    🇺🇸 Did you know a oil manufacturer can call a lubricant a Full Synthetic when it's only 25% synthetic? AMSOIL is different because it is 100% Synthetic and has a higher film strength keeping the metal parts separated. AMSOIL allows less friction, less heat, less wear on the component. AMSOIL Signature Series motor oil has guaranteed protection for up to 25,000 miles or 1 year of normal driving.

    Great job!!! You have done more to promote Amsoil than anyone I know of.
    Great job doing the oil analysis showing people what the oil can do.
    The benefits of using Amsoil are not as apparent on newer cars. My car is 22 years old, I bought it used and I have slowly been fixing it. Since switching the car to Amsoil products I have seen huge improvements.
    I need to do oil analysis on my car and truck.
    I also own a 2003 duramax.

    Amsoil has always been premium. I know someone who uses a couple companies for oil analysis and runs the 25,000 mile Amsoil signature I think and last I knew they were at 38,000 miles with a good TBN left and were going to retest at 43,000. I wouldn't recommend doing that because not everyone is doing the oil testing with the same equipment. So could be different results. Suffice to say it's a great oil. And ends up being cheaper over the life of the oil. If I drove a lot of highway miles in a year like I used to it would be my go to oil. I noticed the oil is brown on your glove but you can't tell lubricity and base retention by the color of the oil. Only oil analysis can see what's there. I think friend in Joplin who uses Amsoil signature uses the Wix filters and changes them in the cycle according to how they're rated. So he is adding some makeup oil. But it's still fewer cents per mile over the duration.

      Thomas, 100% Synthetic, Film Strength, Shear Strength, & TBN (Oil's ability to ward off acids that build up in your oil over time); these enable AMSOIL to perform at a top level even at increased drain intervals. Schaeffer's does great but for a much shorter drain interval.

    Just in case you didn't notice it that oil filter goes on the engine vertically. Which means there's no reason for a drain back valve. It is worthless on that particular engine.. Unless you're going to be driving the car on its side all the time.

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The anti-dreamback valve can get stuck open and if it does it can have a pressure loss and that's the big difference with the amsoil is that valve won't deform.
      also the media is a higher flow so it'll actually flow quicker on cold start which helps protect the motor compared to the OEM filter.
      You'll also see the efficiency ratings on the filters here - www.amsoil.com/p/eaoilfilt/?zo=5331179

    • @Syntheticoilprotection

      Yeah that high temperature really beats up the lubricants because every 18 degrees hotter a fluid runs hit oxidizes a double the rate it exponentially breaks down

    That engine takes at least 1 quart every 2,000 miles -- that's how bad the engine tolerances are. Just read the manual. And that's on a new engine. That engine has had at least 12 quarts of new oil put in it over 25,000 miles. No wonder it looks so good.

    Wow the AMSOIL protection keeps your car from being impregnated by engine wear and tear. Thats why I use AMSOIL Signature Series, when I put it in, it keeps my Corvette a Virgin of engine wear and & tear. Thanks AMSOIL! But AMSOIL does tear one thing you guys forgot to mention, and we don't want to leave this out, AMSOIL wears and tears other oil Brands a new derier. My motto is once you go AMSOIL you won't go back! To lube your goodies with anything else is just uncivilized.

    I thought that its incorrect to take sample from drain hole. Amsoil sells the pump to pull from top. Also, just seen a video with banks that said "do not take sample from bottom"

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've tried taking samples from both places it really doesn't make a difference.
      You'll see on the one video where I do my car Corvette and you'll see how I do it at the very bottom and the only thing you might get is a little bit more silica if dirt falls into it from off the bolt so the only thing you would see is more silicone or perhaps any contaminants.
      That's really the worst case scenario

    I've always run full synthetic and going 10k miles doesn't scare me nowadays since filters have gotten much better over time. Lexus GS300 with 261k miles. I do a lot of highway but it's still 80 mph 3k rpm driving. Then again it's the legendary 2JZ inline 6. Same for my Sequoia with the 2UZ 4.7, I go 10k miles between changes no problem. No I don't run AMSOIL......I run WalMart house brand Supertech - either the 10k or 20k rated 5W30 full synthetic, and Fram's higher end filters - the 20k or 25k rated ones depending on what's on the shelf. Look, I'm sure AMSOIL has an excellent wear protection package. I'm not sure it's significantly better than my $20 for 5 quarts of Supertech full synthetic. It's not about the money, hell I spend $12 a quart for Mobil1 10W40 Full Synthetic motorcycle oil.....for a 20 year old Honda Rancher that would probably run on butter and coconut oil. $15 a quart doesn't scare me away. It's the whole thing about AMSOIL having to be sold like some MLM cult that bothers me instead. It may damn well be the best, but the cult mentality and having a whole youtube channel selling it to me is a huge turn off. If it's legit I want to see the nuts and bolts of the operation where the chemists working for AMSOIL are buying their base oils and actually putting their magic combination of 11 different herbs and spices into the mixer and bottling AMSOIL on the spot. I'll bet a crisp $20 that AMSOIL is bottled right next to a few other well known names in an undisclosed plant run by $15/hr employees. Prove me wrong.

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes so if you're running the signature series Amsoil you're good to go a lot longer so all you do is just reset the oil change light.
      Always important to check your oil level and make sure the oil looks good if it's really really dark you want to change your oil filter because that means your oil filters already full and it can't hold anymore contaminants.
      Also I would do a bottle of Pi cleaner in the fuel system.
      And I also like to use the upper cylinder lubricant every single full tank of gas because it helps your car run stronger smoother You'll also get better fuel mileage and your engine will last longer your rings will last longer and you'll have less fuel contamination going into your motor oil because of the seal around the upper rings

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      On the first oil change I would do a filter change early because a lot of the build-up and carbon will end up in the filter so it's good to change that at about 3 to 5,000 mi the very first oil change went switching over to amsoil.

    • @Syntheticoilprotection

      Also I would do an amsoil engine flush as well.

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  ปีที่แล้ว

      Some great questions Ben so there's nothing you have to do to switch to Amsoil you can just put it right in your car there's a couple things that I like to do that make it work a lot better and that's the engine flush you'll see a lot of videos on the channel under improving and Reviving the performance of your engines with the right fluids that playlist is on the home page here on the channel and all you would do is get the pi cleaner which cleans your valves and injectors that's the fuel additive the red bottle and then as far as adding oil it depends on the vehicle some vehicles have oil consumption that's where the oil is burned goes out the tailpipe in that case if your vehicle is burning oil you would need to add some throughout the interval also if you're driving in severe service I highly recommend changing the filter at 12,500 miles and then topping it off with oil and then you can continue to go the other 12,500 so you always still check your dipstick on a regular interval.
      This will give you the latest promotion on the parts bowl and you'll also have the 25% off as the PC member and if you ever have any questions when you use my link that'll attach me to you so in the future I can always answer all your questions about improving the performance and lifespan of your vehicles by choosing the right fluids as your independent Amsoil dealer😃☕️👍

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Oil consumption AKA oil burning is normal the oil evaporates and it also can be alone by the piston rings out the exhaust pipe very common most Carr burn about 1 quart of oil every 3 to 5 thousand miles.
      If you burn 1 quart of oil in 1000 miles you have a problem with your motor

    I have a Subaru forester 2020 with 5200 miles on it I'm getting ready to do my oil change. I was wondering should I swap to AMSOIL 0-W20 synthetic or go with OEM Idemitsu branded oil? No one has included idemitsu in these online tests...can you compare? I didn't burn any oil so far on my new car, which is normal but Subaru has had issues with that in the past. I know Subaru says change the oil every 6k miles but I wondered if I would be ok with a 15000k-25,000 oil change interval.

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you're running OEM oil and filter on a turbo Subaru I would change the oil at 2000 miles...
      If you're running the Amsoil I would change it at 15,000 miles I would do an oil filter change at 7500.
      . That's if I was running like Signature Series because those cars hold very little oil and they have a lot of heat from the turbo

      Well any older car is going to use the zrod high zinc with flat tappet cams that's just the way it is as far as the viscosity all you have to do is just find whatever viscosity it takes most likely it's either 10 W 30 or it's 20 W 50😉

      The Amsoil warranty is one year or twenty five thousand miles or 700 idling hours whichever comes first if you do the oil analysis you can go well beyond and that's what we did on our good man Jay Z 18 wheeler.

      The most important thing is that you check your oil level monthly or sooner and you keep on top of what the oil looks like and you keep your oil filter clean.
      If the oil filter gets dirty in full you'll see the oil start to get darker.

    If a car owner claims he only changes the oil every 25000 miles, that's a red flag and a reason for suspicion, no matter what the oil analysis says.
    If nothing else, it's a clear indication of neglect & flat-out failure to adhere to the manufacturer's required service interval.

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      With amsoil it's a different type of motor oil it's not like any other oil that the OEMs use.
      With the amsoil you have that option but you do not need to go that many miles.
      This will highlight some of the differences you'll see compared to a lot of other lubricants.
