I had a blind spot monitoring issue with mine. When the blind spot monitoring wasn't working properly nothing on the drivers door worked including windows, door locks, mirrors. it was rectified with a new window switch and some reprograming. Love the 23 ZR2 and I'm glad mine has been working perfect since the fix. I'm looking at getting a 2 inch lift in the front and 1 inch in the back, along with some 35's, but waiting to see what yours looks like lifted:) Love the channel and keep the content coming.

20 years and 4 silverados between my brother and stepdad, I've just witnessed chevy be shady or down right crooked anytime there was warranty work and/or recalls. It's the biggest hesitation I have putting the colorado zr2 on my short list for truck later this year.
Hooking a scan tool up to view the codes won’t hurt anything. Just don’t erase them if you are having a dealership view them. And I do agree the GMC looks better.
How can you say this is the best truck when it has the issues it has? CEL's and other electrical issues are flaws that should not be happening on a new truck or one that's "the best"

My everyday is an 02 ZR2 Blazer I’ve owned for the past 6 years and absolutely love the old truck, BTW, it has the 5speed manual transmission which they only made a handful of instead of the notorious 4L60 slippyE😂😂

I LOVE the Colorado/Canyon body style, they look amazing but I'm leaning really hard towards buying the Nissan Frontier Pro 4X. Seems like a super reliable truck and still looks pretty good. I'm just hoping I can put 33s and a 4 inch lift on it and everything clear ok.
Check the wiring behind the spare tire heat shield. There's a TSB for it. Heat shield bends from the spare moving around and starts cutting wires when offroading.
I am still glad I have the gen 2 model Colorado zr2 well actually I went and bought another one last week .my 1st one is a 2021 extended cab the one I just bought is a 2022 crew cab I have all ready lifted it and larger tires I am putting a front roof light bar on it this week, both trucks are sand dune metallic . I think this model may some day be a collectors item but even if they dont become that, I will have enough of the same truck to last a long time because I dont like the look of the new model it looks like a silverado . and like you are finding out, the new models are nothing but problems ,I have been watching other channels that have them and its one problem after another. I am looking forward to seeing your mods on this one ,if you can have the time to do it in between all the issuses you keep having with it
I've been noticing GM is having a lot of electrical issues with their newer trucks. I wouldn't buy one and I do own an 2013 GMC Sierra 1500 that has been a very good truck for me ever since I bought it 5 years ago.

But as a Ford guy, I LOVE being able to sh*t all over Chevy so I'm more than happy to try to convince you to get a Ranger.... or even a Tacoma, I usually hate imports but even a Taco is better than a Chevy at this point 😂😂

GM is crap. Their service is crap. I am now happily driving my first EVER Ford (2015 F150 2.7L EcoBoost 4wd SuperCrew) and it's doing well at 140,000 miles. Still very impressed with all of the Toyota's I've owned (all made in America) and especially their service. Hands down. American greatness has shifted... sadly.

NEVER LEFT ME ON THE ROAD SIDE. Oo. At 159000. Used less than a half quart oil in 5000 miles. ?? Why do I love them ??? Buy 1. And u will find out. Had over 12 Toyotas. The only trouble I had was 1. Truck , the radio quit. It was covered. Also. I never did a ailment on any. I use them till. 120 140000. Then give it to my brother in law. And he runs the hell out of them. 😊😊😊😊😊
I have had a lot of trucks, and never had so many issues like you have with your trucks. I do understand you off road the shit out of yours, but it does not look like you are beating on it too bad. Try a Ram Power Wagon next time. See if it holds up. I drive one and it's pretty damn capable.

It may be the main ground to frame/body of the truck . ...I've had this problem with my 05 GMC Canyon 4x4 ofroad trim truck . ...disconnect the battery for about 5 minutes and everything should work . ...elecric windows/power ports/even the 3 speed fan would sometime only work on the highest setting . ...LEMON ! ...and the dealer replaced the drivers power window door controls and the under dash fan control panel . ...3 months later. .. the same problem with the windows , then the ac quit ...the fan still works though . ...I still have this truck . ...everybody builds ×%÷# nowadays .
That ding is caused by cold temperatures, for some reason affects the computer makes it glitch, causing even more issues, the a/c turn on by itself, the cluster doesn’t work how it should, the buttons stops working, etc. The worst part is gm being sh!t with the warranty
Man I’ve got the same truck. I haven’t had a single issue yet and I hope don’t have any. I’ve got 13,000 on her and I’ve had her since August. I put about 2,000 miles a month on now because I live in Wyoming and my rig is in Utah. I love this truck for sure.
I do agree that the GMC does look good but, I can't help thinking that it looks so much like the last generation ZR2. Not much of a styling upgrade.. GMC pretending to be a ZR2. lol

Could still be a low battery. My AT4X HAS ISSUES but GM has promised me all issues will be fixed. My truck was switching to kilometers on it's own😅
