After receiving overwhelming attention, likes, new subs, etc from my Ipad Mini 5 Unboxing, I have decided to make unboxing videos a thing haha hope you all enjoyed :)
Interesting that you praise them for removing plastic packaging yet find removing the plastic wrap from the entire camera so satisfying. Do you care that they still used plastic films on the camera body? If they had used paper insert instead of a molded pulp tray they could probably ditch most of the plastic wrap.... Would you prefer no plastic on the camera unit if possible or does it make it feel "new"? I work in packaging so I'm curious.
Hm I wouldn’t say praise is the right word. Removing the film is satisfying though. I’m sure there are other materials that could be used that I would also find satisfying when unboxing. Not sure what those are as plastic film for screens is currently still the norm. I would prefer no waste personally, but I also want something aesthetic that preserves the product if possible too.
@@juliannanichols Thanks for your feedback. To be fair, in the beginning of your video your caption says "Thank you GoPro for removing plastic"... I'd say that qualifies as praise.
I'm more interested in the plastic on the actual camera that you peel off though. Consumers love to "hate" plastic packaging yet they also seem to enjoy unwrapping it.... Interesting to study. Thanks again.
And Id say I disagree lol thanks is gratitude while praise is more exaggerated to me. A thanks does not equate to praise in my eyes. I’m simply acknowledging that I agree with the decision to remove the og plastic packaging. Also - I think it would be much more difficult to read had I included a paragraph on my full thought about the packaging. Honestly didn’t think anyone cared 😅 and np

Regrettably, I don’t like narrated unboxing videos 😅 but there are other people who do/make videos like that on yt for sure

Totally get it! My style though is more asmr-esk so my personality isn’t the main focus for these types of videos at this time
