Thank you for watching! Do you have any tips and tricks you'd like to add? 😃
You have been sharing many videos to improve battery health and make your iPhone more secure-a must-watch for those with 15s. Personally, l remove all notifications on social media platforms. It helps me to be more productive - spend less time on my phone.
And l am officially an iPhone 15 Pro user kkkkkk
bo_ngiee
add feature like screen-time passcode, which has various option like don't allow account changes, password changes etc.
good for privacy

@jemwell
Appreciate the video as always Dion! I agree with others in that I hope you can include tips regarding use of e-sims as well. That said, love the video. Keep it coming
How did you hide the clock and other icons from status bar?
Do not activate: ''erase data after 10 attempts'', if you have kids😁
PS tnx for the tips
Nice work Dion!
I am an electrochemist, in "Best Way To Charge" section, charging with low watt charger does not improve the health, rather it destroy it, the best way to charge the battery is to charge with optimized charger.
these tips are useful for preserving battery life, thank you so much!
Glad it was helpful! Happy Holidays
Such great tips! I sat with my phone and slowly followed all the tips! Thanks so much!
You're so welcome!
I did too! Very useful…
This is a GREAT video.. no fluff and actual great tips and tricks.
Thanks so much!
@k.p.vyas
I'm glad you found the video helpful! Adjusting the depth in photos is indeed a fantastic feature, allowing for more creative control over the blur and focus points. Apple did a great job in providing users with this level of customization. Thanks again for your kind words, and I'm thrilled you enjoyed the tips! ❤
Nice job! I just ordered the iPhone 15 pro . @Sawyer_bozak
Love your videos can't stop watching them
That is the spirit. Thanks!!
Thank you for the tips. I got 15PM 3 weeks ago so these tips are very helpful. Thanks! 😊❤

Awesome! Thank you!
I definitely learned some useful things…Thank you! I have subscribed.
really helpful....but thank goodness that TH-cam allows you to choose a slower speed to listen/watch.
Thanks for this video, it had a lot of great tips and was very concise.

Hi Jeremy, thanks for your comments and suggestion. Best ,Dion
Hey dude, I’m not sure if you did it or if TH-cam is doing you dirty, but there was so many adverts during that upload, it really was a pain to watch. If you’ve done that yourself, I please beg you to not do that again, it was way too often, and I genuinely enjoyed your content with that many steps in between segments. It would mean I would avoid your consent going forward. Obviously I’m just one person, but I can imagine that would be a universal truth. Otherwise, amazing tent, and I hope that it wasn’t TH-cam do you dirty?
He did it himself
Buy TH-cam premium then duuude
@@keire2550hell no. Waste of money.
Get premium it is LIFE CHANGING. Get on a family plan with a friend. $11 each per month ❤
@keire2550 extremely expensive if you didn't buy it via "VPN in Turkey" last summer.
@stephennerus
Nice video.. helpful tips, for me first thing I'd try out once I get my hands on one is the adjustment of depth in photos
Apple did a great job giving us control on how much blur we want and focus point after taken a photo.
Thanks again for the tips man❤
My pleasure. Happy Holidays

How about charging it on the magsafe dock every night? Do you also recommend 5/10W adapter for this?

@bertha kile very helpful video u have definitely covered alot of my concerns .
@mcloviecuya
One feature I particularly like is that you now get more depth control when taking portraits. In addition, the new phone offers 5x optical zoom and up to 25x digital zoom. As a novice photographer, this is something that I’ll certainly fully utilize. Happy Holidays, and congratulations on your wedding!
Many thanks for your feedback and your congratulations. Happy Holidays to you as well!
@tobicelebrity
All these tips are very helpful, but the most helpful for me is saving battery by turning off notifications. It's like having a customized do not disturb at all times. Great video and thanks for the tips.
Happy to help!
Copying text from a photo is so futuristic to me 😂 its freaking cool and turning photos into gif
thanks for this video
Thanks. That was helpful.

Is it adviseanle to keep the iphone always in low power mode?
Great tips ❤. I am going to use in my new iphone.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the tips.

@mutlsam
I recently swapped to Apple from years of Samsung experience. One thing I really loved about Samsung as someone who’s so clingy and sensitive about battery health was that Samsung had an option called Protect Battery which would basically limit the charging to 85%. Before switching to Apple, I also saw they’ve brought it to the iPhones as 80% limit with iOS 17. Though, because of budgeting, I bought an iPhone 12 and apparently it doesn’t have the option to limit the charging. So I’m having second thoughts about this device. Afterall, my essential reason to buy an iPhone was because I recently owned a Mac.
These battery limits don’t actually preserve battery life. This misconception is based on the idea that charging your phone to 100% completes a cycle and causes battery degradation, but that’s not how it works. A battery cycle completes when 100% of the battery has been charged, not when the battery has been charged to 100%. There’s a difference.
My iPhone 8 can do it, are you sure?
@@Brian-wp9er Charging multiple times from 60% - 80% is no different than charging once from 30% - 100% in terms of battery cycles, that's true.
However, charging cycles is not the reason for limiting the charge:
Li-Ion batteries have essentially three factors that severely hurt battery health: Heat, time spent at maximum or minimum charge, and overcharging. Heat is regulated by limiting the charging speeds as well as performance, time spent at either extreme is limited by placing the 0 and 100% marks well within range, meaning the batterie is physically never fully charged or discharged (at the cost of capacity actually available to use), and overcharging is regulated by using smart charging protocols. However, even with all the precautions, the close you get to 100%, the more heat inevitably you're gonna generate, and as long as the phone is powered on, it will draw power and will therefor quickly draw current from the cable if it is connected. So if you leave your phone plugged in, you're gonna have a mild vesion of all 3 death sentences at the same time. One way to counter this is to stop charging closer to 80%, and charge until 100% a lot slower, and only just before you unplug. This limits heat generated, as well as shortening the time spent at 100% and the time it keeps drawing power at 100%. This is what optimized charging does. However, if you then go on to not use your phone for the first 8 hours, it's gonna spend a lot of time at 100% regardless, and since you didn't even use it, it was unnecessary. In that case, simply never even charging to 100% would have been more gentle on the battery, which is what the 80% limit does.
Another usecase would be for maintained usage while plugged in. So for example, a demo device, or a phone that's in constant use, like as a navigation device, needs to be powered during use, which is already not ideal. Charging and using generates heat, doing both at the same time generates even more heat. And charging a hot battery is degrading it even faster than just being hot. So limiting the charge to 80% means at least the battery is not in the critical zone where it generates the most heat and degrades the fastest due to holding close to maximum charge. It's not gonna change the fact that you're using while charging, but doing that at a steady 80% is a lot better than at a constant 100%.
In general the closer the battery is to 50% the better for its longevity. That's why long time storage of Li-Ion batteries should be done at 50%-60%
Hey! Loved the video. Just wanted to ask you how do you get the clock ( widget ) in black colour?
This video is actually useful omfg the lockdown note is the best fraud
When the phone is in silent mode, and an incoming call comes in, is it possible to deactivate the silent mode by pressing the action button (so that it rings the phone during the call)?
@joshjeebles
I don't think there's anything I could recommend for tips, I feel like you covered pretty much everything. Maybe you could make a video on how to apply custom icons?
Er.. are there any tips for storing sensitive data such as user name and password. I can hardly remember 10 different passwords for different login.
Excuse me sir ,
My face in appstore is not working in iphone 15pro.they are asking for apple id password.can you suggest a method for it? Please
Ty Mijo, I really appreciate all the info 💕🦗🦗🦗
You are so welcome
@kenedbac
Thanks for this video! Really informative on how we can use the phone properly. Great review!!!
thank you, liked the video!
Glad you liked it!
Thanks G❤
Just picked up my first pro max iPhone (you guessed it, the 15 Pro Max!), and I’m loving it a lottt
Great to hear, please enjoy that beautiful phone
@trainspottingreels such a great video thank you!!
Thank you very much!
Hmmm. The “Show in Status Bar” mute icon doesn’t appear for me.
Edit: If you have a focus mode set it will show instead of the mute icon.
How would you stick the Magstick to the wall? Or wood desk?
100k lets goo!
Thanks for tip any guidelines
Always welcome
Brilliant thank you .
Thanks for the compliment
Very useful. Thanks
My pleasure. Happy Holidays
Fantastic video 👏👏
Thank you very much!
@misterketley i wish the “80% limit” charging feature came to earlier models also.
You mentioned that wireless charging is not good for battery health, but you promote magbak's wireless charger. So is it good or not good?
The best way to charge is wired, low wattage and during the night. That is what I do, but at the same time I have a fast charger for when needed as I do have wireless for convenience. From a battery health prospect not ideal, but at times there are other considerations.
how does your indicators not appear at the top of your screen? i love the clean look
The Action Button is completely programmable and customisable. Great, I want mine to take a screen shot. NO, it doesn't do that.
why would you want a second shortcut for that
@@uSkizzik Where's the first shortcut?
@@Jpgundarun as with every phone - holding down the power button and the volume up button at the same time
@@uSkizzik My phone is in a flip removable case and it's a bit of a pain pressing two buttons at the same time. It would be easier with a single button but you cant program the action button to do this.
@@Jpgundarun It's easier on android since they have the volume and power buttons on the same side. Yet another Apple design flaw ig.
Nah im deff watching this in september with the 15 pro sale
I just got the 15 pro this will help me
Great to hear
@missslindsay
Thank you for the tips, do you have reviews for Iphone 15 pro max?
th-cam.com/video/Ijdnr6P2UjA/w-d-xo.html Happy Holidays
if i have optimized battery charging on my iphone 13 is it still fine to plug it in overnight?
yes, low wattage.
Do u think that the 80% battery limit is actually useful?
and i tend to permenantly keep low power mode on, is it harmful for the phone?
Even i do charge my Samsung A50 till 80% and then drain it till red line (10%-15%) and my battery saver is always on and it seems that this cycle sure does help in extended battery life over few years 💯 it is not harmful
Lets see what Dion has to say on this..
There’s no way of telling if the 80% option is useful until you’ve surpassed 6 to 8 months of use, my 14 pro dropped from 100 to 99% after six months, I’m using the 80% option to see if it takes longer to drop
@@josephpepe2607any update now?
Yes. Lithium batteries have three enemies - heat, full charging, battery drain.
Kepp your phone between 80% and 20%, and your battery will surely last a lot longer
Excellent Video
Thank you very much!
Happy 99.8K subacribers sir🎉
Thank you, in the meantime 100K+. Happy Holidays
To maintain to high battery health percentage, keep your device between 50 - 80 percent
@ rapkyrpang
The 15 lineup this year has definitely improved as compared to last generations
do you have a recommended 10W charger adaptor?
yes. its good for protecting batry life
I "upgraded" from my XS and I have to say so far I really hate the sharp edges, its super uncomfortable to hold. The hardware upgrades seem relatively minor overall.
@s.poddar
Did comment on your previous video for 14 pro to upgrade from 6s.
This feels like a bit low 😅tbh . But would be happy to get any one of these. 😊😊
Mine arrives tomorrow I can’t wait. I chose titanium blue. Where is the best place to get a good phone case?
the apple store lmao
@@rouinz there is no Apple Store near me
Apple store or ebay
love you videos
@yeyelsho
Do you perhaps know which apps is best for custom widgets? And another one, what interactions can I have with the iPad and iPhone?
Hi, sorry, have no correct reply to this question
nice video!
The bit that blew my mind in this video is the fact you can hold your finger down obj the space bar to move the typing cursor 🤯 😂
:)
Looking forward to iPhone info
Hey Dion, @Trausner here. For 8 yeas I’ve been using my iPhone 6s Plus and was still hesitant to upgrade to the 15 pro. I am not sure what it is. The last feature i was waiting for was USBC. Now it’s here but all i needed to do with a phone i could do with my iPhone 6s Plus. That included filming for my youtube channel. No one ever complained about the quality. Im speaking in the past coz, in one of my recent adventures in Brazil, we had to go swimming with all our gear and my iPhone 6s Plus and other things didnt survive. My Girlfriend’s iPhone 11 did survive. The 6s was apples last phone that wasn’t waterproofed and that is what killed it… well, did i move to the iphone 15? Well… at the moment im trying myself in doing things without phone, just Apple Watch and ipad. It’s an interesting challenge. Thank you for your videos though, maybe they might be useful soon ;)
@tematotherescue
80% charging limit is such a cool feature if you have enough room to make it through the day without recharging
based on reviews, it seems like 15 Pro isn't exactly the phone to turn it on though :(
@cam2go - do you think it's safe to not use a case with the 15 pro?
well, if you are very careful, but, better safe than sorry
100k subscribers 🥳🎉🎊🍾
🎉 Yes, a nice milestone!
I thought you just said it was better to use low voltage cables instead of setting them on charging devices which cause excessive heat and wear to the battery.
Thanks
Welcome
@Diamondisnthere
Great video, all of these features are stunning!
@ 25:20 parents or anyone around small children who love pushing buttons may not want the "Erase Data" setting on for 10 failed unlock attempts 😅. I'm speaking from experience.
Absolutely great video, thanks for your efforts.
Thanks for the feedback and for the warning. I have no children yet, but will keep this in mind!
Is it true that non wired charging is bad for my device? cause i've just ordered one non-wired charging thing:)
No, it is not bad. For battery health and longevity I recommend slow charging at low wattage, but for the occasional faster charging and for convenience I also use non wired charging
@@DionMediathank you:)
I did everything what you said for that phone
Hi, I hope that it was useful
@ripsushitrash
idky i never thought abt how widgets can drain battery, the interactive ones on the home screen r super cool tho
@mmwansajr
Great video as always shuddeboom. I'd like to know what exactly an app be tracking and why? And when would it be necessary to permit it to?
Great question, I would turn it off, as you rarely need it and it is mainly used for targeted advertising. Even apps that say you need it, are not reflecting reality
Did not know about not allowing when locked stuff
I was not aware until now that you don’t need to unlock your phone to put it in airplane mode.
That is a huge security gap lol.
Disabled center control in faceID after this. Thanks.
My pleasure, Happy Holidays
