    I actually plugged up the hole where the wire go into the battery box above the controllers with moldable glue. Just gives me that extra confidence that I won't damage the insides.

    1700km behind. 192cm & 100kg. You can open the real potential with a wider mtb handlebar 780mm etc. PMT tires & steering damper are much needed imo. It's a best scooter out there. Only minus that I can think of are the Nutt brakes. They can handle the power but I definitely recommend something more solid like Magura with 4 pistons. Once again, best scooter out there no doubt but needs some upgrades if you want to open the real potential. Much love guys, your content is always top tier.

    • @RIDEGLIDE
      @RIDEGLIDE  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you 🙌 definitely agree with the handlebars but havent found the perfect PMT for off-roading in the wet yet! Maguras are such a nice upgrade 👍

      @@RIDEGLIDE oh yeah those off road tires are perfect for an enviroment like that. I meant it more as overall. Pmt is better for asphalt/ light sand but nothing will beat good old off road tires 👍

    How many miles have you guys put on your Nami? I put 1300 miles on mine but you guys definitely ride more off road than me so I was wondering what you think about the carbon fiber stem. How is this scooter compared to the King GT?

    • @RIDEGLIDE

      Hundreds of off-road miles!! Love the stem, always responsive!
      The GT is great, amazingly powerful and a proper upgrade to the King, wish they would upgrade the suspension as well and it would be even better 👍🙌

      @starkalarm 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@shanew7361 I’ve done just over 1200km now and with no steering damper and the stock bars there is absolutely no wobble or chatter or wheel bouncing. At around 900km I noticed a notch that the steering has at centre and this has changed the wobble I did get at new around 75kph absolutely disappear. I regularly travel at 90kph. I also weigh 240 pound if that helps. Speed bumps at 40-50kph are not a problem, they are a lot of fun.

      @@shanew7361 i bought the King GT as well but took it back as I just didn’t like the feel of it after riding the Nami. But that’s not to say it’s not an Awsome scooter. The display on the Nami has never bothered me. It can be a little hard to read everything but the speed, battery voltage, cruise control and turbo and the power ring are all visible in bright light. It can be a bit hard to read battery percentage while riding but you still have the voltage to go off.

    He keeps saying that over and over. Make sure the IP rating is genuin. And how exactly do you do that? Not 1 word spoken about that.
    Urr if the company lies and says it's ip rating is 'X' and advertisers it as 'X' and you call up and check to make sure it is actually 'X' and they say yeah its 'X'. Then you purchase it and its not.
    Then what? You'd be like "At least i checked" 😂

    • @RIDEGLIDE
      @RIDEGLIDE  ปีที่แล้ว

      Send it in an email to the company you buy from, then get a reply in writing. They are generally who the warranty will be held with so at least you have a paper trail if any issues arise. IP ratings are tricky becasue the descriptions are still pretty vague! The manufacturer should have a testing certificate though! 😀
