At 58 in a couple of months, it's great to see age peers taking up scoots... Thank you for spreading the word and doing it in a responsible manner.

Hey doc! I too am about your age and I love my nami. It's refreshing to see an MD that still makes house calls. It would be very cool to see my doctor roll up on the fastest scooter in the world. Be safe doc and have fun.

Got my Nami Burn E 2 a few days ago, I absolutely love it! Your videos helped me decide on the purchase and I certainly don’t regret it

earned a new sub Doc , electric scooters in general is just amazing how it now helps us for the mobility a car or bicycle cannot provide, best of all we have a vehicle that fits under our desk

Hey Doc is good to hear from you. I'm glad you love your Nami. I would highly recommend getting some motorcycle grade overalls. Your current outfit would not prevent any road rash that could be sustained in the event of an accident. I will also recommend getting the cygolite. It's a great rear light. I would also recommend riding shoes for the same reason above. Gloworm makes a great headlight as well Outbound lighting. I would also recommend motorcycle grade gloves.

Thank you for taking the time to make these video on the Nami. They're very well done, congrats! I just purchased a Nami Burn-E and your videos have been very helpful.

Now separate from my comment below I want to say I added a short bar up front that I attached two 3000 lumen lights to with also a tyre pressure monitoring system ( which gives me great peace of mind ,regarding flat tyres) and a phone holder. All available on Amazon. I also went to my local bike shop and bought two small bike lights that have rubber stretchy cord and attach those to the rear bar. They work perfect. I’ve had a lot of comments that I’m easily seen due to good lighting. With these I never use the scooters lights so I get a lot more distance. I normally ride around 50 to 70km. Great machine😎👍

Yes the Nami is a great piece of machinery with loads of power, not for the faith hearted 😉. Guess is just what you are used to are used to. If you are coming from a motorcycle background then the power is very pleasing. Taking of with wheelspin in X mode is glorious, but with great power and speed comes the need for breaking power. Most mountain bike brake parts will fit on the Nami so if you looking for more control and better braking there are 4 piston hydraulic brakes available at any Mtb store. Also having your suspension setup up right will reduce the wobbles and don't be shy to turn up the damping on the steering. I also suggest practicing emergency braking, taking of and cornering at a empty parking lot or similar.

A steering damper is absolutely essential to completely eliminate the speed wobble. I have them on both my DT3 and DT Thunder. I wouldn't think of riding at speed without them.

The steering damper should get rid of the wobbles

Moved from an Inokim OX to the Nami. Very uncomfortable the first day. Got Scooter Bro’s to make the brake levers more spongy in their response, the factory settings were hard, and I nearly came to grief. But you are spot on, take your time, experiment with emergency stops. I’m still struggling with what I think is a poorly designed throttle. I have ridden motorbikes and driven cars, and I have yet to find a practical eScooter throttle with no dead spots, and some resistance to hard hand pressure inputs. Still, a good ride.

Wow. I've been a school teacher in DC for 11 years. I am on the brink of purchasing a Nami and came across your vids. Great insight. Appreciate you being thorough with attention to detail. Are there scooter meetups in DC? Also, thanks for the vid on Conte's Bike Shop. I live near there! Didn't know they worked on scooters. Appreciate you bro!

I just received the Burn-E 2 Max and am enjoying riding it. It appears the bracket is not sufficiently fastened to the frame in your demonstration of the steering damper.

Is there a guide showing how to adjust the Advanced P-settings for the individual drive modes? The printed manual isn't very helpful.

Great video my friend. My friend I live in Florida and the average age here is 65 so blinkers are absolutely a must. I drive a Cabo GT presently and really don't have a problem around here with that I love the Nami and would love to purchase one but extremely hesitant because of the lack of blinkers. Help me out

Great video and great to see scooters being used for business as well as pleasure. All helps to support their legal use!
