@@RIDEGLIDE But it didn't get rid of the lazy turn in you mentioned while riding the trail, did it? If I had to analogise I'd say it steers like Batman's 'Tumbler' bike. Anyway, someone will surely try it at some point because no-one wants to spend $5-6k on a scooter that could steer with scalpel accuracy but instead does so like a pig. Apollo Phantom is a beautiful and fast scooter but the Nami would be hard to beat! We will try to make it happen!
@@RIDEGLIDE Yea I agree. There are some things that I like better on the Appolo Ludicrous though:
- the fact that their controllers, also sine wave, allow for variable electric braking with a second throttle lever on the left eliminating the need for friction brakes all together and regenerating more
- 15 lbs lighter weight and more compact
- quad suspension
- display more visible in daylight
- slightly more refined; that rattling rear fender add-on on the Nami looks like a total afterthought and takes away from the refinement of the scooter; should be one piece
- rear brake light and signaling better designed; higher, more visible
- better stem folding mechanism; they are both good but the Phantom is slightly easier to do/undo; Nami has no hook
- better thumb throttle ergonomics than that cheep one Nami uses that is making the rounds on a lot of scooters
- $1000 less
The Nami has its own advantages:
- way more range, big plus
- adjustable suspension; although on stiffest it still looks looser than the Phantom
- programmable presets
- maybe a little faster acceleration; can't tell until there is a head to head
- faster top speed, although do we really need anything over 50mph
- external controllers; less likely to overheat
- water proofing
So I don't know. Price is no object for me so it basically comes down between more range with Nami or Phantom's better electric brake control and refinement. If the Nami added an electric brake throttle and fixed the ugliness and poor design of that rear fender it would be an easier choice.

@@RIDEGLIDE But it didn't get rid of the lazy turn in you mentioned while riding the trail, did it? If I had to analogise I'd say it steers like Batman's 'Tumbler' bike. Could probably use a damper and I bet a narrower front hoop would improve steering response measurably,. Anyway, someone will surely try it at some point because no-one wants to spend $5-6k on a scooter that could steer with scalpel accuracy but instead does so like a pig.
I really like the tubular steel frame construction, the stem locking mechanism is interesting as well. This thing, when sorted, could be a bit of a game changer. Loving the rapid advancement in the PEV space though, kudos to Nami for raising the bar and you guys for showcasing it.
You guys should compare this to the Bronco Xtreme 11. It's a direct competitor to this scooter
Yes!!!!!!!!!!!¡
im from united states can i purchase this from u guys?
What controllers do these have? Are they the stormCore controllers that Rion uses or something better?
Hi! Is this scooter stable at high speed?
No it gets emotional
@@DKTPAirsoft 😂😂😂
Above 50 mph it starts to wobble so I recommend you get a steering damper
What amazing review , video, commentary, explanation, execution I can only hope one day to get to your level WELL DONE SIR!!! 👏
Thank you so much, it means a lot! 🙌
I have a favorite and it's the 'Rion RE90.'
That scooter is fast and stylish
@@Amazon820 Yes, it is. But, as someone once said there's no "kickstand, signal lights, horn...etc." It is fast and will pass all other scooters currently on the market. The RION RE90 is the world's first electric scooter designed to break records! I think we can easily compare it to a Formula 1, everything has been created to get performances out of it! Developed, manufactured and assembled in Los Angeles, the RION RE90 is the first electric scooter made of that much carbon! Price: $8,800
@@JanM88 And it only ways 25 kilos it's like a Ferrari the acceleration is well impressive, if one is worried about having no signalling then he or she can purchase a wireless cycling vest which indicates left turn, right turn by typing in Aliexpress ''bicycle hivis signal indicator'' I also like the Weped has lights all over the place
I'm spoilt for choice th-cam.com/video/RGqMoGwD_b4/w-d-xo.html
I think that the default tires for higher end scooters like this should just come with Off-Road Tires
Nice review! Love this scooter...looks very solid like a tank. Did you repeat any top speed runs on 100% battery by any chance?
Hit just under 59mph but they have gone over 50 in UAE apparently!
@@RIDEGLIDE you mean 60 right? In the video at 76% battery you hit 57.6 in normal/58.8 in turbo... 100% you only hit
How thick is the wall of that carbon stering column ?
do u guys ship to u.s?
You should do a side-by-side comparison with the FIEABOR Q08 5600w scooter. I've got one of them ordered off of Amazon. I didn't see one of these on Amazon
From what i have seen Fieabor is the definition of cheap low quality Electric scooter.
Learning breaking distances is very impotent when riding hi performance scooters
As I've found out on my dualtron Eagle
Hydraulic breaks definitely needs some sensitivity in the fingers.
Does it have single and dual hub option?
Only Dual. You can just set up a mode to only use front or rear motor if you would like to however
what the hell, what vehicle camera man is using to keep up? :D
Thank you for watching the video I created for Ride + Glide! I used a Onewheel to film all of the moving cinematography on the trails and a car was used for the speed runs 🎥🔥
That background music, kill it with fire please. Great scooter though ;/)
😂😂😂
Is there a way to switch driving modes while driving the scooter? From E to D to S to C to X while driving?
Yes
Looks mean! The handle bars seem high, does anyone know if they adjust?
I don't think it can.
It's actually not safe to ride a high performance scooter with a low bar, since it will make your lower body parts be pushed backwards when braking hard, while your upper body will keep on going forward and fly away.
Hi) which VESC controller by Vedder and Trampa is inside? And wheels is 75mm magnets as i see?
Safe to say these don't have vin numbers eh? I'd love to get one of these legal for road use for to and from travel to work. The speed limits I would be comeing up against are almost all 55 mph
Did you miss pronounce sine wave? There is an e after the I.
Hello luke! Would like to ask your permission to use a few clips from your videos on my fb page. Let me know when if it's fine with you. More power!
no problem, please credit Ride and Glide when posting
Hello Johnny, thank you so much for watching the video I created for Ride + Glide. I am the filmmaker that captures and create all the content for a Ride and Glide and please do credit me when you use the footage. Luke 🎥
@@YoungFilmmaker thanks to both of you! Will surely do! God speed!
Does it have whale and handle tvich problem.. i can tell watching you ride.. like zero big dezign of subspencion have this.
what a strange noise when you rode on offroad? its your camera or what?
the light was loose so all good!
Did I miss the total mileage on charge test?
Do you know if there is a sales store in Turkey, or is there shipping to Turkey?
I am sure there will be be but not sure on who it is yet I’m afraid!
What’s the REAL WORLD range of this. Does it get anywhere near 100km on max settings with a mix of slow and fast riding?
Had 95km with about 25% battery remaining riding fairly hard and decent hills, would be a lot more if we were riding eco!
@@RIDEGLIDE wow. So this is basically the perfect scooter. You’ve totally helped me decide. Thank you 🙏🏼
What a beast that bad boy is I'd love to have this scooter what's the damage? Excellent vid mate😀
4500 dollars
@@pnkmetal71 it hurts
Did you do a real world range test on the scooter yet?
I’m talking maybe mode 2 without turbo for commuting and chilling purposes.
So far 95km with 25% battery remaining riding fairly hard. No full speed runs but over 40mph at times!
@@RIDEGLIDE very nice. Looks like I’ve Just Bought my Wolf Warrior 11 a little too prematurely doh!
Wolf warrior is still a great scooter and a lot of people prefer the twin fork design! 😃
was stem wobble encountered?
Only when braking from top speed but once we lowered the ebrake it was much smoother!
Had mine for a week now 😁
What a beast!
Wonder if those acceleration figures improve a bit more with the lights turned off.
Brother, how much did it cost you ?
@@worldpeace4794 3500 USD here in SE Asia
Amazing which others scooters did you consider before the purchase of this one? Im debating the daultron thunder as well.
@@degoek I was looking at a used DT3 and a new Vsett10+ but figured that I would probably want the most performance I can get so I went straight to the NAMI.
The Thunder2 and the Storm Limited are real beasts in terms of power and range and will provide stiff competition for the NAMi as well.
@@robertm8401 thanks bro im also looking at the zero11x i appreciate the feedback
Amazing video guys!
Glad you enjoyed it 🙌😃
Rion is da beast of all escooter. Have you reviewed one?
The size of it, it looks like it should have 12 or 13-inch wheels, those 11-inchers look small on it
Stay consistent and your channel will do very well. Great review👍👍
Thanks Marko 🙌
I got my bern-e today, o. M. G.
Tell me you figured out what that dam rattling in the front assemblies is all about???
the light was loose 🤣
@@RIDEGLIDE maybe, i will check in the morning. Investigation pending, and this thing is a beast, I’m learning how to be safe before i take her into third gear.
Could it be the cables in the stem rattling?stay tuned
Oh yes, this is off-road the rattle is /audible/noticeable.
How does this compare to the Dualtron x2?
How do you lock it then?
