I’ve just upgraded to a 15 pro after using an iphone 8 for 6 years, and personally i feel that nobody talks about how well furnished it feels having the dynamic island. Although it is an insignificant feature i think it is probably the best year to upgrade. I’ve probably ran through 20+ lightning cables throughout the years, usb c is a whole other way to use it.
Usbc has features to use, too. Like recording to an SSD. You can record any kind of video on the 128gb base models of the pros if you do this whereas otherwise, you couldn't. That's not the only thing you can do either. Usbc is nice.

You really need to try the moment lenses for macro. Don't know how much you will shoot macro on your phone, but the physical lens makes a huge huge difference. I wish apple could replicate that macro look using software. The difference is huge.
right now my action button is use to toggle on and off my celular data, when i’m in a location that have wifi i don’t like that ios still keeps trying to connect to mobile network because this impacts on battery life, so i always turn them off, and when i go out ios tells me that i don’t have a internet connection, so now i just press the button and problem solved, it’s not that fast compared to just turn on and off on the control center but is easier nonetheless.
I have come from a Pixel 8 pro and a long-time Android user back to ios after about 12 years of Android phones, to an iPhone 15 pro max in January of this year, and now a couple months later this phone has been great other than a few bugs here and there that are annoying but not experience breaking. Now all ios needs in my opinion is the upgraded Siri and upgraded AI coming in ios 18 and some more features and customization options and it would be 💯

No background app refresh, no apps in the background, 5G off, system services disabled that would eat battery in background, several many other background related things that would drain the battery. DO NOT BUY THE IPHONE 15 PRO. Mine is 5 days old, in fact it’s 2 months old from the factory and first ever used 5 days ago. I ordered it online from Apple and I’m not the only one who’s had terrible battery on the 15 Pro. I’m probably just going to send this one back and use my old iPhone XR since it lasts longer.

so the notes from ios can be read on samsung using smartswitch app?

15 Pro is weaker than 14 Pro and lower weight mostly because it is made out of aluminum with a thin layer of titanium rather than steel of the 14 Pro.
