The exposed wires from the horn and the charge ports are a very weird design choice. They could easily fit removable covers over those parts.

    • @Maykay1312
      @Maykay1312 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

In general its not a very good design they didnt even fill in the holes in the middle of the deck and the foot rest what if mud gets in there is it waterproof can u wash it ??? Dumb design if u ask me they shoud have made it with drain holes put covers over the backside of the charging ports longer mud fenders so the mud doesent jump up
Into the horn and shoud have moved the horn to another place on the scooter or at least right behind the charging ports and the mud fender woud help at keeping all the mud on the underside of the scooter and not in the charge ports and in the horn

Some Notes: I think there are Temperature sensors in the motor, the controllers and the battery but you can only show the data of the controllers. Next is that only the custom 2 modes can be set to highest power (x has that on default) and that the turbo has to be enabled generally in menu and then activated while driving (info for when testing top speed, some people did not manage to activate it when testing).

You wouldn't want an air shock on that scooter. It uses similar suspension to the Zero 11x. I tried putting the highest pressure air shock I could find on the 11x (350 PSI RockShox) and it was still far too soft. Scooters this heavy are not suitable for air shocks unless the suspension geometry is designed in a way that reduces the required stiffness (not the case here)

Given the size of the front mudguard the front spray will be terrible in rainy and wet conditions.
The bizarre front deck design, with uncovered hole and wiring will accumulate large amount of dirt difficult to clean. The front face should be smooth, with no holes, no wiring, no nothing, easy to wipe with a cloth.
The stem bearing and clamp will also gather a maximum amount of spray, that's not only bad news for the bearings but will also introduce the issue of sudden and irreversible galvanic corrosion where aluminium and carbon meet, where also alot of stress force is concentrated, that is not awesome.

Seems to me that, in the race for more and more power, scooter manufacturers get so far from the initial e-scooter concept that they enter motorcycle territory.
What's the difference between a 50kg 6000W e-scooter and a motorcycle, be it electric or gas powered ? You can't take any of them upstairs in your apartment, you struggle to get them across obstacles, you definitely can't take them in public transportation and they cost a lot of money.
Yes, you need a license for a motorcycle, but this inconvenience is surpassed by the advantages that a motorcycle brings - much better handling, acceleration, autonomy and, not last, legality.
Not to mention that, for 3000 to 6000 $, which is the price range of these monster e-scooters, you can get a very good motorcycle.
In my opinion, their only use is to be shown off in the weekend group rides.

I'm thinking the same, I don't understand the big scooters that we see like Kaboo Wolf Warrior or this one. Spec-wise these are better, but the portability is far gone with this weight and size.
But if I compare it to a gas powered motorcycle, these bulky electric scooters still takes less space and don't need as much maintenance. If someone lives in a place where there is no need to carry it up the stairs, then this might not be that of a bad option. Scooter like this can be stored in an apartment, just look where Adam has it. On the other hand, yeah, these don't need a licence, but in many places these are not road legal anyway.
Besides that there is indeed demand for these.

There is a special something to standing on such a thing and you can potentially still get it into a car or train which is very unlikely with a "Ebike" of that size. However even Michael Sha himself told that he sees no value in making a scooter over 50kg and you can see him experimenting with sur-ron type of e-enduro for a different experience

This is the President for scooters and for an extra £800 just get the Nami. Sine wave controllers at 50Amps each is more than enough. For the EUC riders:) The Nami Burn E is the equivalent of an "Inmotion" EUC but with the performance, features, and build quality that far exceeds Begode which would be the Dualtron equivalent.

After watching this project unfold on Facebook for over a year it gives me a whole new appreciation for what this final product really is. Ride & Glide did a speed test with a 75kg rider on race track it went 58.8 mph in max settings. Did the test few times never got to 60mph but still pretty decent.
