen and there is one force feedback option and i myself adjust it there for every car
When i turn on content manager it asks for my ac root folder, steam jd and player name. I play on xbox and dont use steam. Of course i installed the latest version of logitech g thingy on my mac but then updated it and it didbt work so now its on my mums computer which doesnt have steam on it. What do i do?
This video only applies to the PC Version dude, sorry! I didn't think I'd need to specify! The wheel settings I show should apply to the console version all the same though!

It is a six bolt wheel, it shouldn't loosen, also you can hard mount it, so it doesn't move off while driving hard

I personally have always just used Winrar, but the program has the ability in the "Content > Apps" part, to install 7zip. Either works fine :)

My senter spring on my g920 automatically points the wheel to the left, but ingame it is going straight forwards

how to set up the G920 on xbox? i can't find the preferences like in forza 6
You need to start the game with the wheel to use it
i still can’t find out how to use my paddles as a handbrake, checked everywhere…
If I remember right, you've assign them a letter on the keyboard, like H, then assign the h key to the handbrake in the settings!
i dont have a physical handbrake, i only have g29 and logitech shifter.
and i cant use my keyboard or other button to use as handbrake?
Bind the handbrake to the paddle shifters, works surprisingly well haha
I just dont understand some stuff sometimes, Ive got a g29 and when i look at you "mylut.lut" line its like a straight line tilted upwards but on my g29 its like straight a bit first and then goes up and down a little and its not like yours at all
Hey si if I understand the LUT thing right they by definition won't all look similar or identical, as its specifically responding to make up for your specific wheel and I mean the physical piece of hardware, not the brand/product. Although the ones I've seen have all looked pretty relatively smooth like you said you see with the g29.
A wierd bump or sip in your line would lead me to believe your motors have weak/strong points and so the LUT generated is to make up for those, bringing them closer to the middle/proper ffb delivery.
That said, I know none of that as fact 😂 Its just my assumption based on how I believe the LUT Generator to work haha

I thought it had something to do with the steering wheel being bad or something because when i try to drift with it in asseto the wheel mostly vibrates and not really do that much realistic ffb. And when i go in a straight line the wheel in the center goes left to right a small amount and its not only loud but really anoying to feel those bad vibrations and all
I’m having trouble installing the FFBClip can anybody help me out I’ve put it in the Assetto Corsa file but it wouldn’t work or show up at all
wheelcheck detects my wheel but not its position where the position should be it just has x and y and it doesnt spin

Is it best to use a pc or games console for this? I've not really done gaming before and just want to use a simulator to get better at drifting whilst I'm not on a track.
Hi Chris, everything in this video was done using a PC/PC programs that aren't available on Consoles. A decent PC might be more expensive up front, but the world you open yourself up to compared to the severely cut back version of the game on consoles, which can't have mods for cars/tracks/night time etc. pays for itself in entertainment value easily!
So it says to use 0 on minimum force with the LUT. Is there a reason you have it on 15? Just wondering if it caused any issues

You're welcome thank you! I am indeed, though the shifter port died at some point last year, I'm considering moving on to a t300rs at some point soon, but this thing has been incredible for the 4 or 5 years I've had it!

my pedals are mapped where as if i touch the gas it will be the clutch and the break would be the gas pedal and clutch is break on the content manager how do i fix this???

I cannot find a way to download the LUT as I would need to pay a ridiculous amount of money.
Help I can drift with stability at 50% and completely can't at 0%
G29 or t150/tmx for drifting and ets2? Main focus is comfort and ffb strength
G29 is older and i prefer thrustmaster

Hey man I've since moved on to a t300rs, so I'm not upto date with Logitechs software, if G Hub has replaced the Logitech Gaming Software then absolutely yes, whatever their current software solution is, that's what you'll need! :)

You can adjust it ingame too when you in some map in ac put your mouse cursor to the right and then there is like maps and stuff you can put to the screen and there is one force feedback option and i myself adjust it there for every car

When i turn on content manager it asks for my ac root folder, steam jd and player name. I play on xbox and dont use steam. Of course i installed the latest version of logitech g thingy on my mac but then updated it and it didbt work so now its on my mums computer which doesnt have steam on it. What do i do?
This video only applies to the PC Version dude, sorry! I didn't think I'd need to specify! The wheel settings I show should apply to the console version all the same though!

tx 100% logitechs gear drives are shit
Someone tell me why every time I put Forcefeedback high my wheel shakes a fuck ton and is really hard to steer
because thats how forcefeedback works lol
