For me, the DD6 is the best PURE digital pedal from the Boss compact Series. No analog or tape modes. Digital at its best. The Warp mode is phenomenal. Tonally, it lacks some warmth if compared with the DD2/MIJ DD3, but it sounds clear and absolutely killer. I´m glad I still have mine in pristine condition, with its box lol
This is one of the delay pedals I’ve bought and sold multiple times but I love the tone of it and it’s versatility. Thanks for reminding me to purchase this again
Also try a DD5. The 6 has more flexibility, but the DD5 is my personal favorite DD from Boss. It's just so crystalline in the repeats. Arpeggios and similar passages just sound so good with it and when used with dirt, the delays get out of the way better than any other digital delay I've ever heard. Works very well playing leads/solos with stuff like Big Muffs or Rats.
I saw the lead guitarist for Alpha Blondy play a solo ending with a fast delay on warp and I had to have one immediately! If not very soon. Fuck all the other modes. WARP ALL DAY, ALL YEAR ROUND!

Just added this to my tiny board in favor of other newer delays. Great video. Tap tempo's a bit finicking but acceptable.
i would love to see a re-release of this with a dedicate tap tempo jack. would be nearly flawless.
