AT4X owner , love it , your right probably would have went with the darker interior and its less money , the HUD is nice but not nessessary. zr2 best bang for the buck
You are correct - She is a bad ass truck! While you won't be able to pick up a 2024 Desert Boss, the Chevy ordering platform allows you to be able to equip a ZR2 to almost Desert Boss specs for about the same price as a 2023 Desert Boss. Or you could shop the Chevy Inventory and find an unspoken for true Desert Boss and do a Fly and buy like I did. Either way, you will have one Bad Ass truck! Spot on comments on the 2024 Bison. I forsee a mod to move that spare under the bed where it belongs in the Bison's future.
I ordered a 24 with most of the options that were on the desert boss. I was excited to be able to get the underbody mounted cameras. Came in under the desert boss price 🤘🏼. Fly and buy can be a great adventure!
Trifecta tuned 19 Zr2 gasser owner here. Appreciate your honesty on the turbo 4. Iv driven a couple Silverados with the 2.7 and walked away feeling kinda eeehhhh its ok, adequate but nothing to special. The torque is nice, but lacks on the top end of the rpms imo. That said I still plan on trading my 19 for 24 later this year😆. Hopefully in the Colorado it'll scoot a little quicker. I know exactly what you mean, definitely different feeling kind of engines.
Yes very very different. That’s the best way I can put it. I do feel like it should hold first gear a tad longer. I may be getting behind the wheel of a Silverado ZR2, I will be curious to feel the difference between the mid vs full size.
@@zr2girlz658 I suspect Trifecta will be or already is working on a tune for the 2.7 engine and trans drivability. We'll see. Keep us posted on a Silverado Zr2 review!
Love the desert boss. But the new 2.7L is superior to the previous gen 4 cylinder, the 3.6L V6 AND the 2.8L duramax, in terms of performance and practical usage.
Excellent commentary! Enjoy the Desert Boss!

315/70/17s (Same as the 24 Bison) fit the standard ZR2 with no modification with the stock wheel offset. I have had them on my 23 ZR2 for 6k miles
There ya go folks. I stand corrected 🤘🏼
@zr2girlz658 also the spare 35 does fit under the truck in the original location with just a tiny bit of heat shield "adjustment"
@@Highflyingdad yes I did see that if you “adjust” it you could potentially get it to fit. Have you done this to confirm?

@@zr2girlz658 Can't wait to see what you ordered! My fly and buy gave me a nice 600+ miles to get to know my Desert Boss. Good luck with your new ZR2!
