Just picked up my GLB AGM line petrol yesterday, first impressions love it, seats are magic the vision far better than the GLB that I traded in. if you can, go for as much technical stuff you can afford. I can even slide my canoe in and shut the boot.
Love the car glb. Good to drive. However I have had a frustrating experience with its oil level sensors. The old system of checking oil levels with the traditional stick with upper limit and lower limit marks on it, is no more...! Instead, this is replaced with a "sensor" on the dashboard. This sensor takes a good few minutes drive to tell you the oil level (preciously you could just open bonnet and check oil levels with that metal stick.). Besides if you overfill it with oil , say even a 100ml extra, this sensor keeps annoying on screen and tells you to reduce the oil level (again after a gap of 10 min drive) for which I had to revisit the garage, who kindly drained some oil . All of this exercise took a good 3 hrs time of min, including travelling time to garage. Why can't we have the same old oil level check sticks with upper and lower oil level marks? Of course this applies to all car makes who have replaced the traditional oil level check stick with so called " modern sensors " on screen. Can we have the oil level stick back in the bonnet please. .......!
Excellent video, very well presented. If only this guy was on Top Gear it would have been so much better (Top Gear I mean, not this video). Jeremy and co. would have had this thing going sideways round a track.... which is pointless. A very informative video and well balanced, actually showed practical features and explained why this model exists. Well done.
You’re very welcome. For someone who has worked for MB passenger cars and commercial in the UK for a number of years I can tell you that your videos are the best on TH-cam and your reporting skills are superb and pitched just right. It’s irrelevant whether or not you like the product you’re reviewing it’s all about a detailed and balanced report and yours was spot on. I’ll be keeping my eye out for more and, of course, I’ve subscribed to your channel.
it eats too much gasoline no matter petrol or diesel especially on higher speeds but for UK will be fine when there speeds on highways are like on field of corn
3 rows. lmk if any more ? the real question is what's the point of benz? They put all their efforts in electric, but let the gas rot on the lot. The cars are awful MPG. the glb is about the only aceptable. yes a benz, but every one s/b a hybrid. The EV craze may be mandated in some places, but I can't justify a benz unless it's an ok hybrid. no ev's any more for me.
Yes, the GLB is smaller than the GLC because the GLC is bigger. (Albeit GLB marginally taller.) brochure will tell you. GLS and the Vauxhall Zafira also have 7 seats...
@@GoksCarLounge Alright:) In that case there's a reason for the car's existence.. I guess. It's mainly a daily driver for the wifey to pick up up to 7 kids.
I just bought the GLB SUV 2022 in red & white seater I love it 😀

I’m so glad to see y’all posting vids again!
Thank you :)

Lovechild between GLA and GLC and alphabetic continuity… you got me there! Haha!

Just picked a 220 Amg up absolute belter imo
Congrats and enjoy my friend!
Nice Vid.
FYI you can lower the Floor of the boot in the GLB about 10cm...it then actually has more packing capability than the GLC (ca. +20 Liter).
Cool, thanks
In the 5 seater version only
Looks nice but in black and with the Night package looks better.
Is that an added option to choose to get the steering wheel on the right side of the car?
The wheel is on the ‘right’ side 😉
Does the GLB 200 have a 360 camera?

8:01 dog steals the show - great video 👍🏻
Haha yes agreed. Dog people are the best people after dogs. Thank you Damo!
Loved the review, does it have that SUV high up driving position?
Thanks Brian! :) it does yes, slightly lower than a GLC
