No truer words were spoken!! I laughed out loud when you said that! "and I imagine if you guys are like me out there you're also watching this video even though you've watched a million other videos on this because you just want to watch it". This makes a million and one! I'll be ordering my blue 2024 Zr2 in a couple of months! Thanks for the video.
Sharp looking truck! I think the Colorado and Canyon are best looking mid size trucks. I traded my 4 year old Gladiator for a Lariat Powerboost and after 12k miles it’s been flawless. Using the onboard generator to power my camper and house with a transfer switch is a great option.
Thanks for the comment! Glad your Powerboost is working out for you. Nothing by beats that 7.2kw inverter. I’d still have mine now if it wasn’t one of the unreliable ones. I might’ve taken the chance on another one if the prices weren’t so much higher than when I bought in ‘22.
@@davewilson8308 I looked at a ‘23 Powerboost around Christmas but just couldn’t make it work. I imagine one day I’ll wind up with one again but happy with the ZR2 so far. At least I’m back in a truck!
Yeah, if money was no issue I’d absolutely get one. They are very cool and the 35’s look perfect on that truck. It’s hard to justify another $10k+, though. I think the ZR2 is a relative value, especially compared to the Canyon AT4X, which just has a couple additional things the Colorado doesn’t for another $7K or so. Perhaps if I get some extra cash I’ll look into trying to fit 35’s on the ZR2, although I know there could be running issues if you don’t do some adjustments. Thanks for the comment.
So that's how you turn on the headlights! I was recalibrating the ADAS in a customer's Colorado the other day and could not figure out how to turn on/off his headlights, lol. His was the Trail Boss and was a nice driving truck!
If I was smart I would’ve bought a trail boss, because I wouldn’t have paid as much, but am glad I have a couple creature comforts the TB doesn’t have. Thanks for the comment!
I watch a lot of these Colorado ZR2 videos and have to wonder.. do any new Colorado owners posting videos about them actually read the owners manual? I have a Bison on order and that's the first thing I'll do is read the manual and highlight important information.
The funny thing is every night before I go to bed I read a bit of the manual. So far, I’ve learned a couple things I wouldn’t have known otherwise, like how much standing water the truck can drive through, and at what interval the oil should be changed. I’d say you could get by not reading it and also still enjoy a long life with your truck. To each their own!
Possibly thinking of getting this. Bed lighting would be helpful. Wonder how it does in the winter
This thing is a beast in the winter. The stock wrangler MT’s are a decent tire for snow even if not a fully dedicated winter tire.

@@KevinExclamationPoint My Powerboost is a 2023, guess Ford got the bugs out after 22. The prices for truck are just bunkers!

Have a great weekend and thanks for sharing, from one Kevin! to another!
Same to you, Kevin! We Kevin’s must stick together.
Saw a Black Bison at the Houston Auto Show last month, man was it a great looking truck.

I am going to buy one soon and your thoughts on every day driver not off road . I really love the looks too.

I have a deal in the works for a 2023 ZR2. I have already been looking through the on line owners manual.
@@mikegreen8710 nice! Hope you get your truck soon.
@@KevinExclamationPoint Thank you sir. It’s 500 miles away. The only Glacier Blue I could find where the salesman responded back.
@@mikegreen8710 wow, that’s a ways to go but worth the trip! I’m lucky mine wasn’t far from me thankfully.
Not sure you picked the right truck if you were worried about gas mileage.
I say in the video that I am not worried about MPG. Did you watch the whole video?
@@KevinExclamationPoint I did but you made all kinds of references in the video about mileage.
😂😂😂😂 did you say Bizen??
