As a first time go pro user who was gifted the Hero 11 Black, I just want to say Thank you Jordan for being so clear and to the point with this guide. My go pro case was a bit different tho, the casing was entirely black and it had a head mount too. Going to Indonesia tomorrow and can’t wait to use it there for the first time. Thanks a lot mate:)

You're a lifesaver. First time GoPro (any for that matter, any action camera) user here. I got frustrated because I couldn't find the Night Timelapse mode. I kept checking the basic video settings. After watching your video, I realised I got to click on the Time Lapse mode to find the other modes 😅 I felt I might have received a fake Gopro 11. You saved my local dealer a nasty phone call from me 😂

After I had used my new GoPro Hero 11 Black a few times, I was wanting to return it. It was overheating and the battery didn't last long at all. But since I'd had it more than 30 days, I figured they wouldn't take it back. So, I sat down with it and went through all of the settings. The next time I took it out, everything worked perfectly. The Quik app is great - as a remote control and as a video editor. I wish I'd found your video in December..
Hi, I'm glad you figured it out. I think a lot of people are dissatisfied when they don't understand the camera. Like any tool, you need to know how to use it. The Hero 11 can produce amazing quality videos, so I'm glad you are enjoying it!

Very clear and easy to follow video. I was gifted the 11 black this Christmas and as a first time go-pro user there is so much more to them than the cheap action cameras which is great as long as you can figure it out. I’m very excited to start recording with it this winter. :)

I’m in the market for a new GoPro since my 3Black but the dust and this video cleared up a bunch of stuff for me. Thank you for that! But, when you started covering the Quick app, your phone was in a holder with a GP mount. What holder was that???????
Gosh, I wish I could speed up the cloud. The only thing I know of that helps is to make sure your home WiFi is as fast as you can get. A while back, I didn't realize it, but my upload speed was slow, so I contacted my internet provider and they were able to speed it up,

Just in case people don’t know tho, the rear display “screen protector can be a pain to remove”-Quick tip, use one of the protective stickers on the front of the camera, to remove the rear sticker! Just stick it on there, and it all peels off! Thanks again Jordon!

Gosh, I wish I could speed up the cloud. The only thing I know of that helps is to make sure your home WiFi is as fast as you can get. A while back, I didn't realize it, but my upload speed was slow, so I contacted my internet provider and they were able to speed it up,
