    Just bought my 1st mercedes a few days ago. 2022 glb 250. I luv it so far even without the seat memory. I got a black on black, 3rd row, amg trim package, night package and a couple other options. Got a really good deal with no mark up price plus 1k off msrp.

    Thanks for the review - solid honest everyday review. This was the review which helped me make my decision to buy the GLB200. Really enjoying the car - it’s a beauty! 🤟

    I got a premium plus 2022 and I am super jealous on what you have in your car. They axe the AR nav, electric tailgates(which almost a dealbreaker to me), burmester sound system, electric memory seats and wireless charging hub etc....

    Really solid review, and good quality too! I'm thinking about getting a GLB 200 soon, I've currently got an A 200 (Same engine), and I know how powerful that thing is for a 1.33L engine. Plus, there is an enormous amount of headroom in that engine, so a basic tuning-chip takes it. to over 200bhp which seems to be a sweet spot

    • @ManoloRafael

      What did you end up doing? I'm thinking of buying the GLB200 next week. :)

    • @Shaggy12321
      @Shaggy12321 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ManoloRafael I went with a 2020 BMW X1 in the end! For the same age/mileage you can get far better performance from the X1, so a 136bhp GLB is priced the same as a 200bhp X1 which is crazy. The X1 is also built far far better inside than the GLB which is a bonus, plus dual clutch auto is better than the torque converter in the GLB

  • @AandKs

    Great review... I was undecided between the GLB and the GLC for a family with two small kids. The GLB seems the better choice for a growing kids who will sport weekends and friends to move around.

    Great review and glad to hear your comment about the performance of the 1.3 engine. I'm looking to order one in the next couple of weeks and been struggling to find a review of the petrol 1.3l engine version.👍👍

    • @xmarcika
      @xmarcika หลายเดือนก่อน

      I had the 1.3 petrol for a week and I was really surprised with the car. Really good chassis, great interior and seats! The engine was really strong no complaints here. At first I thought it was 2L. Then I opened a bonnet and there was tiny 1.3. Looked a bit funny. So plenty of power. However, for being a hybrid, driving alone I was averaging 43mpg to a trip to Peak District. Which was really great for such a boxy car. But as soon as I was driving with 4 adults, with no luggage, the mpg was around 31 with a very gentle ride. And in the town I could see how a battery of the hybrid system was charged and discharged, but the fuel consumption was still barely 29mpg. So maybe a diesel will be a better option for a bigger family. And also this dual clutch gearbox was in the town not very smooth esp. moving slowly in the traffic. It's either really slow or too aggressive. Many times moving in the steeper hill, just with a tiny bit of throttle there was lots of wheelspin. But once moving was great. So except the gearbox and slightly higher fuel economy was really good engine.

    Opening the rear passenger door is problematic in the rain as the rain will run off from the rubber seal on the door on to either the passenger or the side of the seat - something my dealership is now aware of- I’ve spoken to a few owners and they have experienced the same

    • @bestaidy1
      @bestaidy1 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Me too - just upgraded my AMG line which is really basic to the premium. I think differences between premium and premium plus will be keyless entry ( recognise your key) panoramic sunroof would be the main feature I would think

  • @derekp070401

    Very interesting. Indeed, the 200 lacks of power, wherefore it struggles a little bit on the change of gear. I drove today the 250 and it really is a huge difference. If you want to run it on gasoline and not on diesel, the 250 is worth the price difference between it and the 200. The GLB 35 shall be lot of more fun I have been told. But that‘s another price level…

    We had a A200 prior to our latest GLB200 and what we like is all the controls are the same which makes it easy to transition.
    It’s not quite as powerful as the A200 but it’s ok!
    Can’t fault it!
    Would have loved the GLB 35 amg but you can’t have everything, oh well , may be next time.

    I've just had this car for a day as a courtesy car and it is just right car. Big from outside and smaller inside. Yes. It is small in side. Even front seats are small for my back. Driving is very good and confortable . Not much power, but it is accetable. 🤣🤣🤣. When you used to have a power car it is very difficult to go with small enging power cars. I do recomend it, but it is not for me. 🤣👍
